Is it possible to check my mails and feeds automatically in stand-by mode?
It is very annoying for me,that i didnt find a solution yet.

Use WifiNoStandby (in my signature) and it will stop your wifi switching off when you're in standby.

i tried several apps but they do not have worked.
another problem is that any notification /e.g sound does not work too.

The notification sound should be okay - I've never experienced that not working. It's a known issue that the LED doesn't work for emails, but that's the only problem I'm aware of.
What ROM are you using, because I know some custom ROMs have problems with wifi staying on in standby.

Glad you got it working mate.
Yes, the battery will obviously drain quicker, and it is noticable too, but if you're using a lot of wifi then you have to expect it.
The weather used to only update for me when I went to the weather tab, but since upgrading to a 1.66 based ROM it's been better.
I don't know what the xannytech ROM you're using is based on. If it's a big deal to you to have the weather updated then you'll probably need to try some other ROMs.

I don't personally know or use scheduling apps, but I know there plenty out there. Try searching in the themes & apps forum for something like that, or maybe a plain old google.
As for coreplayer not working when the screen's off, as far as I'm aware that's standard functionality and there's nothing you can do about it.

Couldn't find a fault anywhere, because some widgets were missing. Like the People/Fave widget, and the camera doesn't work which is really no one's fault. Hopefully we get a working camera soon.

camera works fine
it garbles for a second and the preview is black and white but the picture turns out fine
just loaded it up again to test this out
ROM is perfect but I really miss People/Fav widget...

I'm using from three days..in the first time the phone freeze after some time because not enough free memory, after i turn on compcache in the application voice menu and turn on autokill. Now it's ok.
When i'm using the browser, opening a flash site the browser close itself.
Drain the battery very quickly, from 100% at 8:00am to 53% at now 1:53 PM, gps turned off, only gsm, wifi on connected. No call no sms no nothing only in standby.
Setting only the GSM network, when I restart the phone automatically returns to GSM / UMTS

yea there are issues and yes same release but with minor tweaks
I am looking into hero roms as they have some nice sense/ espresso builds
when i get a litle better at porting we will have one based on a different release D
Does this work for the G1 or MT3G??

Anyone else find the auto backlight adjustment crap (CM9 - but also every other rom)?
It either does nothing, or varies wildly even though light levels aren't changing.
Also anyone know how to send phone into quiet mode after midnight? sick of getting woken up at 2am every night by emails

Auto backlight works fine on turkeyrom i had roms before where it didnt.

about anoyng mail notification - before u go to sleep go to setting and deactivate sync of google accounts - sweet dreams
About lightening u can just set the amount of light that u want on settings if you dont get used to cm9 auto blacklight

Using a ROM like CyanogenMod will enable you to completely customize it. If you take some time, you can get it to work perfectly.

That sounds like bug in rom. Check your dispaly/display/touch key displey dration. you might have always on selected. Good luck

Have the newest radio 2.31, with a stock rom 4.0.4 sense 4.1 and at the moment when i put off the screen (wifi) i try to send me messages for whatsapp but dont arrive nothing, the notifications only arrives when i put on the screen.. And i try all, going to settings tryng always ON when is on deep sleep, never, only carging(this works if you are charging and notifications works) , try with smart sync disabler and i dont know what to do.
I dont need to wait any time, just put off the screen and noting nothing arrives
Help, anybody here¿?:crying:
EDIT:Was trying with advance wifi lock, but this dont allow to the phone to put in deep sleep mode , its like put in wifi settings the "better wifi no?" and the battery flyes..

wow.. There's no a script that fix this? or an app that let the wifi on in deep sleep mode? I am trying all type of things, wipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions.. Apk's, trying reeboting, removing the wifi cover..Factory reset and nothing works.. Maybe reinstalling the radio? There's some people that dont have any issues with the wifi, and i dont explain that
In VIPERS Rom there is a tweak to disable HTC SMARTSYNC (prevent wifi/data from disabling at night). See if it helps!
UPDATE: Seems like you already tried it! Aren't there specific settings in the app for notifications? try the fusion kernel it states about resolving HTC wifi disable issue! My phone's wifi reception greatly improved with the kernel!

