Keep WIFI in standby

Hi
Sometimes I need to download some bigger file, I'm using wifi and download manager to do that, but when my phone goes standby wifi turn off and downloading stops. I've already read about some possible tweak for that. Anybody already do it on Touch2 wm 6.5?

You can try that:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms
HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended=0 - you must change it to 1 and soft-reset your phone.

hey guys m new to htc touch2 ...so help me out .....
Recently I have downloaded chome editor and m unable to find - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE option where i can edit it so plz guide me ...

has anyone found where this folder is on the omnia 2 i8000?
i can get as far as HKLM/Comm, but then no more

Download Resco Tools, Resco's Registry Editor is good. Google & install. Then do the changes in Registry

Greetings, just want to ask is there a cab for this, or an app (on/off)? for some non-techie, so as not to dig into the registry, or easily accessible and even can put in program list..

Try my app "WiFiStayAlive" (no install, just copy the file wherever you want on your touch2 and simply launch it)

Can not find possibility to control the bike...

is this the same version that was taken from gtrabs rom dump months ago?

Disable Accelerometer in the Game settings menu and touch and drag the bike to steer.....

yes it is... its the same "updated" version that has been floating around for a while... the only difference from original xtrakt seems to be nicer menus.

Doh..... Apologies...... I wasn't aware there were 2 versions??? or an update to the original???

No what he means is that this is the updated version we already knew about, its not an update of the update.

Guys - Apologies if this "is" old news as I was only aware of the original Xtrakt game as I'm sure many others may have been too and I'm not exactly new at this (Doh....!) This particular .cab has just appeared (in the last few days) on some of the Xperia forums..... Forgive my impatience in posting and wanting to share what I thought was a new version....
I'm sure many members will still make use of the download link in the 1st post....

It gives you the option but no matter what you select it installs on device mem.
Theres a simple trick to get round this though:
1.Install it
2. Copy the xtrakt folder from program files to your storage card
3. uninstall it
4. run it from the copied folder

I'm not having a good day at all today.... I hadn't even noticed (until now) that it had installed in the main memory.... Sigh...... Thanks for the solution though....

camera button with HTC'keyboard

The camera button don't work if you're using the htc's keyboard.
I developed a small program to fix it.
Instructions:
- rename \OEM\OEMDrivers\Camera.exe in Camera_ste.exe
- rename \OEM\OEMDrivers\Camera.exe.0xxx.mui in Camera_ste.exe.0xxx.mui
- copy this Camera.exe in \OEM\OEMDrivers\
- cook your rom

there is another camera.exe that disables the camera from creating a folder for each day, can you add that patch into your executable aswell?
i don't know if anyone really wants the folder feature?

hey stefano, I cooked with a 21898 build and I cannot open the camera with this exe I got this message ; "this file cannot be opened. either it is not signed..."etc do you know why? with a 23551 it works great

I do not know why you receive that message.
You can try installing the ".NET Compact Framework 3.5" to see if it works

mmh already installed, but there is also srs wow hd which doesn't work (no sound at all) it's maybe related to one thing in 21898...don't know

[HACK] Working Windows 98 + 95 EN on Nexus One Update!

1. install APK from archive

EDIT: I've tried several times to install windows xp to bochs and qemu... the big problem is not the VMHEAP in build.prop ..
windows xp setup crashes with an video error. and if i copy a qemu pre installed image to sdcard, it shows me an acpi error!!

Win 95 (russian) booted in qemu in about 30 sec (i believe my 386 was much slower), 640x480 1:1 by default, mouse and basic keyboard works

So finally tried it. This is pretty sick (in a geeky sort of way). Funniest thing I've had happen yet: forgot to properly shut down Windows. Next time I launched I saw the old school scandisk window verifying my files. I laughed, I shed a tear of joy, my coworkers think I'm crazy now.

Is there any way to change the language to English?

does this work on a motorolla XOOM wifi/ 3g android 3.2?
I've been trying this for 2 days now but i can not get this thing to work. I've been searching for my old installation disk and found it. So that can not be the problem. After startup i can configure the controls, but after that it get stuck on the save screen and gives a force close.
Can someone please explain me what i'm doing wrong here?

So did you install it on your windows box then make sure that every file and folder is lowercase then copy them from your c:\ to your mem card?
