1. nope - the only app to support the SP platform, AEBPlus, doesn't support app-specific settings
2. yes, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337602
Menneisyys i just wanted to change the Vox's QuickNotes hardware button to point to Vito Audionotes... will i be able to do it in any manner?
I don't know Vox, but usually there is a ??.lnk file (with ?? as the name of the button, or something like short_ap1.lnk), that is just a shortcut to the app.
Just edit the shortcut; I open the lnk file with vieka wordpad...

I guess you can use ftouchflo to gesture control just about anything. You just have to associate the gesture with the app you want to start.
i don't wanna start an app (thats easy enough) i wanna "press" a soft key!
thanks for your reply !
then I dunno
but when you press a softkey you'll be starting an app right? so what's the catch?
no it would be used for menu's and the like, such as when in messaging a gesture would control the menu button.

My ideia involves mortscript and ftouchflo.
Just create a mortscript that presses the softkey and then associate it to a gesture in ftouchflo.
The mortscript command to invoke the softkey is something like: SendRightSoft.
You'll find plenty of info on there two softwares around the forum
cheers will check it out!
theres a software called FtouchSL which allows soft keys to be 'pressed' using gestures, if any one is interested that is!

Due to the fact that I had the same idea than l3v5y to develop a multitouch gesture launcher based on the PenTrac approach, we decided to develop LMT together. This is our first alpha version:
LMT is able to launch and close processes with multitouch gestures. The following gestures are currently supported (see gestures.jpg in attachments):
- DoubleSquare: Close LMT
- DoubleQuestionMark: Learn mode; the following gesture will be connected to the process related to the foreground window. Next time the gesture is done, LMT will start the connected process
- DoubleLineUp: Close the current process
- DoubleLineDown: Connect e.g. to TaskFacade as a “Multitouch Taskmanager”
- DoubleLineLeft, DoubleLineRight
- DoubleArrowLeft, DoubleArrowRight
We decided to support only special multitouch gestures to not interfere with normal scrolling gestures or the HTC pinch to zoom feature. I hope someone can try our first version and give us a bug report, comments to new features, etc…

this is an awesome idea indeed...
thank you very much....I'm sure it will make life much easier to navigate through your device.

Everything is working well but i have the same problem like Frostlance. Swipe up and the device hangs.
swipe up with two fingers means "Close the current process" , so, even manila, if that one is the foreground process. But, if you use swipe up in other application, will close that one ! try with Notes, for example..

Maybe a setting for excluding apps would be fine!
Is there any video yet?

In the thread of the app. the developer says that he will implement that in a later version.
Should this work on windows mobile 6.5.5 with 3.5 framework ? (Miri 3.2)
Because i've tried to use it i see LMT in the bar but it doesn't matter wich gesture i use it doesn't open anything.
Mutlitouchdemo is 1
I do have taskmgr.exe, \windows\PenTrac.dll en LMT is running according to taskmanager.
I tried to enable logging with dword logging=1 but i can't find a log file.
I've also reinstalled LMT but can't get it to work.

Take a look at v0.2: It supports a blacklist for close and start!
it is something wrong, that is draining my battery... i have installed LMT 0.1 & task facade... usually, over nights my battery was loosing about 4-5 %. After installing these 2, last night the battery drains 15 %. Which one is going wrong - task facade or lmt ?
Who knows a better task manager for wm 6.5. I have stock rom 1.66 ita

Yeah, I've noticed. Great! In case anyone is interested. To avoid freezing on the sense screen, add "\Windows\manila.exe" to BlackListClose. To avoid freezing on the windows menu screen add "\Windows\Shell32.exe".
Works like a charm.

Considering the limited number of good gesture candidates, I suggest to allow the DoubleLineUp to be overridden, ie launch a program instead of closing a process (which can also be done by quite a lot of tools).
IMHO is necessary even a simple gesture for closing tasks, but..let's wait a new version of these two great guys, l3v5y and noname81

I don't use task facade and I have an increased battery drain, so it must be LMT. I accept that as it is an alpha version
i replaced task facade with resco taskmanager... tomorrow morning i will know if the fault was task facade.. as noname81 said, LMT has no fault..
edit: TrYde, in my case was just fault of task facade running in background.. last night from 23:43 till 8:30 when i was wake up by Klaxon, my battery loose only 4%. Yesterday i replaced task facade(over night this one drained 15% of my battery) with resco taskmanager.. so, it's not fault of LMT, maybe you have installed something else, just try to remember which is the thief
Is there any way to change the shortcut that goes to the built in task manager (long hold on the home key) to point to Advance Task Killer instead?

Just a suggestion but this may get a better response in the Q&A section.
Have you tried Launcher pro? It would help with custom icons and the Home Key action.
