How about using root explorer or some such and upload here as attachment. Not on market anymore

OK Here it is
Since I used this app just a day ago and did a nandroid, I restored, found it and here you go. Attached is the apk. Goes in /data/app. I use root explorer typically. I have not tested if this will install using typical file manager click on the file. For those that install the manual method of adb or root explorer, typically reboot after the install to have it work. Also is screen shot for correct permissions. Enjoy.....

Just a reply back to all...thanks. Going to try to findo out why it was pulled from the market. It's a great app that does work well. I use powerAmp, which has an overkill equalizer, but listening with this minor plug in and it is really a nice addition, IMHO.

Facebook app for tablets

Just saw this great new app over on the xoom forums. It's made by the same guy that did Tweetcomb (the first twitter app for tablets which also rocks). Seems really great so far, and is free on the market so check it out, it's called Friend Me.

I just installed it on my TF101, got a FC about 45 seconds into it. I think I had tapped on photo albums. Nice looking app, though.

It's a 1.0 release, I'm sure all of that is coming to the works. But yeah, totally agreed. Off to a great start, I'm looking forward to the updates.

Does it support multiple logins? Seems not to. This is the biggest problem with Facebook and most other non-Google apps on the market - they all assume you are on a single-user device, a phone. A tablet is very often NOT a single user device. Me and my wife share it. There has to be some easy way to toggle between facebook accounts.
All the Google-written stuff has the ability to toggle between different accounts easily... even the market itself lets you do that.

Some problem with the app, completely froze my tab on first launch. Had to reset the device. Methinks its a problem with pictures. Anyone else faced this?

No what he is saying is a tablet is a multi person device meaning more than one person uses it so there for you need to be able to toggle accounts,I have the same issue with tablets as my kids use it but I don't want them on Facebook and I want to be able to control content they view by having different user settings for different log ons Luke you can on Windows

On another note, is does the transformer itself support multiple logins? I'm running into the same problem, when my other half is using the tablet and gets my email notification popups because it's linked to my google account.

Instapaper

I recently started using instapaper and I love it. I think there is a great need for instapaper official android app! It has an iphone official app. There are a few unofficial instapaper apps but I don't think they are comprehensive.
I used to email links to myself...I Sony do that anymore due to instapaper.
Im interested in hearing how many of you use instapaper and if you would like an official app for it.

As much as I like Instapaper, I love readitlater more and it has an official app on most platforms. Works in very much the same way.

Yea. +1 on Readitlater... it and Beautiful Widgets and XDA are the only apps I've paid for.

Thanks guys for recommending Readitlater. Just downloaded it and this is actually what I wanted. Im still trying to figure out a couple of features. How do you download an article for offline use on your cell?
Its a great app and I love it. However, I think it should have the option of creating 'new folders' to organize your bookmarks/articles. Hope this would be included in the updates.
Overall great app.

Install the applet from readitlater.com on your browser's toolbar and just click on it to save the page to your queue.

Is anybody aware of an android instapaper client that uses volume key scrolling?

use 'read it later' ...much better than instapaper.

+1 to the instapaper/readitlater client request.
not one instapaper / readitlater client has the following 3 (essential) features
-volume key scrolling
-full screen
-full sync
There is definitely a gap for a quality client here, especially if somebody integrates functionality from ebook readers (#WHY-HASNT-THIS-BEEN-DONE), such as
-touch to scroll
-glide to change font (see moon reader)
-glide to change brightness (see moon reader)
-text format options
-fixed orientation
-remember location in each article
I have to say that i am very surprised no one has made a top quality client, and no reason that it couldn't sync to either readitlater or instapaper
Dev's - on your marks, set - GO!!!!
ps the best solution i have come up with is to export my instapaper reading list to epub and read in moon reader

any news on this?

AirDroid already controls your phone from any web browser, but the latest version of the app offers more useful features, like a new "find my phone" service that pinpoints your device via GPS and complete remote control of your device's camera. :good::good: Plus, it no longer requires your phone be on the same network to connect to it.
AirDroid 2 is in private beta, but the developers dropped the invite-only requirement to download. Even though the app isn't up at Google Play, you can download the APK from the link below. If you don't have an AirDroid account, you'll be prompted to create one when you download and launch the app. The two major features: GPS location and camera control, both work seamlessly. :victory:
You have to have GPS on for the 'Find My Phone' feature to work accurately. You also no longer have to have your phone and your desktop on the same network to control it—if you pair your phone and browser by scanning a QR code, you can turn off Wi-Fi and still manage your device over 3G/4G. Yeah me too. It seems like it would be a great app, but I dont know if I trust that the dev wont have access to my phone as well since you dont have to be in the same network.
