Bootloader start and after power off

I've made these operations on my G4 prophet:
after to have CID unlocked the phone, I've tried to install an official italian ROM (a very good choice ), but I've trusted the man that sold me the phone.
Now powering on the phone normally, it shows the splash screen (HTC innovation) and after it power off
if start in bootloader mode (CAMERA + POWER) it shows the three colour display and IPL and SPL version (both 2.18.0001 )and after about 1 second, before to show USB enabling, it power off;
if I try an hard reset (CAMERA + COMM + POWER) it has same behaviour like in bootloader mode;
if I connect USB cable, it resets continuosly ...
Can somebody help me?

how are you cid unlocked? with a buyed tool? or some free issue?

I've cid unlocked the phone with an IMEI based paid tool

I don't know if I can resume my prophet so ...
do you have a sd image rom backup (complete of IPL and SPL) for G4 model or do you know where to download it ?

first thing, thank you for your help,
I will try this evening the suggested solution, but the problem is that I can't access the phone via usb.
I've erroneously upgraded the prophet (the upgrade process terminated with success) with a k-jam rom without backup before the running rom image on SD.
I'll let you know.

Nothing to do, Ihave full charged the battery phone but I 'm not able to access it via USB so that I cannot execute any upgrade by this way. Nobody has a G4 backup available on SD to try the restore?

Orange SPV M600 (HTC Prophet) Stuck in Bootloader

Guys,
I wonder if you can help. I have trawled this and many other forums and found many people that are having problems with their HTC Prophet or variations of the same device.
I have the Orange SPV M600, it was in my pocket and when I took it out to turn it on, it was displaying the bootloader screen after seemingly soft resetting itself. It is displaying the tri-colour bootloader with the following IPL/SPL
- IPL 2.10.0001 - SPL 2.10.0001
I have tried the following things that I have found in the forums:
1. Taking the battery out for 10 minutes ~ Still the same.
2. Hard Reset ~ I get the "Press SEND button to factory restore" message
but nothing happens when I push the call button.
3. Reflashing the ROM ~ I am unable to do this. I only have Vista and
WMDC does not see the phone in bootloader mode.
Is the phone dead? If so how could this have happened?
If anyone could help I would be eternally greatful. Oh and to add another complication the phone is still CID Locked

well if you where is south africa i would of helped you im sure if you have it runing on xp it will work my jamin did the same and all i did was push the camera button and reseted it got into tri colour mode and reflashed it

did you ever get this sorted out ? Surely all you're gonna need is a PC with XP and active sync....
If I was closer you could have sent the phone to me and I would have had a go at reflashing the rom, but I'm at the other end of the country....

guyz i have a jamin.. my cousin was flashin it and flashed the wrong software.. if i reset the phone it shows the boat loader screen!! and i cnat do anythin..caz u tell me which slftware to flash..and how to do it?? My freind told me all solution to my problem's will be solved here

First of all, download the NVID (no vender) AKU2.2 from here. http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe
Then, open activesync, select connection settings and UNCHECK the connect through USB option.
Then run the NVID file. It will take a while, and may seem to get stuck at 80% or 95%. Just leave it alone.
When that's done, you can either use it as it is, or load anyother ROM you want.

First get a version of ActiveSync, any will do, but more recent is probably better. Then download the ROM (see above). In ActiveSync>Connection Settings uncheck the Connect through USB option. Then connect the Prophet.
Next Unzip the NVID file, and run RUU_PROPHET... This will flash your Prophet with a very basic ROM. If you then want to upgrade to a different ROM follow these steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452

10. Now the device is CID unlocked. Users have to flash to favorite ROM. Don't use the device with this ROM. It' s purpose is for CID unlocking only. It cannot be really used.

I read some forum but i don't read the same problem I've.
I've a imate jamin. Last sunday I installed a new rom made by Franlov (WM6.1 Clear). First i make a hardspl and installed the new rom. Well.
After i need install the original rom, but the problem now is:
Jamin KO.
Three color display and the red numbers:
IPL 2.13
SPL 2.13.0001
If I execute a romupdateutility G3, i've a error 300, invalid tool.
If I execute a romudateutility G4, i don't have error but i've the same display (three colors, etc)
I can't make a hardspl because the jamin doesn't run and msdos display says "any device connect".
CAn you help me?
I read it's possible downgrade ipl and spl making a force spl but the program i don't know if exist for jamin or s200.

I have the same problem! I cannot active sync as it does not connect to the device. So I cannot flash.

We tried but can not find solution!

Hi guys..im a newbie..been there myself...Wat u need to do is download the wm5 original rom from http://www.v-dog.net/XDA/PVTemp.zip & unzip it to sum location of ur pc then connect ur device & wen the 3 color screen comes run the RUU Utility G4... Thats it ...u'll be back to WM5

We tried! The problem is that active sync as it does not connect to the device.That is the big problem ....

1. go to my guide, download PVtemp first ~~~~
2, force the prophet to bootloader mode, (how to? see my thread)
3. plug back to USB ( rear PC USB port please...)
4. if you see the "USB" on the left bottom Prophet screen, YOU ARE DONE!!!!
5. Flash PVtemp NOW .... delay is bad~~~~

have you tried to Hard Reset the unit after flashing to WM6.1?
You can try it by pressing CAMERA + COMM Button + Reset Button (for 3 seconds)

problem IMATE JASJAR

How can I fix this problem, the phone does not want to enter into arrangements Booth, the problem is a program StorageManager, then it does not want to load win mobile, hard reset and give accordingly pressed 0, the phone off and nothing there, it even laptop recognized, please advice on what to do in this case, how to put it in standby Booth, so I can reinstall it.

problem is solved, I found the right combination of buttons, then came into phone mode flash, now works perfectly

please help!!! O2 XDA Exec - CANT OPEN
lm still in the official o2 rom wm5, but last week, l hv try to install a file "Xda_Exec_Upgrade_v1.30.162" through my computer (window 7), when i installing the file , l saw my xda exec's sceen is freeze!!!!! so l just unplug the usb cable through my computer, and soft reset my xda exec, but a worse thing happen. when it it start loading is freeze at the o2 screen with 3 line word at right down corner - ( R 1.09.00 ) , ( G 42.42.P8 ) , ( D 1.30.107 WWE ). And so strange, when l charge my exec there is no light showing, when l remove the battery the light is showing red. l hv put my battery to my friend exec it work!!!
so please help!!!!

2. when remove battery, and then put it back and charge, the o2 screen come out immediately. without touch any button????? and no light showing.

@ jeffeu : put your universal (exec) in bootloader then try to flashing (install) it again.
and do not forget to read xda-wiki -- universal (our device).

Try to activate bootloader and from there to flash, I have a problem with the Win Seven and flash only XP
