my work on my hd2 is almost done
still trying to change the htc bar icons (no suc6 yet)
and i want a setting changed in the phone
when in the phone menu, selct contacts tehn in the bottom bar the 3th from the left is groups
i use qiute a few groups
when i selct a group
the default setting is group message and mail
i want this to open the contacts in the group by default
is this possible ???????
and second the default vieuw of contacts is lastname / first name , i like this the otherway around
how to do this ?????

Go to Start then Settings then in the Personal tab select Sounfs and Notifications. In the Notifications tab, select "Messaging: New text message", then select your favourite tone.

change in regedit your ringer folder to storage & put there any media u want, choose and enjoy
Thanks i find it but why are the rings deffrent in text massages they are limmited only a view. How to add them to be the some like in the phone ring tunes?

i installed a new language on my wm6 where the language pack has overridden the default sms application, in other word once am in the inbox and click menu >> new sms then the default sms application does not appear instead the sms application that comes with the language pack appears, shall i set a registry key ??
I have HTC touch, and I downloaded an application, called pocketcm. I like this apps very much. I want to change the menu bar (bottom), so that instead of contacts, I can put in pocketcm app.

is anyone aware if there is a way to modify the way the icons and their targets when in the landscape mode (when the keyboard is open)?
in short, i installed a theme: prior to installing the theme, the "messaging" icon used to open 'all messages/inbox' (bringing up the list of messages in inbox) and since installing your theme the "messaging" icon now opens up 'create new sms'.
also, same deal, when selecting the "contacts" icon, it used to show my contacts list, and now when i select it, it opens up 'create new contact'

U know how u can assign ur facebook pics as contact pics..and when a random number calls u, it of coarse has the default contact icon..well how do u change that default icon to a pic u have?... I used root browser from rom toolbox and went to system, app, contact.apk and then dialer contact dark holo... Well it only gives me the option to extract or extract to, but I don't know how to change the pic
Or unless this has to be donewith a computer
