-----------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: OK I didn't cook it properly, which may explain why some apps, notably Office apps, would just quit. I just uploaded a version with no recmoding, and using Modules instead of Files -- so it should be more stable.
UPDATE: with ahmedfikry doing a fine job with the 235XX branch, I decided to stick with the 282XX series, so here's a new build of 28205, with the native kernel. Still includes include XDA_UC -- for info see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3611692
-----------------------------------------------------------
esperOS is meant to be a tight, no-frills lite ROM suitable for those using SPB Mobile Shell, or those who just want us much RAM as possible to install your own cabs.
It is also brand-free, there is no 'esperOS' in the startup screens. I want it to look like a stock HTC ROM.
Please refrain from asking for additions, unless you can make a case that it is essential for phone operation
As for the stuff that's there, let me know if you find a newer version that can be cooked in -- I tried to keep all the HTC goodies.
Please report bugs.
Includes Office 10, NetCF 3.5, Widgets engine (but no widgets, install your own), Chome, DRM

Caveat emptor! the usual warnings apply -- use at your own risk, etc.

Thanks for the ROM. Exactly the kind I am looking for.
I flashed it, but noticed that selection in Contacts list takes a press of around 2 seconds. Same thing in all other lists.
But buttons in the bottom bar (Windows, OK, X etc.) react instantly. So do Start menu list and CHome screen items.
[Update: The problem in my case was TouchFLO scrolling was enabled. I don't know if I enabled it accidentally or if it is the ROM default. Fixed by disabling it using Advanced Configuration tool.]

Hi,
Happy new Year
Burtcom i try your new rom today, what about the sleep and death problem?
What is new on the new build 28205 ?

The long-press is for some screens is a "feature" for 6.5 -- I think they did this to facilitate finger-presses, but I agree it's too long.
To be honest, I use SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 with this ROM, so I use SPBs contacts, etc, which do not suffer this problem.
As for switching themes, I just did it and it worked fine. (though it took a few seconds)

So far so good -- but I've only been using it for 24 hours now
As for whats new, not sure, I've been watching the main ROM thread to see what folks have discovered.
It does seem nice and fast for me.

Found a fix for my long press problem -- TouchFLO scrolling was enabled. Works normally after I disabled it. I am not sure if I enabled it or if it is the ROM default.
Switching themes works for me too. So no issues there for me. @lunicell should give it another try
Thanks a lot for a clean, HTC-like ROM.

Nice and Fast...
I was looking for a fast 6.5 ROM that I could use with Mobile Shell...this works great!!
The only part I cant get to work is the Themes color changes for the Icon Bar. It always stays black :-(

Hi Thanks u for ur rom
This ur rom is 3G dialer? thanks u

Fix to the Touch Response Problem
I love that the esperos ROMs are very light, but I just can't stand the touch responsiveness in the Microsoft programs (file explorer, etc.). I installed a Kaiser Drivers CAB from TPC's CAB Downloads and it helped a bit. You can try it out if you want.

For some odd reason after installing this ROM I get constant vibration if I receive a text. I even flashed the stock ROM before flashing this ROM. I'd like to run SPBMS on this ROM and install Cabs to my liking but first I'd like to get rid of the constant vibration. The only way I can get it to stop vibrating is by turning the phone off or doing a soft reset.

THANKS

No problems here
I just flashed my wifes and mine with this ROM. In fact I reverted back to an official ATT ROM first, then flashed to this ROM. I am running radio 1.71.09.01 too w/o any issues.
I tested the incoming sms, and just a single vibration- as it was setup to do.
The only issue I have is with SPB Software and Themes. I cant get the icon Bar to ever change from Black
Great ROM!!
Running:
Radio: 1.71.09.01
ROM: esperOS 28205
SW: SPB Shell 3.5, SP Keyboard, Kaiser Drivers CAB from TPC's CAB Downloads

You were absolutely correct... wrong radio. I didn't realize that the pkg I was downloading to re-flash the stock ROM included a different radio with the ROM. I had the 1.7 radio before and when I flashed back to stock it went to a 1.2 radio. I should have checked that...
Just as a side note... I've had no sleep of death issues at all!

This will be my first and last ROM release.
This due to the fact that I havent gotten any since the original release of mun's rom and I took on the project of creating this one.
There may still be some issues but they are more than likely minor or something that is a known issue about WM6. These I cant fix because I am not a kernel level programmer. I will still do my best to help out.
Thx will check it out later
Btw is that WMP a new one or still the same as faria ?

should be same as there was no new release
First to say thanks, nice...
will definitely give it a run through this weekend,
Thanks, but good grief, I just flashed back to 3.3 six hours ago, ah well, no rest for the wicked!!
Also I am guessing the aero.tsk is a theme but does that mean the bottom and top bars don;t have that glossy look, even if I install another theme?
Also, when you say there is no keyboard do you mean there is no on-screen keyboard at all? If so, how do I put that back on since I sometimes use it.
what's the pagingpool of this rom (4 mb like mUn version)?

