I beg your pardon if I post this thread at the wrong place. I have paired up the Holux bluetooth receiver with my Universal. I can't this GPS receiver work with the MapKing 2007 program. Under the external GPS setting what program port should I use as the Holux bluetooth receiver show serial port when paired. Thanks for any kind soul that can shed some light on this.
You need to create a COM port in Bluetooth settings for Holux first, then set it in your GPS program.
Don't touch the "External GPS" settings, the WM's program port is extremely buggy. If you want to launch many GPS applications at once use GPSGate

I managed to get it working. Thanks a lot.

I've never tried these, but you could use GPSGate.

Is it possible to use the integrated GPS in the Topaz as an external bluetooth GPS device for a laptop or an iPod Touch 2G?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that.
Unfortunately the iPod Touch cannot utilise a BT GPS unit! Hopefully some kind developer over that way will put something together
Hi everyone
I was wondering if it's possible to use a WM GPS phone as an external bluetooth GPS device for another WM phone?
I just got a WM phone without GPS built in and before I buy an external GPS device, I'd like to test the navigation possibilities, using one of my other wm phones with built in GPS as a BT GPS device.
Thanks for your attention
Not possible? :-(
Hi, I own an HTC UNIVERSAL with windows mobile 5.0 original rom and I use to play on it tomtom navigator using an external gps via bluetooth. I would like to know if it is possible to connect also an handsfree so I can answer calling meanwhile driving. Is it possible or it made conflict?
Thanks in advance
I used to have a HTC Wizard and used it with Bluetooth Carkit and GPS Mouse at the same time. It was also running WM5.0, so your Universal should be able to do it also!
Thank you...I will buy an handsfree then.
