I just noticed when I press on a .cab with my file explorer (resco file explorer) nothing happens, do anyone know what's causing this?

Hi,
I have a problem - File Explorer and Bluetooth Explorer does not start on my Touch Pro
Is stock ROM, no mods on it.
Had File explorer extensions, that maybe made this problem, but i've removed it, restarted and still can not run File explorer. No error is shown.
Maybe someone had the same problem?
Re-install the extension; it must've jacked up some registry keys when you installed it the first time, and now you need the extension. It doesn't take up much space, anyway.
thanks, but it started working. havent done anything. dont know how.
Very frustrating problem. My G2X has been set up exactly the way I like it. I've been using ES File Explorer for network access and it has worked flawlessly.
However, a few days ago there was a new update for ES File Explorer and since that update, file management has been weird.
1. First, using File Manager (built into CM7), when I browse to a directory images, videos, and other files are associated with ES Zip Manager (which I do not have installed). I can change the file association, but the icon for the files stay with ES Zip Manager.
2. Browsing a directory of images with File Explorer or Gallery (built into CM7) will sometimes insert an image from different directory.
3. Using Gallery, as I browse files sometimes an image will duplicate.
I have been forced to uninstall ES File Explorer, but problems #2 and #3 still exist.
I've gone into Development Tools > media Scanner, but no joy.
This is very very frustrating. I now have my media messed up and no way to access files on my network.
HELP!
ES File Explorer and other file explorers can not connect to Box.com. This bug has only Bindroid. I tried it on other Roms and everything works. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I recently rooted my Inspire and loaded CM7.2 RC1 and I was just trying to increase my download speeds by editing the build.prop file. I'm using explorer v1.1 to get to the system folder and then editing the build.prop file using the text editor. When in explorer it says r/w and I can actually edit the file and save it but it never seems to actually save the changes even though it says it did. I tried using mount/system(rw/ro) to ensure that it was actually mounted but I am getting the same result. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
ES file explorer
Hi, I use the es file explorer, when you open it up hit "menu" scroll to bottom and make sure both root settings boxes are checked, then restart app. You should be good to go.
I recommend ROM Toolbox. It has a root file explorer and many other tools which come in handy on a rooted phone.
Hey guys,
So, I f***ing HATE emojis.
Can anyone tell me if there is a keyboard out there that has NO EMOJI buttons?
or
Can anyone tell me how to remove it from SuperSwift keyboard? Like remove it completely?
Thank you!
This method requires root. And a root file manager such as ES File Explorer or Root Explorer.
1. Open file manager and navigate to /system/fonts/
2. Delete or rename the file "NotoColorEmoji.ttf"
3. Reboot.
As always though, making a nandroid backup is recommended before messing with system files
