Hi! I have two new HTC magic, and one of them has normal vibrator, but the other vibrates too loud, like buzzing bumblebee) And sometimes it vibrates so loud, that I could hardly hear the ring melody). listening, I can hear that my first MAGIC (wich vibrates silently) vibrates more intensive, with greater frequency, than the other one.
SO QUESTION IS: how to increase the frequency of vibrator???
Thnks

When you have your speaker volume very high and play a video, does the back of your nexus 5 vibrate to the sound? Mine seems to vibrate across the whole back.
Thank you.
sounds generally do make things vibrate, since it travels in waves.

Okay, I guess this is normal then. Thanks for the reply.
See if it vibrates a lot and abnormally loud so that you could even hear a rattling then you should call up Google, they most probably will ask you to do a factory reset. But in case it's low then its normal.
Yesterday I bought a second hand N5 phone and I can't hear much when dialing other persons. The sound is too low...someone around here with same problem and maybe a fix? Thanks.
You have to be very precise with the placing of the ear speaker because it is round, it is easily covered by your ear, making it seem quiet.
Please use descriptive thread titles. If you want help, you will get more help if you change your title.

Hi,
You can try this: [MOD][GUIDE][4.4.2] Headphone, Speaker and In-call Volume Boost for the Nexus 5.
Hi *,
I've two Problems with my Razr HD (XT925):
The vibration doesn't work correct, meaning it's fading in and out. Every time the phone is not vibrating and i shake it, it vibrates again for next couple of minutes until it fades out again. So i think it's a hardware problem. I've tested several roms and it's always the same effect, so i suppose that it's not a software bug.
The other problem i have is the speaker of the phone. Whenever i talk to somebody i have trouble in understanding the other person, because the speaker sounds kind of tinny, like the whole case of the phone is vibrating. Changing the volume of the speaker won't help.
Do you have any ideas how to fix these problems?
Okay so I ran into this REALLY weird issue with my call speaker yesterday
Yesterday, when I got home I placed my phone next to my keyboard and forgot about it after a while. When I wasn't behind the computer, someone called me but phone stopped ringing after 2-3 seconds (Possibly they had wrong number) BUT right after the phone stopped ringing, the call speaker began to emit a high pitched noise. I grabbed the phone and tried to stop it by taking out the battery. I also found out that the frequency of the high pitched noise changed every time I moved my phone just a little and then it stopped completely by itself
Today, when I was on the toilet, I received a call and in the middle of a call, the call speaker began to emit a REALLY loud noise (It sounded like the beeping of those really old soviet electronic alarm clocks). I only heard it but the person on the other end couldn't hear it. It got either quieter or louder depending on how I positioned the phone which is a sign that both these incidents are caused by a single issue
I never had this problem before and I'm pretty sure that it's a hardware issue since I tried the volume keys too and it seemed to ignore the volume controls or plugged in headphones
Any idea what could be causing this and how to get rid of this issue? I might not be able to send it for repairs so any "ghetto" repair guides are welcome
So I did read a recent post about this phone having a buzzing sound when on-call with another person regardless of their carrier. Unless its a problem with my carrier, I'm close to taking it back in to have it fixed. The noise is bad enough that I have to hold the phone away from my ear and turn up the volume. The recent article I read said they would be fixing it and it's still not fixed. . . :silly:
