Windows Mobile 5 does not speak HTML email. Upcoming Windows Mobile 6 will support it, but your machine likely will not receive a free upgrade. So your best bet at the moment will be to revert to commercial email packages like for example Profimail for WM5
http://www.lonelycatgames.com/index.php?note=profimail&chapter=profimail or
Flexmail http://www.pocketinformant.com/products_info.php?p_id=mail&dir=wm
But keep in mind that in HTML hackers and spammers can easily hide code to verify your email address and other details. Plain text emails from unknown senders are safer
both off them are not free .isnt there any other way?

Qmail and nPop3 are both HTML-capable (albeit the latter with some restrictions). Please follow my articles / forum posts, I've published a lot of info on both apps.
Start with the Mailer Bible at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=569&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
On my pocketpc (HTC Tytn aka Hermes), I have the following problem, and I find it hard to believe there is no solution. So please guys, girls, help me.
When I tap and hold an appointment in pocket outlook, I find an option to BEAM the appointment and to SEND it as vcal. What I want to do, is send it as vcal by e-mail. However, if I tap the "send as vcal", poutlook opens the mms app. The BEAM option does not help me either, as it only applies to infrared and bluetooth.
So: how do I send an appointment via e-mail (I know I can send meeting invites, but that is not what I am looking for). I remember that I could do this on my Palm Treo: it would ask me infrared, bluetooth sms or e-mail.
Am I overlooking something or do I need to hack the registry? (if the latter, I would appreciate advice).
Thx
Bump.
Anyone know how to do this?
My Treo does it.
My SE does it.
My Nokia does it.
My Tytn MUST be able to do it? 3-d party software?
Anyone?
Anything?
Gr
Wouter
I just lost 80 people off my list!
Stay away from it at all costs! damn stupid idiots at M$!!!
All i did was logon and when i logged on the PC i see 80 people missing!!
Please if you have a CAB file for Pocket MSN that comes from T-Mobile SDA for Installation, ill be VERY gratefull!!
Here's Windows Live Messenger for WM5/6. If you mean the MSN Messenger application included in WM5 ROM then it's already in your phone as part of the operating system. Check the windows folder for the executable...
@NiTroGenious, dear god NO! i do NOT want Live Messenger! it just cost me 80 people off my list! its horrible! all that contact syncing disaster!
I want MSN Messenger and yes i know it comes with WM5, but i put WM6 and it does not come with it, That is why i asked if someone has or can make a CAB for installing it. Since i couldn't find it anywhere on the net
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Anyway, if you don't want the "Windows Live! features", why don't you try an alternative MSN client, such as IM+?
Windows Live! features, killed 80 people off my MSN list
IM+ and the rest of the others, cost money. And MSN Messenger on the SDA is all ill need if i can port it to WM6 from the WM5.
Thank you for trying
if you used WM6 Perfect Edition, try to use IE, I add an Windows Messenger Mobile in IE favorite, it is a wap version, it works well when you only need text chat.
@andot, i did not see it, propably cause when i synced the mobile, my favorites replaced the ones you provided
I still prefer an independed solution, is there no way to integrate instmsgr from the WM5 rom?
PS: Just wanna say awesome job on WM6 andot! seriously! brought new life to my mobile!
PS2: I Just found the PERFECT solution! FREEWARE and can logon to: Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and GoogleTalk!!!
I am shocked no one told me about it before, check it out - http://www.octro.com/index.php
PS3: Here's another free one which also gives you SIP! http://www.fring.com/download

There is this one from Nitrogen HERE DownloadPocketMSN_wm5_by_nitrogen You probably know him
Also do a search for "Install_Pocket_MSN.exe" there are a few cabs around. I downloaded it and it installed fine for me. All though, I just can't get MSN to work...
And finally, as an alternate try: www.palringo.com Its what I'm using now, free, pretty flexible, still in development. So far works great for me. Audible sounds with every message you recieve, can log into multiple acounts, multiple PM's, can use on Desktop, can send voice and picture messages... try it out, Not bad at all, and it qualifies for your FREE request Good Luck mate.
@Nitrogen: Good to see you around mate!
hei all, i just want ask
who have Yahoo Messanger Application for WM6 ?
cause i really need that programs
thankyou~
palringo is your answer
Palringo & Nimbuzz is freeware. IM+ is better but shareware. IM+ has twitter too.
Moved as not software release.
Best freebee i found is IM+ Lite has all main clients.
Attached.
I have searched and searched, but I cannot find a good alternative program to windows mobile's Outlook Email Client. For texting I am currently using SMS-Chat by Vito, and I was hoping there was a similar program somewhere out there that I could use for my email, but I can't find any email programs. Does anybody know of any that they can recommend. I hate the Outlook program, it runs so slow and takes forever to open and close.

Flexmail is imho, among the best ones. The downside is that it isn't free. Good luck!