Man, you're a senior, you should know better
Aero.tsk it's only a simple theme from mUn's original release. The glossy look is from the WM6, not from a theme or something
And he also had a custom keyboard, wich is also removed, now you only have the usual one
Thanks nottosmart, I'm downloading ,...

Well, I got some good news and some bad news.
The good news:
I got the promotion at work.
The bad news:
They are insisting that I put the phone back on WM5. They wouldnt tell me why, but if i want the promotion its a draw back I have to live with.
Sorry guys, 15K more a year is worth the drawbacks. Hopefully a full release will be given.
I will still be here to help out as best I can, but until I get a new device, My wizard will be off limits for development.
Great work,NotTooSmart!!!
congrats on the job NotTooSmart,,,, downloading now,,,
does your rom disconnect GPRS/Edge when the cancel/endCall button is pressed?
does the bluetooth headset button activate the Cyberon Voice Dialer?
Thanks for your hard work,

do you know a registry change that will have bluetooth activate voice dialer?
I am not asking about suspending/disconnecting when a call comes in.
My question was, does a active GPRS/Edge connection disconnect when the cancel/EndCall button is pressed?
The reason I ask is this button by cingular default does not disconnect but instead acts as a "show desktop" or Today Screen button.

During the beta testing, (mostly all day today) I did not notice my GPRS disconnecting (except when I did soft resets of course ). So this doesn't seem to drop GPRS / Edge the way other WM6 ones have done (but I didn't really go after that aspect either).

One correction here. GMail app does work on this ROM. The problem I ran into (and I think nottoosmart did also) was that when you install it initially and then immediately run it, it caused my phone to lock up. I did a soft reset and the app seems to run fine. This was the same behavior I had when I was running the original mUn ROM. So if you use the GMail java app, just expect it may lock up on you after your install if you try to use it. But it should be fine after that.
Great job on this reworking of the mUn ROM nottoosmart, and congrats on the promotion at work (bummer your phone privs were impacted).
Oh and one last comment for the night... This ROM is FAST! I ran with it for a good 12+ hours without overclocking and I really didn't notice it not being overclocked (except if I had two or three things running). I've now loaded mine up with Pocket Breeze, Pocket Contacts, Pocket Weather, Pocket Informant, and other apps I use. Even with all that baggage it still hums right along nicely.
Its only been about 24 hours, but overall this has been stable and very nice. I'm hoping to stick with this one for a week or more (I'm tired of flashing roms and rebuilding my stack of apps every couple of days ).
For GMAIL guys why don't you use the message email options, it set up my gmail and aol accounts automaticly and checks it every 15 mins
Less free space
just installed it and here is the space on the memory.
Storage Free: 43.4 MB
Program Free: 14.50 MB not 27 MB
I am thinking to back to Faria. But thanks anyway.

[New VoIP beta test, please test it] 1908...TNT...18508.0.7.0 [Public Beta version]

hi there
i have finally build a 1908 build for Wizard but with the true drivers and built as drivers not as files (and also not compressed), so high performance and stability. (thanks to misar for his great tool for the modules)
base rom:
1908 build 18508 AKU 0.7.0
it is like professional version + HTC Home on TNT Series + :
- VoIP (to test ADB100 issue)
- Pictures and videos don't show some of videos (Fixed)
- USSD issue on the last build (Fixed)
- Storage Card2 issue (Fixed by cancelling IE 2 SD, do it yourself)
- some edits on Windows Live 10.6.0031.2600 build
- some other fixes
- Java application removed, some have bugs with the latest version, i will build many cabs to choose whatever you want
- Task Manager removed (there are many choices like 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, or pBar)
i called this beta version just to manage the small issues if found.
((next releases will not contains version number e.g. 4.0, 5.0, ..., i will right the base rom before TNT and the build number after like 1437..TNT..17790, to make it easier ))
Download:
http://rapidshare.com/files/57465566/TNT_1908_Beta_Wizard.rar
or
http://www.sendspace.com/file/xhzivo (thanks prof. mfrazzz)
thanks to all users will use this beta version and share their reports either the good reports or the bad .

