How do I create shortcuts in WM6? I've figured out how to create shortcuts to standard programs (ie: \program files\googlemaps\googlemaps.exe), but how do I create short cuts to "built-in" apps that don't really have an .exe? For Example, how do I create a shortcut to text messaging? or (more importantly) how do I create a shortcut to the "programs" folder or the "settings" folder?

try searching list of .lnk in the development and hacking forum. you'll be able to find almost every system shortcut!
i installed a new language on my wm6 where the language pack has overridden the default sms application, in other word once am in the inbox and click menu >> new sms then the default sms application does not appear instead the sms application that comes with the language pack appears, shall i set a registry key ??
Hi! I cleaned the HOME a lot editing manila files so I only left the clock and date/alarm lines to see more of the background picture). But I cant find the manila pictures for this 2 icons: missed calls and calendar.
Someone know them ?
PS: If someone is interested.To remove the texts "missed calls" and "calendar" I edited file 590ad244_manila in notepad. Even if no text can be seen, if I miss a call, it appears there. So it only remove the text where thera are no missed calls.No functionality is lost.
my work on my hd2 is almost done
still trying to change the htc bar icons (no suc6 yet)
and i want a setting changed in the phone
when in the phone menu, selct contacts tehn in the bottom bar the 3th from the left is groups
i use qiute a few groups
when i selct a group
the default setting is group message and mail
i want this to open the contacts in the group by default
is this possible ???????
and second the default vieuw of contacts is lastname / first name , i like this the otherway around

Hi All,
I have HTC HD2 with WM7 OS.
I try to set different ring tone on my contacts.
I go to People-->I select my contact-->Edit-->ringtone
the system shows me it's own default ringtones only.
I have put my ringtones (*.mp3, *.wma with duration less than 30sec) into
Windows folder (the location of default ringtones) even into my storage card/my documents/my ringtones, but on ring tone selection I cannot see any of them.
Does anyone configure it?
