Hi,
I'm on 32A with Rogers Canada. Just wondering to get the Name Display function work on my phone. Thanks in advance for all answers.

I did a search in the Sensation main forum for T-Mobile, and didn't find an answer. Please forgive me if I've missed it.
What are the differences between the EU model of the "Sensation" and the T-Mobile "Sensation 4G"? Hardware and such. Is there any real difference?
I had an HTC HD2. There was a forum for the EU model and one for the T-Mobile one for a while. Then they merged and rom developers specified in their threads if it applied to one but not the other. Looking over these forum and rom threads, I see no mention of T-Mobile's 4G being distinguished. Is there no need for this?
I read the guides about S-Off the Sensation, I'm assuming they apply fine to the 4G as well?
Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
It's the same thing.
Thanks. And clicked the "Thank" button for you.
Hello guys, just got a new Nexus S I9023, from this seller
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004USPRM4
But, they said it would be a UMTS 850Mhz frecuency phone, and turned out to be UMTS 900.....
Im familiar with rooting android phones and custom recoveries, but im new with samsung devices, so I ask
Is it possible to change the radio/baseband of my I9023 for a I9020T which is the proper frecuency I need?
Very much thanks in advance fellas.
As far as I know, you can't, sorry :/ I believe this is a hardware setting.
Not 100% sure, though.
Good Luck.
Radio bands are hardware based. You can't change your bands via software.
You can change your baseband radio, but that won't change bands.
Oh well.... just what I hoped for, I hope the amazon vendor knows the mess they did.
Sadly, Its hard for me to return it, since I live in Venezuela. Guess Ill sell it, theres a carrier here that supports 900mhz
Most of those independant sellers on Amazon or eBay are idiots...Never trust them and always check the device well before you buy...Live and learn
Hi,
This is my first post - so please excuse me if I sound dumb.
I have recently bought x 50 HTC Touch Pro 2's from Cellular South, I have looked for hours online but I can not see where this device originates from?
I think this device could be a "Sprint Version" because everything is identical, even the back case.
The only difference is that the keys are blue instead of orange.
Can anyone help me on this matter? because I want to ensure that the ROM I use is the right one.
Kind regards,
Louise

I admire the fact that you're asking this to start out right.
If it is branded Cellular South then it is a CDMA Rhodium. Cellular South changed it's name to C Spire Wireless.
For hspl unlocking and roms I suggest you look here:

For some info on the carrier:

Hi all,
I just went out to get a Galaxy SII and ended up with something different. I got the Telstra 4G model with model code I9210-T. It is a totally different phone, physically bigger and a faster CPU.
I did a search and couldn't really find any helpful info, does anyone know if I can get a ROM for this? I have rooted the phone no worries but I'm concerned because I originally wanted the SII for its community support and available mods. Having this seemingly different model worries me that it won't be supported.
Can anyone tell me where I stand with this and whether or not I should keep it or get a different one? Will this see the same level of support as the SII or is it a Telstra only kind of thing?
Thanks
Tim
Hey Tim,
A few of us have started a thread here with trying different ROM's.

thanks i'll check it out
is it possible to do this?
thanks in advance
Check the MetroPCS website for details. I think its only select phones and in specific cities listed there. Good luck!!!
