Phone Service stopped working - Touch Cruise General

The Phone Service in my touch cruise has stopped working. It says on the home screen that there is "no service" the dialing pad and contacts are unavailable.
I have tried restting the phone taking out the battery and the sim card and nothing works.

Syncronization is also not working, when I connect it soon gives me an error and stops. But there is no error message and there is no cause provided for the error.

Hard-reset, if it still won't work, try another SIM card (for example, from someone else), or try yours in a different phone, to make sure it's not a SIM/network issue. If still no luck - it's a hardware problem.

Yes hard resetting worked. Since I did the hard reset I decided to uograde the ROM. I tried doing it but After I initiate the process the screen on the phone goes into the rainbow colors and then it seems to loose connection with the PC, then it gives me an error 260 saying not connected. Could this be a Windows 7 issue? Should I try the upgrade under Vista? (what I have a t work)

error 260 is a connection error according to the readme which comes with most roms. Is your phone synced with active sync before flashing. Also try putting your phone in bootloader screen "press the camera button and reset" and try flasing your rom then.
Also disable antivirus it sometimes stops flashing.

Yes it was synced before flashing, when I start the process it goes into bootload screen and then I hear the sound like when you unplug and replug an USB device. So it seems it drops the connection when it goes into the bootloader screen.

Error [260] Connection

So I am trying to play with my new tilt for the first time, and after lots of reading I began to try. I am starting with POF's Hard Spl package, and I am stuck with that. I followed all of the instructions precisely, but when I get to the RUU screen, it says to connect PDA phone to the USB cable, and establish an Active Sync connection. Well it won't establish an ActiveSync connection now...and if I just check the box, I get the ERROR [260] Connection message, and it says to hit esc to finish. Then the phone is just stuck on the tricolor screen, and only thing I can do is reset.
So....now what? I have tried to google and xda search this problem, I saw one person with the same problem, but then posted back a little while later saying he resolved the issue, but didn't say how...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Yes. Use another computer.. or disable your firewall or de-activate your AntiVirus program. You have some sort of conflict in the drivers. It happened to me and the only it worked for me is when I switched to another PC to do the upload.
I will have to try it out on my laptop when I get up...but I have no firewall enabled, and no anti-virus running. But if this is a driver issue, then I don't see how those 2 things would come into play?
So, switching to my laptop worked, thank you for that. I have sucessfully installed Dutty's v3 rom, but now it seems my battery depletion is on a downward spiral. It has gone down 10% in less than 10 mins, and it is just sitting on the table, nothing running.
Any ideas on that?
Also is there anything else after the rom install that I should add/do? I
have seen a few different posts about radios...not sure will keep looking lol...
Thanks again,
Michael
I had the Error [260] Connection issue at some point in the beginning of flash process.
Changing to a different usb-port in my laptop solved it to me.

Touch Pro constantly soft resetting itself (3 Aust)

Hi Guys,
I've been an owner of a Three-branded HTC Touch Pro in Australia for over a year now, with no major issues with it except for the multitude of WM bugs and lagginess I've grown to accept.
A year ago I loaded SPB Mobile Shell and I have a couple of other apps but not many that I use frequently. The phone is mainly used for calls, messaging, syncing with my Outlook calendar and contacts, and browsing the internet
A day ago the phone began behaving very strangely, with no rational explanation as to the trigger or cause.
The phone has begun randomly and frequently soft resetting itself. This can occur when I'm in the middle of writing a text message, on a call, or browsing the internet (or whilst doing anything else, really). The phone will go blank, the vibrator will vibrate once, then the 'Touch Pro' logo welcome logo will be displayed as it reboots.
The phone will then either:
(A) wait for me to enter my PIN
or
(B) go straight past the PIN screen through to the home screen
If I do not enter my PIN after this (either at the PIN screen or by invoking the PIN screen by selecting the Phone app), the soft-resetting issue doesn't occur. However, this leaves me with a useless brick, unconnected to any networks.
So I have to enter my PIN and then wait for the device to mysteriously and randomly soft reset itself at some point soon. Extremely frustrating.
Interestingly, I've found that the soft resetting issue doesn't occur when the device is plugged into the mains power or to a computer.
Today I upgraded the ROM to the latest available on the 3 website, and then installed the latest version of Mobile Shell 3.5. However the issue still persists...
I've now managed to disable the PIN request so that when the soft resetting occurs, the phone is automatically reconnected to the network but I'm not sure what sort of never ending loop of resetting this will create!!
Any clues???
So as a follow-up to this issue, my phone appears to have mysteriously fixed itself.
It is no longer resetting itself... or at least I haven't witnessed it reset itself.
Could anyone provide a potential analysis of what's going on??

