Hey All proud to introduce 3D-MOD(d3str0y3d,dev,droid). The title represents anyone whose work i have used in my compilation(I think the dev. part covers it). I worked for 3days(no sleep), trying to get this project up and running.And bothered MANY more knowledgeable than myself with annoying questions.
This is MY perfect rom right now (since last nite), and since i am a mod FREAK its got a little bit for everyone.Since 2.1 i have been searching for Working lwp's that DO NOT revert, i have posted fixes in the past and in this rom i have incorporated what i have learnedinto a rom build that they work properly with, so i had to make this, plus with flipz vanilla lockscreen i couldnt help myself.
MY GOAL with this mod was to include things everyone has asked for in the community and put it together for the ppl thatdont know enough yet to do it themselves....Soooo if ONE person likes it ill be happy READ THE DESCRIPTION! if this does not sound good to you DO NOT DL, and DO NOT whine, go start a new thread and cry there...

Have yet to get lwp's on a rom I like. From the sound of it this could be an awesome rom. Hopefully everything works im excited for this one.

I could do it where it is aosp when you dial but when you talk or recieve a call it goes back..... TRUST ME i tried MANY DIFFERENT WAYS....

Lol, I believe you, how about taking off the photo stock and adding the Gallery3D - I think people like that better, or course as long as it works fast with no lags and that can do landscape without issues or escaping from it without crashing the phone I am sure you know what I mean.
Ohh now that we are talking about ASOP, anyway to get the Android KB on this OMG that would be the blast, it can make this ROM unique from the others.

trust me...its unique, the only reason its not in there is because when i sign into google 50000 times a day,aosp has no .com or long press # buttons. Ill put one up like that anything else???

Hey, good work and thanks for developing the ROM, I'll test once you have a link... but in the meantime, could you please fix the front page... at least use some formatting and make it a little less disorganized? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I'm sure it'll help you if your front page has a coherent flow instead of a "all-in-one-paragraph" style format.... or maybe that's just what I think.

I have a gif of a loading bar that I want as the bootscreen, but i have 0 experience with photoshop. Also, if you could just put LOADING in gray text above it, that would up the cool factor. I can PM you the gif if you want.

Glad to see another rom around that is based on the actual RUU and not someone else's rom haha. But here is a question I am going to start asking everyone who releases a rom.
Why should I flash this rom when I could flash a similar rom like Damage's?
I mean nothing harsh or offensive by it, but I am just curious to see what sets it apart from others I'm glad to see it though

I dont mean to be rude either, but why should he have to "sell" you on his ROM? Flash it or dont, and get on with your life.

I don't mean to be rude either, but the OP didn't go into much depth to describe the ROM... what was changed, added, removed, etc...
I don't think he was asking to be sold on the ROM, but maybe some more details about the ROM would be helpful.

Okay I'll admit that I was ddisappointed not to at least see a list of added/removed apps, but that just made me just decide to keep my current setup.
I fall asleep for 6 hours and this turns into a battle? Hmm. If you don't like my rom, flash someone else's or tell me what would make it better so I know to add it.

you still haven't told anybody what you did to this rom
Just post a little more information about the Rom and some screenshots. And if you still need help on the bootscreen i can help. I made the Sushi Bootscreen as well as the Logos.
I'm working on an update for it... starting now. I'll include the new "welcome to now" Sprint bootscreen, that's pretty slick
When I get the new version up, I'll be sure to put up more details and screenshots....

Does anyone know where com.HTC.rosieutility is located or what on here could still be causing it to fc on boot it doesn't affect the phone at all its just annoying seeing that every reboot

Yup you'll still be rooted with toasts method at least never touch the unrevoked root
I have no idea about 4g I would say probably not since I didn't change anything in that regard
I'll get back to u on the market

you will never get an aosp rom. 2.1 doesn't support wimax or the high video drivers. htc made the updates needed for those.