download: http://rapidshare.com/files/57594851/1908..TNT..18505..VoIP..TEST.zip
instructions on VoIP registries folder on the extracted zip file, please follow them then report.
Note: there are no stuff on this release, just VoIP. (there is no commmanager also, so just for testing VoIP as fast as we can)

ive been flashing my fone for ages, this is the only one that has ever caused a problem... got a link to something more specific then?
Looking GOOD!!
This is looking great!, thanks. I had problems with TNT 5.0 with some installed apps coming up with an error, it's reported in that thread.
Also had problems synchronizing with Outlook 2007 and Outlook connector to my msn account, not with this one. I don't now if it was the TouchFlow or not, this one does not have the TouchFlow.
Just an FYI, there is a duplicate folder that contains Office Mobile folder and just NotePad in it. You have already in the Start/OfficeMobile that application.
There is a folder in Programs that says Shortcuts, are these instaled or if you click on it they will install.
This is looking very good, what ever you have done you are on the rigth track!
I'm not a poster here just a flash junkie.
Extramely good job, Wifi works, BT works has far as I can see It's a good one!
Thanks!

Bugs/Errors
* Voip not working
* Alt/Tab reassign button
Any possibility of non RapidShare download? It could be slow, but it should be able to resume downloads. It is a bit too difficult to download big files from RapisShare over slow EDGE (it usually does not finish and RapidShare will not resume a broken download).

any mirror links on this wonderful rom
Run Every Day
Just an FYI
The "Run Every Day" Program is not working correctly, Something about "Not signed" and/or "One of it's componets connot be found".
Never used this "Avanced Config Tool" before, nice program!
This is not a Blotted Rom, just the necesary apps for day to day usage, good choice!
Installed CVSD_for_WM6_v1.2_build_61226_1.cab and works great, no problems so far.
Still poking around this "Beta", compared to most of the WM6 roms here this is not a Beta this is a RTM.
Thanks,
VoIP - all screwed up?
I don't know what you have done in this ROM but I can no longer install my VoIP settings via the .cab file I have used on all other ROMs, I just get 'Installation of voip-settings.cab was unsuccessful'. Also Schaps VoIP config tool aborts with an error when you try and apply the settings

I loaded this ROM last night. So far so good.
I think I will change the boot screen though. The first one looks like it's "twitching". I'm sure it's something you're trying to do to make it look like a cloud, but seeing the screen do that makes me think the electronics are being hurt. Not literally, moer a figurative feeling. I feel sorry for them
Anyway, I'll let you know if I find any functional issues.

hmm..i just checked my esmertec package, and the .jad files are showing associated to it. i will work on this bug fix as well as adding a few apps, still not ready for v1.0 yet, but i will be releasing a 0.9b probably today. and also a .cab file containing the fixes for those who don't want to reflash.
however, for now if u open esmertec java (programs>accessories>esmertec java) then hit menu>install>local files it will find the .jad files for you and can be installed as normal then.
edit: located problem, the shell extensions for .jar and .jad files were pointing to the incorrect .exe, will be fixed and update done today
0.9b update added
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2096088&postcount=2
today i get some time to try your rom, looks great at first moment
i will check for bugs and report if i see something wrong.
thanks!
btw, the best list of apps that i already see!
for me the only think that i need to install in separeted was live messenger, because my contacts are sync by there. but i know that is not everybody who like live stuff
new link added for 0.9b, available for download
It looks good !
Change ROm
I have a Wizard 9100 G3, already unlocked CID and SIM, with another 6.1 ROm running.
If I want to change to another ROM, am I supposed to flash again the oficial ROM or can I just flash the new one on top of the actual ?
Thanks
you can flash up to your atual.
but the recomended its flash you operator rom first to don't have any problem.

My feedback:
XS: i try very hard your rom, and my bigest problem was with batterystatus and quickmenu.
Both app in every rom that i already beta test, or realy test cause problem!
batterystatus some times after softreset and he desapear from today screen.
and quick menu some time don't substitute windows start,background stay white, and some settings change just realy work after
you set off, set on, set off, set on a lot of times.
i try now the 9.0b direct rom (not using upgrade cab)
and look a little better, i stop to have problens with batterystatus, and quickmenu only don't show the "today background" for default theme.
only i post here?
more feedback:
-you can upgrade slick for .42 version, its work better with new improvements.
-my battery is drain a little fast (one day without use 0.o), maybe you forget some tweak.
-some shortcutes are twice in some places (wktask and equilizer are in "programs", "settings" and "settings\system")
-remove "connections" folder in \windows\start menu
-enable cleartype in landscape mode
This would be the perfect ROM if only it included PIM backup. HTC home bothers me but that is easily deactivated. I will be using this rom for now instead of TNT's 19199 release.
i have been using this rom for a week now and it is quite fast and works great, havent tried out the bluetooth since dont really use that feature. But all in all i like it, going to install the upgrade and see how that goes.

