I have the 2 piece Body Glove case (the one that actually fits) and I was looking for a dock solution that looked fairly attractive and would fit the case etc. Had a hard time finding one that looked like it would work without modification.
I stumbled upon this mini tripod for the Evo 3D and for the price, seems like it would be hard to go wrong. Then I got to thinking that this obviously would be great for it's original purpose as a tripod for the Sensations stellar cam....double bonus....doh.
I'll let everyone know how it goes. It looks like it'll work as a dock especially well considering the volume rocker and usb port should be accessible and it is fairly attractive

The seidio desk top dock for the thunderbolt works perfect for the Sensation. Have both phones and it fits in perfect with no case with the small plastic fill in that comes with the dock and then if also fits perfectly with a soft skin case without the plastic fill in. Bought it at Android Central for $27.00.
I also have the newer black 2 piece Body Glove case/kickstand. I'm actually liken it's function/looks/protection more than I thought I would! The Tripod might work with keeping the case on, if nothing else shows up soon.
Hi All,
Well I've not really done many reviews so I may miss things or not do so well but will try to cover as much as I can, if you have any questions by all means ask. This is mostly my thoughts on the Noreve Leather case for the Nexus 4 and when used with Qi charging systems, there seems to be views and opinions on Qi chargers and some cases but none leather. I like to look after my phones, while the glass used these days is nice and strong I have found out the hardway that they still can break quite easily.
I've had bumpers, back covers and skins before but still had accidents involving broken screens from time to time. So I know try to look at covers that will protect the whole phone, normally a leather flip of book type case of some sort. After reading a few thoughts and reviews on Noreve cases on this forum I became very interested indeed. So I ordered one and let me say it is fantastic, the quality and finish of the final product is just simply beautiful. They are not a EL Cheapo PU leather case, infact they are fairly expensive but you would expect this considering it is a hand made item by a true craftsman using genuine leather.
The case's base is made from a molded plastic, with the sides being made from metal (most likely steel) and then has the leather fitted skillfully. Well then end product is simple and elegantbut extremely functional in providing full protection for your nexus 4. The sides are quite snug fitting, this case really holds your phone well and provide good side protection but allows use of all side keys and acess to charging / Headphone sockets. It closes quite positivly and stays shut very well, takes a little getting used to opening it but I like the secure feel of it.
Anyway, there's other revies of the quality fit 'n finish of this product. While it's not that cheap it is beautiful and doesn't bulk the phone up anywhere as much as you might think. Now the other thing I was also interested in was Qi charging, I've tried a few of the cheapies about but they had to have the phone in exactly the right spot or they didn't work. No option of just buying Googles Orb in Australia yet, so I found one being sold online from Gadgets4Geeks website.
They had a video showing this charger working with a few different types of cases, so I bought one to try out. Works fine with different cases just like the video shows, well will it work with a leather case?
Answer is this charging pads seems to work perfectly with the Noreve leather case, I've taken some photos of the phone in the case showing the wireless charging working and a few of just how beautiful and well made this case truely is.
The Qi Pad
Phone shown charging still sidesways, while the phone does need to be put in the right area for charging to work it's quite a decent area so the phone also charges fine even if placed down on a angle. Nice and easy, the other thing I like is it beeps when it's made a connection/started charging and then once again when charging is finished. Thats it, the charger then turns off, none of this repeated beeping on or off like some of the chargers out there.
Now a couple more close up shots showing the beautiful Noreve case and how well it fits the Nexus 4 offering both style with very good protection

Any idea WHICH case this is from Noreve. Tradition isn't one of the options on the site, and I want to make sure that I get one that works with a Qi charger.
It's listed on their site, here's a link http://www.noreve.com/langue/en/pro...=2679&osCsid=ba83d3b5b01db61f347d18b1290b60cb
Then lower down is your selection of colours and different finishes to the leather, I bought mine from a different site though as it worked out cheaper than direct from Noreve. I got mine through MobileZap online, heres a link http://www.mobilezap.com.au/38454-noreve-tradition-case-for-google-nexus-4---brown.htm
Some of the Noreve cases have the option for a belt clip also but I didn't get that as I was worried the metal clip would stop the case siting flat as well as Qi charging not working. I have noticed that Qi charging is slower with a case fitted but I guess thats to be expected as the phone is further away from the charging surface, I really love this case and am so glad Qi charging at least works.

