Slingbox need specific hardware to work and the app slingplayer cost 21€ on android market.
Tv shows stream lite is free, the full version costs 4.99$ and no special hardware is needed. I whould say its a better deal. Just my opinion.

Fast forwar and Rewing should be working now fine on FROGMOVZ video links.
If any trouble, pause the video before FF or RW.
Please, report if any issue; you can find a support email inside the aplication, in the FAQs section.

Yes, it works outside of the US. If a video is missing it means it got removed from the site it was hosted, try a different one. Also sometimes certain sites have the wrong episode ( lol at Psych).

I emailed the devs last week and offered some suggestions. One of them was to alphabetize the favorites which they said they were working on and would be available on the next release. Along with that was a request to be able to backup those favorites like you can with bookmarks. The last two suggestions that I had were to be able to have the program automatically be able to scan for new shows with notifications and to highlight or indicate in some way in the favorites section that that particular show has a new episode. The last two suggestions are features that can be found in an app that I use frequently called dogcatcher.
Anymore suggestions guys? I know the devs read these so post them here if you have any. I really love this app so I want nothing more than for it to get better and better.

hi,
You are right, we are reading this forum
In next update bookmarkts will be alphabetically ordered. The update has not been released yet because we are finishing a minor fix that is taking more time than expected.
We are also preparing a special surpurise that will come in the next weeks. More info soon.
You can leave here suggestions, be sure that the developers will read it.
Love the app - could you please put the title or episode number of the video somewhere on the cropped screen too? Sometimes when the video stops in the middle one has to search again...
Overall I am very happy with what you guys made :.)
Hi guys,
thanks for updating the app, it's really comfy with the new sorted bookmarks!
but could you please make the announcement for the new film streamer optional, like in with a don't show this again option for the paid app?
thanks for reading this!

This is to get a understanding to what people do with their android devices. This is also another way to express what we do that some people are not aware of (ex:video streaming, etc). Maybe open up paths for others that may just use their devices to just browse internet and play angry birls. Just feel free to enlighten the forums with what "special" apps that without, you couldn't live with. Thanks and god bless

I'm currently experiemting with the app called Tasker. Right now i have it set to for when on wifi, turn auto sync on and turn mobile data off. When i turn off wifi it automatically enables mobile data and turns auto sync off. There's so much more that this app can do it's well worth the money. (Takes a bit of learning but well worth it) Cause im forgetful when it comes to turning auto sync on/off when on mobile data/wifi. Currently gonna try setting up gps to turn on when i open google maps/navigator and turn off when closing them.
Here's the market link for those interested.

I just browse the internet and play angry birds.
Mine is used as a complete mobile office. I receive email and faxes via email in the morning. The faxes come in as tiffs so I use tiff2pdf to convert them. Then I use printer share to print them out at the office printer 20 miles away or on the home wireless printer.some of the docs must be filled out, signed and returned, so I use camscanner to take a pic of the form and can send it back via email. If the recipient needs a fax,i use pamfax to send it from the phone as a fax. I also send all these files to drop box so everyone in the office has all these files and all the computers I use throughout the day all have what I need.
I also use the map software to get miles and rates for people. My main office programs are:
Thinkfreeoffice, docstogo, officesuitepro and quickoffice adobe reader and fast image viewer.
If my phone can't handle it, I will use wireless tether to hook up the laptop to the internet, but honestly, the laptop is getting a bit dusty lately
My old tilt 2 was pretty good at all this stuff, but was much slower and couldn't handle all the above so a computer was necessary when traveling. With this inspire and the android revolution rom I'm in my glory! Exactly what I needed.

I use quickoffice to write my term papers and email them to myself. I love to use my video chat from Google to say hey to my gf wwhile I'm out and about. I use current widget to kill battery time in half. I love how I can be on phone with my dad and bring up Google maps to help him find a location. I use movie stream to watch a movie or so while on lunch at work. I use frame grabber to watch a movie and capture a certain image out of the video. Very awesome app. Ill use Justin.TV or ustream to watch the mavs in play offs or watch ufc. Videotofacebook is a helpful tool to upload straight to your account.alot more as well

adding custom cities to weather sense 3.0 app
hi
i've managed to add custom cities to wether sense. you need to have an S-OFF and rooted device. without that you can't copy the customized file.
go on this site for further instructions (thanks Hotrod68): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=975836
i used the third method and it worked like a charm.
getting your location code accuweather uses go to this site: http://netweather.accuweather.com/adcbin/netweather_v2/signup-page2.asp
fill out the form and then you will find at the end the location code - look at the database for example of the location code.
for your latitude and longitude values go to: http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html
write your adress and you will find your latitude and longitude values there.
you will find timezone and other data in the database.
nice adding to you
Am I the only think HTC's weather app is the worse Weather app there is?
Come on, you can't search for any cities, only major cities and time zone cities. WTF is up with that.
Then it actually detects your location and shows the correct city even if it's not in the "database" but guess what, you can't add that either.
Geez. Someone was smoking crack when they wrote this app.
Sorry if you were looking for an answer, but I am getting immensely frustrated while using my Android when it seems every 5th YouTube video says either "it is not available for mobile" or "content owner has not made this available for mobile".
I have tried the obvious, like changing useragents and fiddling with the http request, but it remains simply a fact that if my phone is providing information which enables it to be determined that it is a in fact a phone, then this can be changed so it does not provide such information.
I am using my home wifi, so some Telco IP address is not the issue.
Come on... This issue seems to be getting more prevalent, and as the vanguard of Android users, if we cannot figure this out, it will break my spirit.
But the above is true. To wit: how is my phone telling YouTube it is a phone, irrespective of what browser i use, what video player I choose, and how the user-agent is set?
Where could this trigger be coming from?
Thanks!

We all know the standard favorite apps...Nova Launcher, Lightflow, Tasker, Pulse, etc. What is an app that you like that doesn't get a lot of attention?
For me it would be Root Call Blocker Pro. With its google group filtering, I was able to go on a website listing lots of common spam numbers in my area code and add those to a google group on my laptop. Now I have about 80 such numbers blocked. I was also able to automatically direct all unknown or private callers to my voicemail.
Webkey. Lets you control everything on your Android from any PC. Even turns your phone access into a URL so no installation required on the controlling PC. Great for using it as a media device when someone doesn't have an integrated multimedia setup.
Screen off and lock.
Desire S • Fallout V2.0.0 • xda premium
Profile Scheduler by Wetpalm, it's smaller and drain less resources then Lama. Scheduler is based on time table - no GPS locations but is free and extremely useful for someone having a fixed day by day routine.
Display orientator is very useful. It forces anything into landscape mode......

CamScanner
TeamViewer
To this list, I would add:
AFV (Android File Verifier) - useful for verifying MD5/SHA-1 hashes of downloaded files
AIX Weather Widget - provides a great easy-to-read graph of forecasted temperature/precipitation for the next 24 hours
Network Monitor Mini - gives a customized overlay indicated current network traffic