Ya sry about that but to be honest I like the little HTC touches here and there it actually tends to complement vanilla more then you might realize

WOW. almost 300 posts and you were WAITING for someone to rm a few apk's and then add one or 2? NO offense to you and i appreciate op just going thru the effort to share and ul, WE should all appreciate any contribution and if you have a problem with it just dont comment or use it. Just dont understand why you wouldnt just take 10 minutes and do it yourself. It takes ops longer cus hes also got wait for it to upload so he can share. This is not a crack and i am not a child. This is just my 2cents and what i thought while reading this comment.

Good job. Thanks for the speedy contribution towards our shiny new evo rom collection I remember liking sense and aosp so i like both and i always wanted sense to run right. That was everyones complaint with sense. Well thats not an issue anymore. I thought i would be all on it, like with my hero w/o thinking.....well as soon as i got my evo i forgot all that i learned about root and why to do it....JK but i am very satisfied with it and i will wait until i can access recovery and rw to system from device before i do. I spent the whole time i had my hero trying to make it into a device like this.....well now i have it Gimme a week and i think ill go to work.......

Those two things I can live without. Some devs said there were going to port an AOSP 2.1 ROM, but they haven't posted updates.

This is just the stock ROM with Sprint apps, HTC widgets, and the Sense launcher removed. It is still loaded with Sense.

as you can see i thougth sense was removed completely and if you think you can do that by just removing a few apks show me. also even if i had 1000 post, this could be my very 1st android phone and those 1000 posts wouldn't mean a damn thing, just my 2cents, if you don't have anything helpful to say, shut up.

Until we have fully functional aosp/froyo/2.2 you wont have a rom that will even work without a bunch of sense remnants wasting space on your internal storage and increasing rom size.HTC is a shiny ui htc used to lure in all the apple morons(no offense i used to have an iphone before my hero). and since they made the devices, they're plaguing software/htc sense is an integral part of the ruu they put together. This is the reason everyone always wants a non-sense rom or VANILLA. We will not have full function vanilla until toast or someone else here compiles an0ther makeshift kernel, or lastly when htc releases the source so that we can compile a kernel with the right device drivers, to give us a full function rom. It would be to say the least, very very very hard to just compile the right drivers for the htc device hardware, thus all the aosp/froyo with certain features such as cam, or 4G missing.......hope this helps you und3rstand what you are looking for a little bit more clearly. In theory, YOU or I could create the source code for the kernel and drivers. Is that going to HAPPEN?????????????????? Probably not. Rosies gone and most of the apps that where randomly coming on and wasting mem/batt. Are gone this is all I'm worried and it runs nice as **** I mean has anybody that had something bad to say even try it

search my name in xda search youll find PLENTY of inter3sting things ive said. Do your own homework before instulting me or anyone else please.I meant neither of you any disrespect. I was explaining myself a little better and when i put up the 2nd post i saw this. This is an open forum right? well thats my opinion and some info. I noticed what you did when i looked. Just wondering, were you unhappy with your evo when you got it? or did you just make a new rom to give everyone another choice of rom? or maybe even your personal, like i do sometimes? Just curious.....

I appreciate any contributions to the community and have spent months of my own time staying up finishing up things ive been working to complete my self in order to ul and share with the community. Needless to say, I KNOW WHERE YOURE COMING FROM. When i can give us a new choice of rom or theme i too will begin work.....

Its out for everyone, but I would suggest that the dev who made it post it on here, if they want it on here, or at least ask them first.
its freely available on his site, dont need to be a premium member.
i see nothing wrong with this especially if he is posting it for free download on his own site.
i would send a message to him and just ask if he minds.
he is getting traffic to his site so most people wouldnt care.

So it looks like king finally got his evo? Thats nice to know. As far as what i've read and seen about this rom, there is absolutely nothing special that would make me want to switch. "Well here it is. I have been working on this for some time now"
I would expect something great with a statement like that. Well Maybe i'm expecting to much. Can anybody that has used it make a case for it? Is it in any way better than the other roms out? thanks

+1, seems like any other ROM to me. Feedback anyone??
Gonna give this one a shot. Been using CM6 for about a week, and I wanna try something new. Hoping for better battery life here. Not thrilled it's a Sense ROM, but, oh well.

