Xda mini Now DEad!!! Somebody Pls Help here

Hi All
I have received a Mini O2 XDA for language change from German to English. Going through the Forums I finally got downloded English Rom.After updating the Phone started to vibrate continously.Now the phone refuses to switch on.When I connect the USB cable ,only red light is seen on the earphone part. I cannot flash also with any other version as the USB does not detects the Phone.
Pls somebody give me a detailed explanation on how to revive the Phone.

Try to get it into Bootloader: press power & camera & softreset all together & wait till the screen reads 'serial v1.xx'. No backlight so hard to read. If this works, connect usb & flash again with an exe file.
Doesn't sound any good that red led, did you charge it fully?

I can now get into Boot mode and can read USB V1.02.But sir can you pls tell me where can I download the compatible ROM version .

Battery is fully Charged.

Thank you very much for your solution.Now I can switch on the phone and everything seems to be working perfect. Only one thing when that I have loaded phone rom with i-mate.IS there a way I can load O2 Rom or pls give link where I can download O2 XDA II mini ROM.

Take a look overhere ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/Extended_Roms/ it contains several O2 branding ext-roms in different languages. Just put the desired cab-files on your storage card & execute them to install. Might be that you want to hard-reset first & skip the I-mate ext-rom from executing by a soft-reset just after the initialization ended (press screen to begin using your device).

Please Help! My JAMin is dead!

help... i downloaded smart1's (normal, not clean) update, and launched UPGRADE_ROM.DAT from PC... it said initializing and everything... and then it reached to "copying something.dll' ... i waited 10 minutes or so then i got something like:
"error cant copy ....... because connection closed from remote... something like that."
i did NOT touch the imate during the process
and now when i turn on my imate i get the HTC with white background for a second but then it freezes on the blue "i-mate" screen... displaying:
IPL 2.13.0001
SPL 2.13.0001
GSM 02.20.21
OS 10.1.0.811
when i connect it to pc, windows does recognise and install my device but ActiveSync doesnt connect.
i tried removing the battery then putting it back in then pressing and holding the conn. button along with the power button and i DO get to the bootloader screen (with three colors) and then when i plug in the usb i get a small 'usb' word at the bottom of the screen, but still, ActiveSync doesnt connect... i tried installing the update again... but the program doesnt find my device
how can i make it work again ??? plz help me

Now you need to find a rom that will install from bootloader mode and not an update........

Just BEWARE that the rom you download is for your phone, it will be for a G3 or a G4, if you get it wrong, your phone is DEAD.

Same problem for me, but I solved today:
I connected the phone to pc in bootloader mode, the pc see the phone and says ppc usb sync, but the activesync not started.
I tried to install a qtek official rom by dangaard (you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/it/?d=4ELWL078 ) and I solded the problem !

Same problem!
I had same problem but in my case with downgrade from WM6 to ASERG rom, i have downloaded RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe and that fixed my problem.

Orange SPV M600 (HTC Prophet) Stuck in Bootloader

Guys,
I wonder if you can help. I have trawled this and many other forums and found many people that are having problems with their HTC Prophet or variations of the same device.
I have the Orange SPV M600, it was in my pocket and when I took it out to turn it on, it was displaying the bootloader screen after seemingly soft resetting itself. It is displaying the tri-colour bootloader with the following IPL/SPL
- IPL 2.10.0001 - SPL 2.10.0001
I have tried the following things that I have found in the forums:
1. Taking the battery out for 10 minutes ~ Still the same.
2. Hard Reset ~ I get the "Press SEND button to factory restore" message
but nothing happens when I push the call button.
3. Reflashing the ROM ~ I am unable to do this. I only have Vista and
WMDC does not see the phone in bootloader mode.
Is the phone dead? If so how could this have happened?
If anyone could help I would be eternally greatful. Oh and to add another complication the phone is still CID Locked

well if you where is south africa i would of helped you im sure if you have it runing on xp it will work my jamin did the same and all i did was push the camera button and reseted it got into tri colour mode and reflashed it

did you ever get this sorted out ? Surely all you're gonna need is a PC with XP and active sync....
If I was closer you could have sent the phone to me and I would have had a go at reflashing the rom, but I'm at the other end of the country....

guyz i have a jamin.. my cousin was flashin it and flashed the wrong software.. if i reset the phone it shows the boat loader screen!! and i cnat do anythin..caz u tell me which slftware to flash..and how to do it?? My freind told me all solution to my problem's will be solved here

First of all, download the NVID (no vender) AKU2.2 from here. http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe
Then, open activesync, select connection settings and UNCHECK the connect through USB option.
Then run the NVID file. It will take a while, and may seem to get stuck at 80% or 95%. Just leave it alone.
When that's done, you can either use it as it is, or load anyother ROM you want.