Things like this happen for a few reasons, A bad flash, Corrupt blocks in the memory, and even if the device gets too hot, if it happens again i suggest you use a tty program like mtty of putty to format your device before flashing a new rom

HELP!!! Fuze won't load up!!

I have the Energy ROM on my Fuze. It was working fine today until I restarted it.
I get an error message saying "The file 'autoshortcut' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"
Once I check "ok", the phone is unable to open anything of use.
The screen has the upper and lower task bars, and background, but none of the touchflow or clock show up.
I try reflashing the ROM but the phone is unable to connect.
I do not know what to do. Please help.
FIXED!!!
After turning the phone on and off MANY times, it finally got to the dialer before loading the touchflow. I was able to sync a connection finally and reflash. Thanks anyways!
Please delete
Re-flashing doesn't accomplish anything that a hard reset wouldn't have fixed. Also, if you flash off your sd card, you don't need to get a pc connection (although you will need a card reader).

HTC Fuze purchased on eBay-Exiting bootloader

Hey guys, I purchased a locked HTC Fuze from eBay, and I was using Olipro's unlocker to unlock it, however I got stuck in bootloader mode before step three somehow. I cant get the phone to run activesync either.
Initial Screen:
"RAPH 110
SPL-1.90. OliNex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC- Raph STAGE_CUT x0x36
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Serial"
After I hold the volume down + enter + Soft Reset with the stylus
"This operation will delete all of your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press volup to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel"
I pressed volup then it says "Restory.... waiting to be completed" once it finishes it says press volup to boot. Then it goes back to the initial screen which says
"RAPH 110
SPL-1.90. OliNex
MicroP-Raph (LED) v13
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v5
PSOC- Raph STAGE_CUT x0x36
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Serial"
Did i manage to corrupt the ROM? Any help will be appreciated, I have been researching this problem for hours
You should flash a stock rom with a usb connection. It should fix your problem. You have hard spl, and your bootloader is good to go, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I had a bad radio flash a few weeks ago (corruption on my sd card seemed to cause it), and I was stuck in the same spot you are. A quick flash of a stock rom fixed it. Just look up the stock ATT rom and give it a go. You'll be fine. Then flash whatever you want.
To get the usb connection to work, open up active sync on your pc, and under connection settings make sure the 'allow usb connections' box is unchecked.
Alright, on the bottom of the screen it now says "USB" because its plugged into the cable. But im running vista, and I cant get the Fuze to show up on the Windows Mobile Center.
Hey Farmer Ted, Thanks for the help man. It is greatly appreciated, I found a ROM over here.

Great Website guys. Im off to unlock and flash to 6.5 now. Haha.
I'm having the same issues as the OP. I've got the exact same error issues, and I also cannot connect to active sync. I have a Mac, so I had to borrow someone's PC. They have Vista, and I downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center, but I'm unable to connect via USB. I unchecked Allow USB connections, but is there anything else that should/shouldn't be checked as well? The options are:
Allow connections to one of the following: COM1, COM2, Bluetooth. (Default setting had it checked and set to Bluetooth.)
This computer is connected to: Work Network, Internet, Automatic (default)
Allow automatic device authentication (checked)
Allow data connections on device when connected to PC (unchecked)
Khoyifish, how did you get it to show up?

I think my phone is hard bricked! PLS HELP!

I have a totally stock phone, i.e. no root no flashing. From about a week ago my phone had a weird problem of automatically rebooting, also getting popups like google play services has stopped. Same messages came yesterday so i switched off my phone and when i tried to turn it on, it just wont turn on. It is not charging too and i'm sure it is not taking any power to charge or at least give a sign of life. Then i tried connecting it to computer, and in Devices and printer section computer shows unspecified device. It shows it for few seconds then wont and after few seconds it shows it again, and this process keeps repeating.
So if any one knows what can i do to solve this problem, please help!
Any help would be appreciated!
