hey guys.
i know S.E X2 is not manufactured by HTC unlike the X1 but i'm curious to know if there is going to be "XDA support for X2"
if the answer is yes then i'm glad! (since i'm planning to buy the X2 with the answers to my question)
if somehow "no", no xda support for x2.
well, it cant be helped now cant it?
but here's what i want to know. basically the X2 and X1 has the same processor and the ram although different versions of the same os. also the two of them have different drivers but...does that mean.
hardspl and roms used on x1 can be ported to x2?
although...apps will be workable (which everyone knows)
anyhow, help me out guys!

Well, you can open a thread under Android, as others do under General, Upgrading... etc, etc... but perhaps no one will support/help you.
I think that this answer is "softer", don't you think?
there are other places like modaco for omnia which rocks so probably there would be some place for android also. And i am sure there will be place for galaxy on modaco.com, so dont worry.
don't forget ... more android devices will come and android develepers will change the phones. And then? They must leave this forum and share the new developments in other forums?

As long as they are manufactured by HTC, such devices will have a place here, even with Android
If not there are plenty of android sites around the web
why there is a Sony Ericsson X1 phone on the site?
You said only HTC made phone can be in this site then how come there is Sony Ericsson X1 in the site and we cant have Samsung i7500 in the site???

Because this an HTC forum, and only supports phones made by HTC. Only the X1 was was made for SE by HTC. The X2 and X3 were not.

Custom roms are better then normal android roms/update, if you notice your phone would go slow time to time ots because the actual android rom has too many directories and reg. So if I was you stop looking for updates and get a custom rom. Just saying sir

I know the Nokia E7 isn't for sale yet (at least here in Netherlands), but I have a general question about Nokia phones before I buy the E7. I would like to take the answer to this question in consideration.
Is it possible to flash the phone with a custom Rom like do with my HTC Touch pro (or any other WM phone)? I tried to search for a xda like site for nokia (symbian), but couldn't find any. When I look at the phones on this website I don't see any Nokia. So please if anybody can help me....