First get a version of ActiveSync, any will do, but more recent is probably better. Then download the ROM (see above). In ActiveSync>Connection Settings uncheck the Connect through USB option. Then connect the Prophet.
Next Unzip the NVID file, and run RUU_PROPHET... This will flash your Prophet with a very basic ROM. If you then want to upgrade to a different ROM follow these steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452

i have an spv m600 work fine, i send to it an application after install , it reboots, and it shows the boot screen orange+ windows mobile,
i try many times soft and hard reset , now it shows only bootloader mode and some IPL 2.10.0001 SPL 2.10.0001 . chip is G4 ,
i search to flash it with new rom ,
i ask about compatibility of roms , if i can update with wm6? and some links if ready , or how to make please .

You must first, SIM unlock the device. here
Then you must HardSPL your device here
Then, you can choose which ROM to use. See here

1.Determine do you have G3 or G4 (when softreset G3 shows on screen: SPL .000 or .0000 and G4 .001 or .0001 - YOUR IS G4
2. Download and install ActiveSync 4.5 (Microsoft web page)
3. Download ROM (my suggestion PVTemp) and unzip somewhere on desktop
4. If your device is locked unlock it using lokiwiz
5. Connect device to PC ( running WIN XP suggested) and sign as a GUEST
6. Disconnect and go to bootloader mode -pres COMM button and after that soft reset with pen, relise pen in few seconds and your screen should show RGB colors. DEVICE BATTERY MUST BE ABOVE 50%!
7. Connect your PDA on PC (it will show USB on screen, down left)
8. Go to directorx and run ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe (if its G4) or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe (if its G3)
9. Follow instrucions on PC screen
10. After some time (10min) PDA should finish and do a restart-it usualy stuck on 0% and 85%, but dont panic and wait, it sould continue!!
11. Enjoy new ROM!

I'm Indonesian. My Device is XDA II Mini. A few weeks ago I have upgrade the ROM to 2.03 TX WWE, used it for about week. A problem appear when I tried to downgrade the ROM to the original one from seeo2.com site the PC tell the error 150 (I think its about the connection).
when I read this forum, i know the many people have the same problem with me.. and still not found yet the solution for solving this problem.
With this situation I made this new thread to share our problem in this thread. Its about the history from ROM 2.03 TX WWE, about the maker of this ROM and for the warning massage for anyone who wish to write this ROM to their device so they will think 100 times to use this ROM.
Lets join this thread and hope there be a nice guy who can solve our problem.

I have the same problem with my magician. I flashed so many times some ROMs on my Magician before without any problems. But since I flashed the 2.03TX ROM, there is no way to flash any ROM. I also can't reflash the 2.03TX ROM. It always says, that there is an Connection Error.
I tried to flash with the official Setup and also with the No_ID.exe, but there is no chance to do something.
The 2.03TX is a very nice Rom, but i want to use the programm "Phone Extender" on my Magician and it doesen't run with 2.03TX...
Please help us someone, I want an other Rom on my Magician!

Solution is to enter to the bootloader mode somehow and downgrade to original not bigstorage rom and than flash new cotula rom.
If you can't enter to the bootloader mode with power+camera+reset buttons try to hold longer or rapidly press power+camera and then press reset a few times. I'm succeeded finaly...

to bootloader mode mean screen with serial or usb status ... my problem is I try more rom but any flash I don't have original rom ... what I do?

Mine keeps reseting everytime it should go into the bootloader screen.
I can force it, but then the update wont continue anymore.
How did you do it?

Here's what I did step-by-step:
- Recharge the battery to at least 70% in a electric charger (not connected to the PC).
- Go into bootloader (press the power button +camera button without releasing and click the tiny little hole on the right bottom side of the device, next to the audio entrance).
- The screen goes black, that's normal, with the help of a bright light you can see its written on the screen "SERIAL" and "V1.02" (or something similar).
- Go into Active Sync on XP (or Windows Mobile Device Center on Vista) and uncheck the option "Allow USB Connections".
- Connect your pocket pc to the PC usb (its still in the bootloader screen, right?).
On Vista (I think XP can skip this step)--------------->
- Go to Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services and start the services "windows mobile device connectivity" and "windows mobile device 2003 connectivity", its they are already running thats ok.
- Now go to Control Panel > System > Device manager, find your mobile device and force the update of the driver attached here.
- Now, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc for Taskmanager and kill "WMDC.exe".
------------------------------------------------------------------->
- Download this rom (46mb): http://rapidshare.com/files/18876133/NL_11300_131_11200.exe (its in english WWE)...
- With Winrar, extract that EXE into a folder.
- Copy the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe attached here into that folder, with the rest of the files.
- Run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe.
- If all goes well the update will take a loooong time and pass thru three install bars, that's normal.
- After that it recommends a Hard-reset (Power button + reset at the same time).
Now your rom is official, and you should have no more problems.