I try that with the smart sync disabler APK, but doesnt works.. And that happens to me at anytime, 3.00 pM- am 9 am or pm .. 24 hours 7 weeks

IT WORKS! And the multitasking its MUCH BETTER! Now i have my perfect phone lol, i am with the rom juredroid 2.0 and works perfectly, notifications are PERFECT in all and the multitask perfect, better battery and thanks, really thank you very much, i was searching for fix the notifications, better battery and the multitask and i have solved all in one

this release works only with proximity sensors,this is a minimal version of our application,but the next update (will need a least 1 month) will works even without proximity sensors and it will contain a new function (sense lock screen with full weather animations that will looks 100% like the stock sense lockScreen,this will be the first real sense lockScreen),so please keep an eye on our thread.

You have little translation errors (Préférences-->Preferences; secondes -->seconds)
Can you reduce the sensibility? If your pocket isn't very tight, your phone can be unlocked and cause problems.
There is a lag if you are using the CPU Governors Smartass and InteractiveX. I think you can't fix this, but would be better if you put a notice about this potential problem.
Tested on Gingerbread 2.3.7 (Xperia X8, custom kernel).
Testing now, will use throughout tomorrow and provide feedback in the evening. Really great idea for an app.

So, tested it on my Galaxy Nexus (Maguro/GSM, CM10 Stable). At the moment it seems to be a bit unstable, no FC, but sometimes it doesn't really work.
The first time I switched it on, my home button couldn't bring me to the home screen, just flickered and still on the screen of the app. Only back button or app switcher worked.
Would be nice if you put a option (yes/no) for a notification icon on the status bar.
Is it possible to use the proximity sensor for switching on again or does it drain battery too much?
By the way, if you need translations, I could offer German
EDIT: Tested app version seems to be version 1.0 as shown in the app info. Please add a version number to your downloads and somewhere in the app for easier comparison. And as always, if it is not to much effort for you, please upload also to Google Play, so all installations get your updates quickly.
Works very responsively. A few transityion errors for me and the shake to unlock is a little off.
Tested on HTC One S S4 4.0.3 ICS
Initial use is great. I like the idea of being able to pull phone out and unlocking without any input from me. Check what I'm after and replace in pocket, and locking again with out any input from the user.
Things I will be watching the next few days are unwanted wake ups and battery drain.
Would like to see this stick after rebooting. As it is now, you must start service with every reboot.

home key should unlock screen only when the phone is out of you pocket,is it?
(when the phone is covered ,screen should go off again)

it is normal that CPU Governors(Smartass) causes problems, the low frequency while screen off can cause such problems
"If your pocket isn't very tight, your phone can be unlocked and cause problems." ==> it should work with ~5 centimeters of height,this is related to the proximity sensor's limitation(but i think it is enough)

The app works flawlessly, but at a point it is too much. I, sometimes rest my finger over the sensor when using the phone in landscape, and it turns the screen off.
(Search on where the sensor stays on Sony Xperia S).
I know it is a beta testing now, but both the UI and the icons need an update.
In summary: Works flawlessly; the idea with it is a no go for me and my phone; UI and icons needs update.

I just wanted to know if anybody has a solution for the problem that Wifi not staying connected in sleep mode. So i get the whatsapp notifications not until i unlock the screen,but then immediately.

i try it but i think it´s only to fix the problem with the night mode. my wifi sleeps just after a few seconds when display is locked. some apps like "advanced wifi lock" fix the problem.but my battery... that´s why i ask for another method to solve my issue

this is my problem for 2month TOO
i cant find answer and everyone in around say your phone and htc is a bad brand and ...
so i can't answer for which reason this happend

I'm just going to try out lowest screen brightness & never turn off screen and after that the advanced wifi lock & etting you know which works better on battery life. Tho im sure advanced wifi lock tops the other method.

Still seems that advanced wifi lock is best solution right now. When i get 100% charge level i shall try how fast it drains the battery
But the question is why only a few phones have this problem and why a app like advanced wifi lock can fix the problem???????
Mysterious! I tried out different custom roms and radios and the problem was always the same.
Maybe one of the developers of a custom rom can help?
I have a similar issue but its my WiFi hotspot that stops broadcasting signal when screen is off
