XDA will support Sony Ericsson X3? Why not support X2 but only X1?

X1 was made by HTC, the others are not.

Because this an HTC forum, and only supports phones made by HTC. Only the X1 was was made for SE by HTC. The X2 and X3 were not.

I notice a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 section has opened. If xda dev is not strictly limited to HTC anymore then is there any chance of a TG01 section?
The reason there is a Sony Ericcson Experia X1 section is because it was manufactured by HTC. This is still and HTC only forum, and all devices, including the Treo 650 and Treo Pro, are HTC made. However, PiLoT, one of the mods here at XDA, runs a site for non-HTC devices here: WinMoDevs.com

i know S.E X2 is not manufactured by HTC unlike the X1 but i'm curious to know if there is going to be "XDA support for X2"
if the answer is yes then i'm glad! (since i'm planning to buy the X2 with the answers to my question)
if somehow "no", no xda support for x2.

but here's what i want to know. basically the X2 and X1 has the same processor and the ram although different versions of the same os. also the two of them have different drivers but...does that mean.
hardspl and roms used on x1 can be ported to x2?
although...apps will be workable (which everyone knows)
