Am i the only here who dislikes having dark colored themes??
i mean the very few out so far are great but just not my type i like bright colors and am still holding out until one comes out but just wondering if theres others like me who prefer Bright Colors over Dark colors???
Lol I figured this would happen, mostly every theme has been complete monotone, I was surprised to see some even go as far as washing out the colors from the icons - I mean that is just too far, it looks rather yucky lol
I love Manup's Nextheme. I enjoy it much more than the Stock colors. Its great that some of the stock widgets have a translucent background rather than the solid black. I'm not a fan of wild colors, especially since his theme goes so well with the phone!
I can't say the same for that black and white with the colorless icons, bad taste IMO.

Can someone talented in photoshop make me a stock styled sunburst rosie? I am looking for a yellowish light red flare. I am having a difficult time in ps and it is pissing me off lol... I would like it to have a mid level opacity. I have a few bucks to throw at who ever can get me a nice graphic.
what do you mean by "sunburst"?
Like yellow with a red splotch. Or even a tinted yellow would be fine.

It seems like there are alot of people who go through great lengths to make their Droid X either have as little blur as possible or make it look like there is no blur.
Well, I genuinely love blur. But I hate this ugly blue. When I first got this phone, I loved the combination of red with black gradients. It completely fit the personality of Droid X. Now with Gingerbread, I can't help but think about toothpaste, Lysterine, and other hygiene products, thanks to the hideous light blue touches. At least make it a darker blue! Geez, Motorola.
anyway, I love the theme that stock Blur 2.2 (FroYo) looks like, can anyone please make a metamorph of that for stock. 595 Gingerbread. It would be greatly areciated. Thank you
I am currently trying my hand at creating a CM7 Theme Chooser theme with a rainforest feel. What I'm not sure is whether I should make it greenish and design it like a bright and colorful forest in the daytime or make it blue and cast it as a night sort of feel.
I'll probably end up doing both at some point, but which should be done first? Blue is overwhelmingly the most popular color for visual overhauls so I'm inclined to make it that, but for a nature theme it seems like green would be more appropriate. So I figured I'd just see what would be more popular.
How about blue and green, too much of one color sucks, idk I think both are nature colors too
Both could be rad if done well. It's hard to pick without seeing them
hey guys, I'm about to buy a new Z3, but i'm confused about colors,
I really like the white one, but I'm afraid that wallpapers will make a conflict with the white color of the phone , I mean the white bezels of the phone in the white version, will I face color mismatching with 'em among different situations/wallpapers.
so is that right ? if any of you have the white one please tell me about your visual experience,
opinions, people !
Find a white wallpaper that you like. Mess with white balancr in the display settings until you find the most neutral white. Personally I think xperia z3 is far too blue, and given that the blue pixel is the most important in preserving the whiteness of the screen, I find it best to preserve the blue pixel as much as possible. Which is why I turn the red balance almost all the way up and the green balance somewhere around halfway, until I find it's balanced to my liking. This way you get a softer and purer white, whilst retaining the life of the blue pixels. And if you find the right balance, you'll find it also matches your case. Do it indoors in a naturally well lit room, without a room light or lamp. Hope this helps.

ahem, up!
There are plenty of wallpapers out there. Just get the one what fits your color. White is the best as you wont notice any fingerprints where as black is a fingerprint magnet.
Just wondering if anyone else hates the way 8.1 tints the screen or completely changes the UI color based on how dark/light your wallpapers is?
I wouldn't mind the dark tint so much if it wasn't such a drastic difference going from your home screen to the settings, Google Now or even swiping down and getting white notifications. It clashes very badly, at least in my opinion. Some of the wallpapers even tint the screen an odd color (first two example pics). It's just a weird design choice. Maybe it's just me though. I've never had such a hard time picking a wallpaper... lol
I attached a picture with some examples.
Anyone else care to chime in?

I'm with you man. Like dark wallpapers, but also love the white UI
Don't like this change at all.

Hate the tinting, make it stop!
It's lazy, idiotic and disgusting. And we're stuck with it, with no hope of anything improving in Android P.
This is annoying, especially because of Now Playing album artwork as background feature, because the tint is STILL the wallpaper color! Best solution I've found is to use dark/black backgrounds - then the tint is merely dimming.

Wallpaper colour based Tints are gone in Android P DP4. It's back to a nice, normal, Black Tint throughout.
Thought i'd share the good news.
@ForeverZ3RO
Does anyone know what version of 8.1 gets rid of the screen tinting. For the pixel 2 its the July patch I believe.
