good idea!
3d tunnel works ok. It runs with helix launcher but close out eventually.
Bezier works great. No problems at all and looks nice.
Nexus mod obviously doesn't work.
Red eye scanner doesn't work that well

Isn't it great! I just wish I could change the font color from green to a cyan to match my theme a little better.

Negative. My battery life today has been the same (as far as I can tell) with moderate use. It certainly hasn't been losing battery % at a rapid rate. No harm in trying it yourself.
First day I have been using LWP, for what its worth.

Nexus mod has been working perfectly fine for me since like before noon for me...without a hitch, or hiccup. The earth FC on me, and back to NexusMod it was. A few are having issues with it and some have had no trouble at all Odd....yes.
Is any one having this issue? When I set the live wallpaper, it shows up nice. If I put the phone to sleep and wake it back up, the phone reverts back to my original static wallpaper. Any thoughts?
Mystify and Pong LWP seem to work fine for me. No FC's and I've used both for about an 8 hour period each.

I had the same problem. Found that when I dl a wallpaper from the market it stuck. Every wall that came with the rom reverted back.

Is it still there after your phone sleeps for awhile?
Nexusmod works great for me when I first put it on, but after my phone sleeps and I wake it back up, I'm right back to my old "regular" wallpaper....
I found the problem, I had downloaded the Digitain rain LWP and that was the problem. I downloaded Nexus Mod and it works great. Man it looks sweet.
I stand corrected, after the phone sat for a minute in sleep, it decided to revert back with this one too. hmm. . .

As a test, try the Maps lwp. So far it's the only one I've been able to get to "stick".
Not asking you to use it permanently or anything, just curious if the same thing happens for you....
It does look like maps LWP is sticking.
Digital Rain, Fireworks, and ZoomField all stick for me and I still have the HTCweatherwallpaper.apk installed they stick and I have my weather effects

sorry was more meaning to set it into the Heron rom.
The other forum for Dream someone has stripped rosie and standard launcher out and added this in.
I was thinking that as this would likely allow a real Rosie feel and indeed some more benefits, is it not possible that the hero rom could run a lot faster.
we would then have all the benefits of hero plus the feel of rosie plus the gestures.
Hope that explains my need for a genius

What seems to be happening for you.
I am using back hero rom and just used the adb install command to put both the widget and the open gesture.
is that what you did.
I have a feeling that you might not be able to do it with other launcher in as this isnt on the rom I am using
hope that helps because this wroks a charm real fast.
Just need the help of a Dev

actually i tried to install the open gesture twice as i thought i had the widget installed. its all on now and looks great. transform the french 2.4 rom which is by far the most stable here. looks like hero with android base. i am happy now. just wish it would let me install weather widget so i get the weather too. obviously the clock is all for looks as it dont update time but hey it looks good but the clock has to go

Time updates for me.
I was thinking that someone has made a HTC widget to work in the clock so surely they can do the same with Weather etc.
Time might update for me and not you as I am running Hero rom by jepeara

I have no lag and flash player and sense ui for multi touch.
Problem solved just need a dev to help pt it all together becuse this is fast absolutely no lag on a hero rom and looks like rosie

ah i wuill flash hero v1.4 and disable touchflo and add this app......... nice replacement mate you are right. hero v1.4 is much quicker when home is enabled and not touchflo. now i can use hero rom without losing the looks and speed!

Can you report back how it performs I am using the stripped down version of hero not fatalitys version 1.4 so would be really keen to fine out how it performs.
Just thought I would run it on one rom for a period of time due to degreding performance issues seen on hero roms in the past.

i love that fatal1ty hero rom but 1.4 is just too slow and battery hungry. 1.2 is still better than 1.4 in my opinion as more time was spent getting it right. will try it on 1.2 now
right i installed this over fatal1ty hero v1.4 and disabled touchflo to get google base which works rather well. i enable the open gesture home replacement and widget and i now have all i asked for............ a hero rom with speed and stability not compromised! been using for hours now and its swank! hope some of the chefs can incorporate this into one of their builds. google home with hero look this defo is! very good find friend!
edit: looks like the powers that be have done it again. closed access to the page where the downloads were. says no access! don't know why? hate it when that happens.

