Does anyone got some ideas?

I've never tried these, but you could use GPSGate.

XDA2 + Falcom NAVI 1 GPS receiver problems in communication

I have bought a Falcom Navi 1 BT GPS receiver to use with my xda2 (O2 rom 1.72.187) and Destinator 3. I have also downloaded the Dell axim bt patch and have set it to COM 0. When opening the Destinator sometimes the GPS is found, but most of the times it is not! The receiver is correctly set in the Destinator program at com 0. Anyone had this sort of problems before?
BTW, I have also tried the old Bluetooth tools as well with no result.
please help.
GPS Gate
Hi I have experienced the same problems with Falcom Navi 1 BT GPS and HandyMap 2004. My solution was GPSGate from www.franson.biz
Hope this helps

Kind regards
GPSGate didn't work either. Also tried the pocket bluetooth tools, but this sets the bt gps at com7 which Destinator does not see. Any more ideas guys?
I can strongly reccomend upgrading to WM2005 it works like a charm

Bluetooth Tools JAM compatibility?

I just got my JAM and the MS Stack doesn't work with my Audi MMI System BT. The PDA2K Widcomm stack 1.1 did, but not the JAM. I can partner but no functionality.
Has anyone tried using the MDA II/XDA II BT Tools that helped that devices MS BT Stack with the JAM?
I love the JAM, but the MS Stack has so little menu functions.
yes it works perfect for me ... the same functions in xda2
Having quite same problems with Nokia carkit, after pairing connection dies quickly and doesn't work. Under BT devices menu "set as hands-free" is grayed out and also using bluetooth tools doesn't make difference, the connection screen just disappears quickly when pairing so can't change profile, maybe it's due incompability...
Don't know if it's possible to change BT stack but at the moment this thing sucks...
GPS Navman 4410 on Qtek S100
Sounds like the same problem I have with my GPS-connection (Subject GPS)
Could someone post the Bluetooth Tools file? I can't find it anywhere on my system or on the web.
thanks

Thanks kha!
Tools doesn't work well on my JAM!
Hi!
I´ve tested the Pocket Bluetooth Tools as well, but it doesn´t worked on my MDA compact (German ROM). When the software was installed, the BT doesnt work anymore.
My special problem is with the Royaltek RBT 3000 and the download of the tracks to the pda. Each time i try this, the connection breaks after 200 waypoints approx. The normal use with the navigation software like TomTom works well.
Looking for a solution.

BT GPS not working...HELP!!!

Hi, i just bought a Bluetooth GPS receiver (called BT-R500). I am wanted to use it with my Qtek 2020 (ROM 1.66.04ITA if this can be useful to somebody for helping me out...)!
I can't let them "communicate"...why? Anybody knows what i should do for the setting (which COM port should i use? it says com5 but can't find any satellite...)!!!
Is there somebody that had this kinda proble and solved it? Could you be so kind to let me know? thanks
When you bond the gps it should ask if you wish to use it as serial device. What software are you using and what are the settings you have applied? Have you tried a free 3rd party testing program to see if you are getting connection/signal?
I am using "Mapsonic", that requires a GPS that supports the NMEA signals 2.0. My GPS bluetooth receiver meets NMEA 2.2 requirements. This might be a problem in your opinion? I have not tried to use it with a 3rd party, just because i don't know anyone that has a GPS on his palm.

can you actually paired in the first place? or just unable to detect the satelites?

Maybe you should check the baude rate of the GPS device. I am using SysOn and had the same problem. You may also need to check if you are using the old rom or the new WMSE. For the old one, you should install bluetooth tools.
Alternatively, you can try GPS Tuner as it has an auto search function for the devices to communicate.
i have the same problem with holux 231 BT
i have the 1.72 wwe it work fine in com 5 the navigon reconize him but i have a motorola car kit he can't work with the MSbtooth i must install Bt tools to pair it but in the same time i loose the connection for the GPS

What type of GPS does the 2125 support?

I just came across a Cingular 2125 running Windows Mobile v6.1 being used on ATT Wireless network here in the states, An upgrade from my Nokia 6085. I would like to make it GPS Enabled even if I have to purchase a Bluetooth GPS Receiver (since I cant get my BT353 USB GPS Receiver work.)
Most all of the BlueTooth GPS Receivers I see use the Serial Port Profile (SPP) and I cant tell for sure but from what I read and can tell the 2125 doesnt support this Bluetooth Profile.
Yet alot of wesite I see including the ATT website says the 2125 supports external bluetooth gps receivers. Says 2125 is compatible with ATT Navigator with use of a BT-359C via SPP so im confused.
Can I used GPS Navigating software on the 2125 running WM5? And if so What GPS Reciever can I use. I was hoping to be able to use my BR-353 but not sure were to find usb driver that will work under WM5. The ones provided from usglobalsat are only for PPC and not WM6.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks,
SomeGuy
Anyone?
Just want to make sure that if I purchase a Bluetooth GPS Receiver it will work. Any recommendations on any paticular gps receiver?
SomeGuy
:BUMP:
Will a Bluetooth GPS that supports SPP profile work with the Cingular 2125?
Please Please!
I've used both of the Dell Bluetooth GPS units. One is the BT309 and I'm not sure the number of the newer model. I don't see why any Bluetooth GPS wouldn't work. Just select it and add a serial port for the connection. Then point whatever software you have to it. I'm using TomTom 5.2 which I guess is the last version for smartphone. I read somewhere that you could also run TomTom 6 (PPC version) but I can't figure out how (unless you use a ppc rom?).

VOX + GPS Bluetooth

i have a vox with WM 6.1 clean rom and i want to install a gps software to work with a bluetooth gps receiver... what software do you use?? i see that the tomtom is impossible to use but i know theres also the garmin mobile and the navigon...
theres anyone who use this software?? it's simple to install??
thank you
Hi,
I use Route 66, very good software.
You can try Sygic McGuider, it's a new app, and seems to be a good alternative.
If you want TomTom, you can, with fakecursor (cursor emulator).
Bye.
can you suggest a good reciver that is not that expensive?
I took a Blumax receiver... cheap and it works with Route 66.
Route 66 will sometimes disconnect from the receiver while calculating the route, I just reset the receiver (takes all of 5 seconds) and it works again.
