[Q]Hide calendar background. - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I've found several cabs that does this. however, I'm using cookies home tab thingy, to hide the appointments, and if I do that, the background on the top box is back. When I swipe up to show the appointments the backround is gone just as I wanted it to be, but then again I don't want to see all those appointments on my homescreen all the time.
Anyone who understand what I mean, and are able to give a quick solition to this? or any solution at all? Or do you need me to post screenies?

How can I prevent Good Messaging from Hijacking softkeys?

I've installed Good Messaging on my AT&T Tilt for work and I hate that it's hijacked the Calendar and Contacts softkeys on the Today screen as well as the Contacts button on the phonepad in the call status view. I've tried changing these registry settings:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Open
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\113\Open
This allows me to change the Calendar one back, but the contacts softkey never changes.... and, everytime the Good Launcher runs (it's in the startup folder) it reclaims the calendar softkey.
Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? All of my personal contacts and calendar info are outside of Good and it's annoying that these keys go there....
Thanks...
I was wondering the same thing. Good is great but i want my personal contacts to stay that way and it is annoying having to click start and then contacts
anyone ever figure this out?

I think what your looking for is Cookie's Home Tab and his CHTeditor. You should give it a try. Lots and lots of different modifications for your home tab. Here's the link...

Missing "People" widget

I'm not sure how it got deleted. I'm running Damage ROM. I added the Vanilla lock screen and flashed the market app fix. Somewhere when doing this my widget disappeared.
It's the widget that you can set for all the groups of people you have configured. It has 2 types, one takes up a full screen and the other is just a bar that only takes up one column of blocks. You can scroll through and set what happens when you select their name.
Can someone up this widget for me.
Thanks!
See if you can see the "People" app in Manage Applications. If so, try clearing data. That might bring the widget and app icon back.
I've had that problem with Calendar and Bookmark widgets.
I've had this issue with the bookmark and calendar widgets as well. Just go to settings>manage applications>HTC sense>Clear data. You will have to put your shortcuts and widgets back on your screens, but the missing widgets will show up.

...and what if they don't?
I have less widgets now than I did before clearing the HTC Sense data. Not the first time I've seen this problem, either.
I found that clearing the davilk-cache seems to fix things.
I had to clear it twice. The first time brought my people widget back but made my calendar disappear. The second one brought them both back.
However, I'm not sure if restarting will cause the problem again.

htc people widget

Hi guys,
I just got froyo on my desire, so no htc sense for me, which is not such an issue as i didn't really use any of the htc sense stuff, except people widget. Now, I can't seem to find a similar replacement on the market.
Does anyone know of a simple people widget that works the same way as the htc one?
Cheers
you wont find anything as pretty as the sense widgets but if your looking just for the function try contacts sidebar it works for me
i just tried contacts sidebar, and its good but it only has 4 contacts. Does anyone know of a widget where I can choose a "group" of contacts such as "favorites (starred)" and it shows them in a list. I don't really care if the contacts are scrollable like the htc people widget, as long as I can show more than 4 and i can scroll through them with an arrow or something like that.
Also, it would be nice if i can just choose the starred contacts and not have to select contacts manually.

People/contact widget. Type Sagrebin in the marketplace. They have a free trial and a paid widgets. Exact copy
actually i found this app called speeddialer. pretty much everything i was looking for. its a 1x4 widget and you can add as many contacts as you like. only downside is that it will ONLY do the default action for that contact, which is more than good enough for me right now
thanks all for your replies.

App showing agenda view that makes it easy to see what date you're looking at?

The built in calendar app lets you scroll through your events, but it's very easy to lose what day your on since the day/date info isn't a header, and scrolls out of sight along w/the events as you move through them, instead of acting like a header and staying fixed at the top of the screen, and changing each time you scroll up or down to another days events.
Has anyone seen a calendar app that provides that kind of calendar view available in an app?
This seems like an obviously missing capability. I can't find anything...anyone want to make one?