right i woke up this morning to find my battery totally flat after fully charging prior to settling in for the night bout 12. i did diasble geotag in widget setup after install. something ate my battery throughout the night so i think the base that is used for this is of out most importance. i am now charging my phone after the initial panic of thinking it was dead.......... back on spfrance and will stay there from as he is incoporated the clock without using this app!

i am getting no issues at all battery still half full no charge since installing yesterday morning.

ya i agree. i installed it over fatal1ty v1.4 which is a battery hog anyway. anyway it works so thats the main thing. clocks starts updating after boot

I was commenting on how it works with Roms and the developement of, and how a program like this could be used as home in a hero rom to try and improve it.

Still running really smooth have now tried on 2 hero versions if only I could strip rosie out think this would be a good alternative

I'm not sure you can. I know some ROMS come with it but besides having lockbot I don't think you can do it without having 2.1.

I remember this coming up a few months ago, and I thought the 2.1 lockscreen on 1.5 was a no go...
What's the deal you drop 2.1 to get back to 1.5?
it's possible, but i doubt anyone is willing to backport the apk to 1.5 especially with 2.1 dropping within a few weeks. The nexus one news and weather widget was backported for example, but i dont think people are willing to put in all this effort with 2.1 around the corner.

stock android lockscreens are not apk.s they are in the codes you can run the stock donut lockscreen when on donut roms or enclair lockscreens when on enclair

and the reason i don't like lockme or lockbot is ...it's an app that doesn't fully let your phone sleep which drains the battery more.

mine slept fine with it installed but it laged to much for me to keep so i went back to custom locksceens from NOJ (for 1.5 roms)

kind of. for me it was too laggy for a replacement. i'd press menu and have to wait for lockbot to bring up the lockscreen. it was counterproductive for just a nicer looking screen.

exactly why i just uninstalled it after 48 hours of use...
also, its not treated like a regular lockscreen and my handscent messages were popping up over it even though i have the setting to only show after the lockscreen is removed which works perfectly again after uninstall... nice concept, but not refined enough for me...

+1 to everything above. Also it doesn't allow the adjustment of media volume when the screen is off.
ok here is an alpha. lots of people want to see how JIT improves things... not too much. this is only for enjoyment right now just to experience JIT on 2.1
NANDROID BACKUP.
then after you wipe flash this rom
you will get an FC just continue on. then you cant sign into google and i am aware of this. just skip it all. then sense will load
do not use the screen for navigation. it will FC. just push the button on the bottom left of the expresso bar and use the trackball to go to settings/applications/manage applications. now you use the touch screen and go to HTCsense and click it. clear defaults, press home and choose nexus launcher. tada now experience JIT and all its kinda goodness lol. i do not think market works but if enough people want jit, i will make a JIT enabled rom with no sense for damages new release.

what you had didnt work for me at all lol . but you did inspire me to spend 2 days trieng to get that lockscreen erased haha. everything worked except for that part. i will def. give credit to and that thread though.

thats how it goes with the hero lol. and also i noticed from watching your thread that people got up to activating and JIT and they used the first method with sh sync and i hate that way. chmod 644 is alot easier.
so you chmod 644 the lib that enables JIT?

HTC apps(as in lockscreen and Sense) don't seem to work well at all with JIT. not surprised, though.
the current release of JIT floating around is incomplete, thats the problem.
Ah, I thought it was just sense. Nexus launcher worked fine.

yeh hopefully when we get dalvik turbo which is made by totally different people as JIT then we will have that 200% increase and the amazing sense speed they got.
we'll see, I think the JIT will be pretty dang fast when it's completed, and we're not stuck with just a development snapshot.

well i know there is a complete torrent out there but i cant remember for anything the website i saw it on. its the same dalvik turbo in the video that showed 200% speed gains. but when i search torrents for it i just get turbo trojans