I too have a Noreve case for my new Nexus 7 but I have not been able to find a Qi charger that works with this case. Can you please tell me the brand so I can search for a source here in the US? Thanks!
Towards the end he mentioned Gadgets4Geeks.
Here is the link for the charger: http://www.gadgets4geeks.com.au/product/qi_wireless_charger
Yep, the QI charger I'm using is from Gadgets4Geeks. Still using it and the same leather case without any problems, the charger works a treat. I think it may charger slightly slower (though I've not timed/tested this) with the case than without. I don't ever take it out of the case, extremely happy with this set-up
Incase it helps the info on the underside of the Qi charger is this:
Wireless charging pad
Model: T-100
input: DC 5v, 1500mA
Made in China
So I run 3 to 4 times a week and have been using my S3 by plugging in the headphones and storing the phone in my pocket, which tends to become uncomfortable depending on the shorts I use. Are there any armbands that people have used for the S6 that would fit the phone in a case like the UAG?? I ordered my G920F and can't wait!! I ended up ordering a couple wireless pads along with a iottie car dock, and a 4 port car charger with one port usable as quick charge when needed. It's a shame I pulled the trigger over the holiday weekend though instead of the beginning of the week and receive my package typically a couple days later. I debated back and forth over the S6 and the G4, but in the end, I stayed loyal. I am still happy with my S3, just needed to change carriers!! (going from Sprint to Cricket)
Curious too. I want to bring my s6 to the gym but i always seem to bump into dumbells n stuff at the gym. I dont wanna accidently smash my s6. Armband would be perfect.
I always recommend QuadLock when this question gets asked. I switch phones about every 3 months, and I like running with an armband, so it's really the only option. They are also having a sale today, I believe?
I always just buy a cheap case off of Amazon, attach the universal device mount to it, then use the same armband I've had for the last 6 phones. (Normally I just pry the universal device mount off of my previous phone's case and glue it to the new one). If you don't mind making your UAG case less attractive, you can attach it right to that case, but I use the Ringke clear one from Amazon for my S6.

I doubt it would work with the flip covers; and even if it did, the flap wouldn't stay closed. It would probably work with the other ones, though.
I got one of these cheap ones: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UA4G4QA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've used it thus far with a Spigen Ultra Hybrid, Otterbox Commuter, and Verus Iron Bumper and all have fit well.

Just ordered one... Sounds like what I am looking for... The only worry I have is the headphone hole. Is it is a good location?? I haven't received my S6 yet, but I'm patiently waiting!!
Yeah, I think it's a pretty good location. I can't say that I've used it, though, because I have bluetooth headphones that I run with.
Have you checked out FlipBelt? I've been on the fence about trying one out. Currently 1,460 4.5/5 reviews on Amazon.
My wife has a pretty similar belt, and she likes it. Belts are not for me, though.
Agreed, it would be similar to wearing in my pocket. With the armband, I don't have to worry about the phone bouncing around.
Hey folks, I have a qi fast charging magnetic charger (linked below)
I tried sticking the ring to the outside of the case am using but after a few weeks of on/off the magnet it came off. I also had the ring under the case but it's too thick to stick reliably.
I'm trying to find an ultra thin case that won't look warped when I stick the ring under the case, or maybe even has a cut out inside the case for the plates you can get or the ring, and is thin enough to stick well on the charger
Suggestions would be awesome!!

I have that same case and I have a metal place stuck to the inside of it for my magnetic car mount. I can't see or feel the plate. I'm not sure if my plate is the same thickness as your ring.
100% get the Rhino Shield Bumper Case. Amazing drop protection (I've dropped many times on all sides, including front and back, with no concern) and keeps a super thin minimal design. Back is completely open. Pairs perfectly with dbrand skins on the back!

I'm loving the Spigen case!!
I've been using OtterBox for my last two notes. I really like the Symmetry model on the Note 9. Great protection and not too bulky.
I'm using the Armadillotek case and it's great. Feels very comfy and offers drop support and protection.
I'm using Spigen Neo Hybrid + Liquid Crystal Clear, spigen cases are awesome!

