Reminders editing - General Questions and Answers

Hi everyone.
I use appointments on the calendar quite often, as much as the alarms.
As you already know, when any reminder pops up you can postpone it just with default times: 5 minutes, 10, 15, 1 hour, 1 day.
Is there any way, probably reg editing, to change those? having a 30 minutes postpone, or whatever i'd like to have, would a hell of a helpful to me.
Thanks

anyone? that would be really something..

Tweak this value: HKCU/ControlPanel\Notifications\Reminders-snoozetime.

It looks like it doesn't really do anything..

Calendar notifications intervalls

WTF
Is there really no way i cant get them as flexible as on my online calendar?! I've my timetable in my calendar and would like to get notified one day before each lesson between 19:30-20:30 if i have something to do for it ..
So I configured my hours to notify me 4hours+when they are before e.g.:
English lesson Wednesday at 8am o clock
means 8+4 = at 20 (8pm) o clock, one day before, it will notifiy me ..
but on the G1 there is only the choice between 8, 12, 24hours in this range .. this sucks..
Is there a way for user set intervalls?? can that be cooked into a rom? is there an app for this? t.t

Alarmclock with lots of different alarmtimes

Hi!
I'm looking for a very specific type of alarm.
It might be easiest to just explain what it has to do
I want to try to get in shape, without going with crazy diets etc. Problem is, I don't always have that much commitment and I don't always follow through with schemes.
I'd like to have an alarmclock that reminds me on the following times:
-Getting up;
-Breakfast;
-Snack (about 11 AM);
-Lunch;
-Snack (about 15 PM);
-Dinner;
Also every other day for jogging and 1 in every 3 days to warn me to do my workout.
Yeah, I could just program the alarm over and over or just stop whining and get to it, but I think this will help me
So do you know an alarm that you can set for a lot of different times (preferably with differences each day?). I guess I'm looking for an alarmclock like the one the HD2 already has, only with more "slots".
Thanks so much
ps. I know it can be achieved with the agenda option, but I still prefer the alarmclock
Hi,
You could buy CradleAlarm (which I use) for about £4.50, can set heaps of alarms on it. You can also set different tones for each alarm too. It is available from Windows Marketplace.

why don't you just set an appointement in outlook, a series, which goes on day by day and reminds you every day at the same time?
thats how i remind myself at different things like football or so

Wait a minute. So your saying we should use something that already came on the phone for what it was intended for? Why I've... I've never heard of such a thing! Why that's... that's... GENIUS!
Seriously, I've often thought I've needed more then the three alarms that came on the phone and never once thought about using the calendar. I R an IDIOT!

No seriously...thanks for the suggestions I will look into them
freeware Klaxon supports multiple alarms as well
SPB Time is a real cool looking app that you can setup multiple alarms, count-down timers and stop-watch.
And its VERY touch friendly.

[Q] Jogging/Running App Request

Yes I know, noob here. I've looked in all the threads I can find and on the marketplace but I just can't seem to find the app I want for running (like the Running Room).
Basic premise is an Analog Clock face where you could mark the time you want to take (ie, 45min, 30min, 25min, etc) on a run and then mark multiple spots where you want an action to take place. ie, run for 3 minutes then walk for 1 min, or run for 2 and walk 2, or 1/1 etc and have different notification sounds possible for each that would not interfear with your musicplayer (ie, you can hear it but it wouldn't crash it or close it etc).
I know this is probally the wrong spot but I am unable to post in the right spot as I am 'noob'. I'm really surprised the Running Room or Garmin don't have an app like this as this is how their running works, in stages with walk breaks in between. Not really looking for gps, pedemeter etc just the basics, clock face and the ability to mark diff color points with notification sounds and to set time spent running (or infinite, just set #/# interval).
Anybody know of an app like this or have the ability to code one, the last coding I did was c64 with visual basic so I'm......lacking.....lol
Thank you,
Steve (WarrGrinn/Deathstalker/Thor 911)
Anyone?, Bueller.....
Sigh, bumpity....
Have you looked into Endomondo?
Not sure it is can do everything you're looking for
Adidas makes a nice app... Thinks it's called adidas micoach. It's free. Maybe it will work for your needs..

Thank you, Yes I've looked and the Adidas one, havn't really gotten too deep into it, more just want a 'click and play' type app where there is just the options I need without alot of extra's or accounts etc. I love the 'minimal' apps that xda members have made (clock, text , etc.) and was hoping for something as simple. Ah well, few more posts and I can post in another forum I guess
Could you elaborate a bit more, describe some details?
What is the problem with the other running apps, they can't all require rocket science to use?
I'm always looking for ideas for new apps...
If there is nothing already there that fits that purpose, i might be willing to invest some hours .

Sorry it took so long for a response, kinda lazy here
I'm looking for a general 'clock' app, analog clock dial face with touch-points all around the dial, inner circle is seconds, outer circle is minutes. Ability to set a specific time for a run (ex, 45 min) and then divide that time into run/rest periods (ie, 5min run, then 1 min rest) along the dial and even have differing periods in the run (ie, after fourth run of 5 min a 3 min rest then 8 min run, etc).
Would like ability to set notification sounds (pick sound/s) for each 'event' along the run that inturrupt music/etc the phone is playing but not crash/stop it.
If it takes off advance stuff like compass/gps etc can be added but I'm just looking for a glorified stopwatch (analog style, like the old huge clocks that had tabs you could slide around for laps and times etc at the pool or gym) so I don't have to hog my mothers 'Garman' running sattelite watch, lol.

Specific calendar requirements

Hi all,
Lots of threads on calendars out there but none address what I'm after.
Very specifically, I want an app/widget that allows me to show the next 7 days of my calendar graphically (note, next seven days not current week like some do) on my homescreen. I want it to be large enough that I can easily read the events on each day without having to click anything. It must not have any creepy permissions like some calendars I've looked at.
It seems so simple to me but none of the calendar things I've looked at so far let me do this!
The aCalendar widget comes close but the writing within each day is too small to read and it does current week not next seven days (ie if you are at the end of the week it shows the six previous days which is not useful!). The default calendar widget is pretty slick but it only shows the agenda as text, I can't just look and instantly see that a certain event is x amount of days from now. I've tried lots of others too but either they can't do what I want or I just haven't figured out how.
Yep so let me know if there is anything you might think will suit me. I don't mind paying if its reeeally good.
Thanks in advance.