Nah, fell into permalock.20 minutes later pulled the battery.
Been running JIT on dc v1 for a few days now, but using gde homescreen (I like having my extra screens and soft keys). Works great.. minimal to no improvement in the games really, but a huge improvement in the speed of using live wallpapers. Went from not being able to use the fireworks and slide (cube style) from one screen to the next, for example, to being able to no problems now. HUGE difference on live wallpapers. A glitch here and there, a hang up on boot once or twice, but a restart and all was ok. ALMOST able to use as a daily rom with JIT, close enough I do anyways.
edit: didn't mention, but I used the instructions from another thread to just copy over the libdvm.so file to enable JIT, worked fine.

Yes they can be used with Sense UI.....most DEVS have updated their ROMs with the latest Rosies that now support LWP.
I've found the least lag with the zoomfield and mystify....although I'm quite partial to NexusMod 2.0
I've got nexusmod going right now and it hasn't seemed to cause any problems. Also Bezier and LiveFireWallpaper seem pretty cool and ran smoothly for me. (these 3 are all from the market)
The maps one is the only one that I might be willing to give up the weather animations for, but I haven't had a chance to try it out while I'm on the road. I'm a bit concerned what it might do as far as lag and battery consumption while buzzing down the highway.

Had to regrettably remove the HtchWeatherWallpaper.apk in systems/app
Everytime coming out of a sleep or unlocking the phone the weather wallpaper effects...kick the livewallper out.

im using DC 2.07 but I did change the rosie along with the lockscreen. im wondering if its not something to do with the fact that I took the HTCLockscreen apk from 2.06 becuase the weather animations dont kick in until you unlock it but the nexus mod dies as soon as I wake up the phone even before unlocking. are you using a clear lockscreen?

I like the Plasma live wallpaper. You can play with the settings to change flow rate, colors, intensity, etc.

Its not the lockscreen... I deleted my lockscreen and use vanilla, but it still doesnt stick on wake up.

Maybe its in the NexusMod apk itself.. You might want to look into that.
Compare it to the ones that do stick.

Same here, I deleted the weather.apk and flashed the new rosie on darchlegend and nexus does not stick.

ok it is something to do with the clear lockscreen. I went back and pused them one at a time starting with com.htc.resources.apk. still stuck after that, pushed back the clear HtcLockscreen.apk and it wouldnt stick anymore. now I have no idea whats so ever how to fix the problem but that is where my problem lies at least.

I partly agree.. I like the bezier and another one, but i prefer the NexusMod. Im going to pull the apk and see whats the difference.

Some user experience a "double lockscreen" this is being worked on. This bug is on all versions paid or free. Reboots sometimes works, or stop the lockscreen and start it again from in app settings.

WOW! This was what i was looking for (I just really wanted an auto rotating lockscreen) !
I've found a few things:
The status bar is still openable
There isn't an option to make the wallpaper see-through. Meaning we cannot see the live wallpaper beneath it.
The lock circle gets cut off when moved to extreme points.
Not deal breakers and considering its actually pretty good as is, I can live with those things maybe there will be fixes and additional features!

Try a simple reboot.
I dont have issue 3 and only live walpapers arent seen any other reg is seen.
and i love having issue 1

Is it the version from the market?
If it had some more customization options I'd be all over it, I'm just to use to widget locker now

Yeah I'm much the same. Widget locker is in the inner circle with root explorer and titanium backup ect... it does the job, has a million themes/skins extra and works well.
@OP: Hey not having a go, much, but I thought you didn't have a galaxy tab anymore?? x-D

I dont. I miss it so much i keep taking my roomates everytime it is left unattended.

Lol yup serves em right for being so cavalier with such a sublime piece of tech.... they should just consider themselves lucky they get it back off you IMO.

You could try no lock from the market

is that possible to make it as default home/standard lockscreen? if can, how?
cause after i'm installing it, i can only used when it run or lock the screen manually, not after reboot.
best lockscreen ever! please more options/settings...