Is wireless charging working with the Spigen cases? On reviews of Amazon they say not. Is this true?
Accordingly with this video, is OK
Official Samsung cases.
Well... I'm using the Samsung clear case for my Note 9. It's very thin, but also a very tight fit so I'm not sure how it'll fit with that ring. Also you'd obviously see the ring.
Does that ring not scratch the back glass?
I will recommend Speck to anyone with a Note 9. Presidio grip is amazing

I can answer this question: yes. I tried a Spigen case yesterday and it worked well.

When i bought Note9 i knew that i must buy some tough case for it, this is most expensive phone that i`ve got so far and protection before look. So i was wondering about lovemei or lovmei cases, you know, 6 screws, big metal case that you can use also as self-defence, car lift, surfing, scateboard (just attach wheels ) and for space shuttle heat cover. But you know, NFC payments, and wireless charger - this is very important for me. So i manage to find one case that costs lot for me, and i bought it with little bit of fear, but what i`ve got... I`ve bought SUPCASE CLAYCO XENON. It covers both sides of phone, it is little bit tricky to mount but effect is brilliant! Phone looks very good in it, it is not as bulky as i thought it would be, first impressions was not so good because of stylus experience at screen. When i try to work with stylus i felt resistance between tip of stylus and screen but after few hour of phone usage everything came to normal. I think that screen cover was just extremely clean and as soon as i pick up few calls surface was back to normal experience. So - if anyone want to have best possible protection and want their phone to still look good and not so bulky this is answer.
I recently picked up this 10000mAh Battery Case from ZeroLemon for my S22 Ultra. My jaw dropped as I took it out of the packaging and saw how big this thing is. The Amazon page states that it is as thick as 3 S22 Ultras and yeah, it's pretty close to that.
Aside from its thickness the case feels pretty durable. It comes with a dual layer system, a polycarbonate interior shell covered by a tough exterior skin similar to an Otterbox. It has all the cutouts for the cameras, charger, pen, speaker and microphones. The overlay on the hardware buttons feel a little mushy but have a satisfying "click" when depressed.
As far as protection goes I think it will do a decent job of keeping your S22U from getting jacked up should you drop it while wearing this suit of armor. The corners are well protected as well as the camera. The screen, however, isn't really recessed from the front so a screen protector is definitely recommended. Although the product page on Amazon says that this case is not compatible with a tempered glass screen protector, the one I purchased (AACL) has no issues fitting with this case.
I have been using this for a couple of days now and yet to plug it to recharge. And as far as that goes, you can either use your USB-C cable or a wireless charging pad to charge the battery and your phone simultaneously.
I have been a ZeroLemon fan since the days of the Galaxy SIII and I am so glad they came out with this. It has everything that I am looking for in a battery case but I wish they would have included a belt clip similar to an Otterbox to help lug this thing around. Any one else thinking about or already picked up one of these? If so how are you liking it?

So what is the total weight of this unit + phone together?
As someone who wants to bicycle to camping spots far away from civilization for about 3-4 days, this would be excellent. And yet, this case wouldn't fit most handlebar mounts. I'm sure the case I have is already pushing it since the phone is already so big (Pelican), these just keep getting bigger.
_________
Also: @mzsquared
Product Weight: 9.45 oz (267g)
Phone weight 229g
= 496g (1.093lbs.)
So more dangerous than 1 brick of butter.
Wow, looks bigger than any previous one's i've used from them.. can it work with the Whitestone Dome screen protector?
This case looks desirable. Some of the product reviews on Amazon say it falsely detects water damage, preventing charging. Is this a problem anyone in this thread has seen?
That thing is an absolute monstrosity. I can't imagine having that in my pocket at the gym. Suspenders would be a necessity.
look like you can kill somebody with it lol

It shouldn't. I don't start charging mine until I'm @25% or less. Maybe if you constantly turned it on and charged all the time.

Don't you have issues with the ultra wide camera lens?
I am not much of a camera guy. I just take basic pics and haven't taken any ultra wide. So, it has not affected my use.
