ActiveSync for Win CE - General Topics

Hello all. Hopefully this is the proper place to ask this.
I'm in search of ActiveSync for a Windows CE device that does not have it. Would anyone be able to point me to a .cab file to download or a way to extract it from another device? The device in question is a GPS unit with Windows CE that is being modified. The problem is that ActiveSync isn't on it so it can't be networked over USB.

What's the brand of your GPS unit? Most of this GPS devices cannot sync

Rightway RW400. I'm actually helping someone else for this.

I have no idea, I've searched before and never found anything. Maybe try a network drive or similar

Blackberry Connect on Samsung i320

Hi Guys,
I know that the i320 isn't an HTC device, but I have sucessfully managed to get blackberry connect up and running on my Wizard and my work is hopefully about to supply me with an i320.
I realise that it's a smartphone and not a PPC, but I believe that there is some interoperablity between the two in WM5.
So my question is, will I be able to use the BB Connect that I use on my Wizard (downloaded from the ftp site) on the i320 or does anyone know of any varients for the smartphone platform?
Cheers!
anyone?
Even a little guidancee would be good! Thanks!
If you find a solution, let us all know
We are talking about this on the S620 aka Dash SP forum as well. We know that a SP client came out for WM 2003 in South Africa on the Vodacom network, but we haven't see one since. Where oh where, if at all, is the WM5 for Smartphone BB Connect client?
Here is the original BB Connect cab file for WM 2003
It would only install on a Moto MPx220 device running WM 2003 and gave a uncertified device error when I tried it on any other device. Any programmers out there want to give it a shot and change the cab file so it does not require a particular device to install on?
This one installs. I couldn't get it to work on my MPx200 w/ 2003.

Help: Need cab file for gamepad for PPC

I wasn't sure if this was only a forum for phones or all WM devices but I have an ipaq hx2755 that no longer can connect with activesync and I have tried everything. Does anybody know how to create a cab file for the gamepad software so I can use this again with my WM5 ipaq? Only way I can get things installed/re-installed is through copying to storage cards.
Any help or pointing in the right direction for this is much appreciated.

Bluetooth on Wince

I've a CEPC x86 system in which I am successfully able to download the WinCE 6 plaform that I created using Visual Studio 2005 from my Xp system. I've enabled bluetooth on this CE platform. Now I want to Understand which dll does the CE os invoke first, when I plug in USB Bluetooth2.0 Dongle. I want to Know is there any way in which I can debug those dlls to know how does the control flow inside them and what actually happens? I am really curious and excited about this. Any clue from anybody would be of great help for me.
Please help...!!
Thanks anyways...

[Q] ipaq hx4700 bluetooth

hey guys, im really sorry but i dont know where to post this first. so i'll just start here.
im after some info or/and advice about my ipaq hx4700. now i know this model is pretty outdated... but i like it .
now my problem is that some of the software i am trying to use only works with Microsoft bluetooth stack.. but the ipaq hx4700 comes with built in Widcomm drivers. is there anyway that the widcomm drivers can be replaced with the microsoft ones? i understand there may be conflicts along the way,but is it possible? maybe via editing registry? or if not... are there any apps/software/drivers to mimic the microsft bt stack? maybe progrmmed visual studio??
ive tried every rom i could get my hands on.. from windows mobile 03/05/06/6.1/6.5 most of them are 'cooked' roms, but still wrong divers. good OS tho. i have read a few pages on 't'internet' where ppl have replaced micosoft drivers with the widcomm drivers via registry + installing the DLL files, but im not sure on how to reverse the situation with the appropriate drivers. i can do this operation in Windows XP but not really familier with CE. ive also read that you can extract the ROM and change part of the OEM section, then rebuild and flash. i have all the software and hardware for such operations, but for some reason i cannot extract any of the ROMs :/
Any help or advice would be really great.
Thanks.
