I have a HTC Dash and im interested in the 3VOLUTION SERIES ROM. I downloaded and ran HARDSPL app. And now downloaded the latest version of the ROM.
Im confused where to go from there. The instruction say just run the ROMupdateutility. But i dont see the option to flash the ROM i downloaded. Do i have to put the file in specific area?
You unzip the file to your PC and run Auto

Hi, I just went through all the steps for unlocking and flashing ROM on the Wizard wiki. I got all the way through just fine until it came time to find a wm6 ROM. Every one i download is in .rar format and will not unzip properly, i tried using winRAR and such, but my computer wont run them for installation. What do i do?

what do you mean? are you using winrar to open the package and flash from inside the compressed archive??? you have to decompress it first. Rightclick; extract to "rom.rar" ; and a new folder should appear on your desktop. only then you can run the utility.
If your problem is the upgrade utility is telling you that you need a new versiion, then you are probably not completely unlocked. try "wizard service tool" to unlock.
could some one just post a step by step process on how to flash new ROM?

after downloading winRAR the files unziped just fine. I just was not running the right program. I got it to work and am posting this from my wizard right now! thanks guys!
Hello All,
Im new to the Forums I had a question wondering if someone can help. I rooted my nexus one and I have several roms. I used a Windows PC to root my phone and also to download my roms (zipped files), Now I have mac 10.6.1 and I have downloaded some roms then I compress them into zip files. And everytime I try go into recovery and try to unzip the rom that I downloaded from my mac it never takes it. But if I do the same procedure with my PC I can load the rom. Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong.
I have searched everywhere on here! cannot find answer specific to my problem. I am trying to replace my rom I previously flashed with a new rom with a nbh file. I dropped the file into the topaz custom ruu folder and proceded to flash. However it comes up with the error "update utility cannot open requested file", I am new to this and not very savy when it comes to files....can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can fix it??!
If im using winrar it automatically unzips right? All the roms i download dont actually have a zip file... When I put the files on the sd card and try and load from bootscreen nothing is availible. Thanks for any help. Evo, no roms yet, rooted, rom mananger (tried)
just got burnt rom to work fine... but guess i dont know which link for the most part to download
For some reason I can't get my Polaris to run the latest Android version (i.e. Froyo).
1. Downloaded latest kernel polaimg-panel3-240x320-2.6.32-froyo-09-09-10_21.nbh)
2. Downloaded last build (Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS10)
3. Put last build (.tar or .tgz file) on SD card in directory /andboot
4. Flashed by using NBH file together with RUU Update Utility
Now it gets tricky:
when the system reboots, vibrates twice, I see a text rolls a few lines and stops at
usb_function_register. can somebody help.

I changed the .nbh file to "polaimg-panel3-240x320-2.6.32-froyo-02-09-10_16"
and now it stops at a different line.see attached photo

NBH file is use when on the three colored screen.
Seems you doesn't have blank screen, that is work, but you need to flash your radio first, or else the installation will not continue, refer to the guide:

I did exactly what the guide says. I have installed hard spl and the last radio, but nothing different with the results
