Check Mail / Feed with Wlan automatically

Is it possible to check my mails and feeds automatically in stand-by mode?
It is very annoying for me,that i didnt find a solution yet.

Use WifiNoStandby (in my signature) and it will stop your wifi switching off when you're in standby.

it does not work for me
i tried several apps but they do not have worked.
another problem is that any notification /e.g sound does not work too.

The notification sound should be okay - I've never experienced that not working. It's a known issue that the LED doesn't work for emails, but that's the only problem I'm aware of.
What ROM are you using, because I know some custom ROMs have problems with wifi staying on in standby.

i have tried it ones more and it works!
does continous wlan on drain the battery strong?
using xannytech pandora1.5
the weather doesnt update itself - annoying - how is it by u?

Glad you got it working mate.
Yes, the battery will obviously drain quicker, and it is noticable too, but if you're using a lot of wifi then you have to expect it.
The weather used to only update for me when I went to the weather tab, but since upgrading to a 1.66 based ROM it's been better.
I don't know what the xannytech ROM you're using is based on. If it's a big deal to you to have the weather updated then you'll probably need to try some other ROMs.

another problem is coreplayer..
now wifi is working on stand-by but i cannot listen to radio and power off the screen

I don't personally know or use scheduling apps, but I know there plenty out there. Try searching in the themes & apps forum for something like that, or maybe a plain old google.
As for coreplayer not working when the screen's off, as far as I'm aware that's standard functionality and there's nothing you can do about it.

Ongoing Wi-Fi problem

Hello their guys!
I'm just wondering if anyone would have a fix for my Wi-Fi problem;
I've posted about this problem before but didn't seem to find a fix for it..
When connecting to Wi-Fi, and having my phone off charge, downloading something, turning screen off, my download absolutely halts - though when I'm connected to Wi-Fi with my phone charging, everything is fine when downloading with the screen off...
Does anyone know what are some possible problems and solutions to fix this?
When using sense roms, this problem does not occur, when using AOSP roms, it occurs...
I've tried using SebastianFM, bricked, faux - all the same!
The current ROM I am using is AndroidRevolta 1.0.2.

That's because you have your WiFi set to sleep when screen is off go into wifi settings and click the menu go into advance and you can change the settings to your choice and your set and if you have exstended quick settings pull down and you may see the icon that will say screen on sometimes I use it when I'm downloading app's

Have the newest radio 2.31, with a stock rom 4.0.4 sense 4.1 and at the moment when i put off the screen (wifi) i try to send me messages for whatsapp but dont arrive nothing, the notifications only arrives when i put on the screen.. And i try all, going to settings tryng always ON when is on deep sleep, never, only carging(this works if you are charging and notifications works) , try with smart sync disabler and i dont know what to do.
I dont need to wait any time, just put off the screen and noting nothing arrives
Help, anybody here¿?:crying:
EDIT:Was trying with advance wifi lock, but this dont allow to the phone to put in deep sleep mode , its like put in wifi settings the "better wifi no?" and the battery flyes..

Sorry dude it's a known issue. I've got it too and it really sucks. No excuse that HTC hasn't fixed it yet.

wow.. There's no a script that fix this? or an app that let the wifi on in deep sleep mode? I am trying all type of things, wipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions.. Apk's, trying reeboting, removing the wifi cover..Factory reset and nothing works.. Maybe reinstalling the radio? There's some people that dont have any issues with the wifi, and i dont explain that

In VIPERS Rom there is a tweak to disable HTC SMARTSYNC (prevent wifi/data from disabling at night). See if it helps!
UPDATE: Seems like you already tried it! Aren't there specific settings in the app for notifications? try the fusion kernel it states about resolving HTC wifi disable issue! My phone's wifi reception greatly improved with the kernel!

I try that with the smart sync disabler APK, but doesnt works.. And that happens to me at anytime, 3.00 pM- am 9 am or pm .. 24 hours 7 weeks

IT WORKS! And the multitasking its MUCH BETTER! Now i have my perfect phone lol, i am with the rom juredroid 2.0 and works perfectly, notifications are PERFECT in all and the multitask perfect, better battery and thanks, really thank you very much, i was searching for fix the notifications, better battery and the multitask and i have solved all in one

I know this is probably only 1 setting but I can't find it.
What I ment was that when I'm connected to a WiFi I'll only get messages from Whatsapp for example when I'm turning
on the screen for about 3 seconds.
Is this an energyoption ? Didn't found anything till yet.

Have you got stamina mode on? That mode stops the data communication while the screen is off.

Your English is better than my Spielergesprechan.
Go to the battery manager, then scroll down until you see Whatsapp (for example), and ensure you don't have `restrict background data` set for it.

In WiFi advanced settings there is an option to set if you want WiFi always on, or always on if connected to charger or off with screen off. I'm guessing its set to turn off with screen off.

Guess this was my mistake, it was set to "None ( Higher Datavolume )"

Nevermind, even with this Setting it doesn't work..
I could record my screen ( for example if I get a mail or sth ) and show it to you if needed
The messages only arrive if I unlock it.
I'm an IT-Specialist so I think I'm not that dumb :|
I really don't get what's the problem :s
Anyone else experiencing this ?

Did you try a full data reset? Maybe something got corrupted.

I don't want to go that far - I'm not thinkink this is a solution :/

Turn off WiFi power savings in advanced and see if it helps....and keep WiFi to always on.

Got the solution. I had some other energysettings on.
For example: I had WLAN-Energyoptions turned on while my Stamina-Mode was off.
Or my stamina Mode was on and my WLAn-Energyoptinos were off.
Ridiculous..
My problem is solved now! Thanks for all your help.

Question Miui Optimization bug

So I turned off Miui Optimization because I wanted the always on display to always been on (apparently if you disabled Miui Optimization, it wouldn't turn off after 10 seconds). It worked, but I lost some things like the haptic vibration or the Gaussian blur of the interface. I need help, I enabled Miui Optimization again but it didn't fix it (I restarted my cellphone more than 5 times). I don't know what to do and I'm not able to find a solution.

Y completely did. Trust me, I did everything; I also check for similar bugs on YouTube and it didn't work. Suddenly I just woke up and it started working again... I'm not understanding, but we'll. Anyways, thanks!

Did you able to find the solution for this issue? I got this issue two times and everytime I had to reset. Funny thing is that there was also a dark mode glitch as well. Although, everything gets normal while charging the phone... Seriously, MIUI is annoying as hell.

Yeah, I was able to find a solution for it. I suffered the same thing you have, phone was back to normal when I plugged the cable to charge it. I installed an app called "Hidden Settings (if you search it on the play store as "Hidden Settings Miui" it'll appear on there). Open the app and go to "hidden" at the bottom of the interface, then search for the battery options and its gonna be one of those 4 options.
In my case, the problem was with the second battery option. It was enabled and I had to disable it, then it started working like nothing happened.
I hope you can fix it, if you need help just answer this saying it.

Thank you so much for replying and your help buddy. I had to reset everytime because of that bug and eventually decided not to turn off MIUI optimizations. BTW Did it work while MIUI optimization was off?

tbh I didn't try it with the Miui optimization off, but I think that if you disable the battery optimizations I told you before; it should work fine even with Miui optimization turned off. You can try it, you do know how to fix those "bugs" if they happen again so you'll not lose anything.