PRI is independent of ROM. If you have the latest PRI, it will stay with any ROM you flash.
First thing I can say about it is it feels very quick indeed. Overall it feels a bit more responsive than cm6. My biggest concern is battery life. Although my Evo had acceptable battery life when running stock, I have noticed that it was actually worse when running cm6.
I do miss being able to force my Evo to roam though. That's one feature I would love built into this rom.

it should be a bit quicker...
it's an odexed rom.
there is good and bad in any kind of system... odexed or deodexed.
there is a big topic about more specific differences between odex and deodex somewhere in the forums.
because it is odexed that means you cant theme it right?

Well im glad it was posted here, cuz i didnt know he was working on a rom. Ill give it a shot. Oh and theirs an app in the market that allows you to force roam, i think its called "roam control"

I'm surprised that there haven't been any AOSP roms yet. Sense uses up a lot of ram and memory, AOSP roms would definitely make this phone beastlier.
Besides noxtel and teamsilence, do we even have any other developers? Pretty sad because this is such a good device.

Hmmm..Its a double edged sword I suppose, I guess its hard to portray accurately the tone in which you mean people to read your posts. All good. Now, that I see that you're from twin cities... how's your data connection? Mine drops off every few minutes, tower hand-off issue? Only drops for a second or two but makes streaming music VERY annoying.

lmao I love when people use LMGTFY... by the way if you didnt figure out what it was its just stock style android like what would come on the G1, G2, or Nexus phone's, people call it AOSP or Vanilla Android... I call it AOSP but it doesn't truly make sense because thats the project as a whole...
btw if you just looking for a stock AOSP rom I ported it for my mt4g :/ I just did it for my personal use so I added the custom things that I like but I don't really have the time to trouble shoot it or add other peoples custom things to it.... but if you want it let me know and Ill shoot it over

Yea..I am from like the northern suburbs(blaine) and I work in like North Saint Paul(Vandais Heights)... I don't really ever lose my H when it would ever really annoy me.. like I don't get it at home, but I have wifi there...and I don't get it on like one road on my way to work which sucks because I stream pandora to my radio in my car...but other than that I am really satisfied, but that might be simply because I am not a real POWER user...well I am I guess.. but maybe then its just because I came from an unlocked iphone 2g...so lets just say a laggy "H" is still a FAR better connection than edge...hahah

I <3 you... god.. I understand it must be annoying when you think people aren't atleast attempting to google things first, but the truth is I just don't understand the **** that I find on google, I need someone to take a sentence out of their life and put it to me in lamens terms... like you just did.. I didin't really know what AOSP was cept an acronym for android open source project...but now that you have explained to me that it is just anothe way of referring to vanilla builds or whatever, that makes a lot more sense to me.... I don't think I am looking or an AOSP though... cuz I like the friendstream widget, and the news widget...cuz it vastly entertains me to browse status updates and what not from a home screen rather then having to go to a site or open an application...or pay for a widget that mirrors a widget I have for free... naawww mean????? So I don't really know but ...I? Like? Sense?..

I would love to try it out if you don't mind sending it to me. I'm on CM alpha right now and the only thing I'm missing is real working GPS (not that it's all what's broken in that rom). But I'm all about stock, don't like sense at all.

lmao im not gonna lie... i always preferred sense... that is until 2.2... that really stepped it up in my opinion, when I used my nexus one I always said it would be great if we could mash the 2... For example I like the aosp gallery but like the sense widgets (I guess I'm just a sucker for animations lol)... I built an aosp rom for myself a few weeks back but missed sense so went back to work on my tmo sense... now that I changed my status icons, changed recent apps in the status bar to be like the vibrants status bar and and changed the myfav's quick launch button changed I think I'm finally content in keeping it this way... or at least for the rest of the day lmao

Ill upload it in a lil bit n PM you a link... Everything works fine on it... just added a few things I personally like... nothing big just like the icons, battery, this n that...
The only thing I like about sense is the clock/weather widget. It's a good thing I love everything else about this phone.