[Pre-Release Discussion] Tilt XDA Live 2.0 - using at&t 3.51 Rom Base

Okay, I know I said that v1.5 would be the final incarnation of Tilt XDA Live WM6 Rom and I'm standing by that.
What has changed is that I've decided to make a WM6.1 XDA Live Rom!
This Rom is intended for Tilt Owners who want a light version of the Tilt WM6.1 ROM. The default Keyboard will be CWSLayout (Tilt), you are free to change it.
The Base ROM is at&t 3.51.502.0(AKU 1.0.2) Windows Mobile 6.1 Rom.
It will include the first at&t WM6.1 Radio (1.65.14.06) you are free to change to any WM6.1 Compatable Radio.
It will be debranded cosmetically
I have purchased a second Tilt to dedicate to this project.
Current List of goals:
Registry Tweaks:
* Disable Security Warning for Unsigned Apps & Cabs
* SDK Certificates have been installed
* TCP-IP Tweaks
* Enable GPS Data in Photo Data
* Enable Assisted GPS
* Disable Sent SMS Notification
* Disable In-Call Fast Sleep
* Hide SIM Contacts (yes it sticks!)
* Long Press of RED End Key locks device
* Glyph (GDI/Font) Cache set to Large
* Enabled File System Cache
* Enabled File System Filter Cache
* Disable TouchFLO
* Support Simultaneous BBC & MediaNet Connections
Fixes:
* Support UC (User Customization)
* Button 6 & Button 6 (Hold) defined
* Button 6 assigned to Comm Manager
* Hold Button 6 assigned to Record
* Camera.exe replaced with a “No Camera Message.exe”.
* ReplaceMe.ini file in the windows folder so you can easily make a cab file that causes soft reset by simply overwriting it.
* Adjust PagePool
Remove:
* at&t MediaNet & WAP Data Connections
* MS Office Mobile
* WM6 Default Games
* at&t Push To Talk (v3.00 b408.812)
* HTC Quick GPS (v1.00 b220.821)

* ALL at&t bloatware
* Calculator
* Windows Update
* HTC Home Today Plug-In (v2.10 b181.337)
* Media Player Today Plug-In (1.00 b 731.714)
* Slider Sounds

* Error Reporting
* Sim Manager (v6.42)
* Sim Toolkit STK crap
* .NET Compact Framework
* HTC Camera Application (v4.08 b30665)
* MS Voice Command (v1.6.19209)
Feedback I'm looking for...
I don't want a list of Apps that you think I should add to it. That's why I'm implimenting UC Support, so you can make this Rom exactly what you want.
If you see something in the base Rom that's not on my list tell me and please be as spefici as possible, point out a post with recommended files/Reg Tweaks etc.
If you want to play with the base, here is a MegaUpload Link.
I've added UC Support and only removed the config.txt file that I needed to replace for it.
I then packaged the OS with Radio 1.65.14.06 (the earlier Cingular WM6.1 Radio). No splash screen or SPL.
Note: it is Rom Chef Friendly meaning that I haven't stripped out any of the files that are needed to cleanly deconstruct this Rom.
anything is good. Just not the new radio unless you are SuperCID unlocked. All joking aside, I'm looking forward to anything. I'm game.
Looks great Kyphur!
"Clean" ROMS are my favorite so I very much look forward to this. I can't see tweaks missing just yet, but I will let you know if I see something.
Thanks and I look forward to flashing to this (would be the first flash for me in months!!!!).
Sounds good to me. WM6.1 is the shizzle.
Going to take a look at your Base and see how its going.
Will you produce the kitchen packages that contain the various items you have stripped out? Or should we use those that Alex has for his 5.2 version? The only reason i ask, is that I expect there are certain older versions of the removed apps that wont work with WM6.1., but are present in Alex's packages.
Other than that, I did not see "remove threaded SMS", so I can safely assume that will be IN - currently using dutty apr16, too many apps there, but I love the threaded SMS.
Time to learn UC and download all my required cabs I guess!
I'm going to compare Version Numbers and anything new will be built into Cab Files so you can install anything that is removed.
Personally I like the Threaded SMS and KaiserTweak is easily capable of disabling it.
Eventually even MS VoiceCommand will be stripped out and converted into a Cab File but for WAREZ avoidance I can't do that until an Official WM 6.1 Rom actually ships with MSVC integrated (but until then I'm not removing the package from the Rom. This is one of those gray areas where we have to watch our step.

Is quick Menu needed? I agree with the 'All Out and install what you want' method, so isn't that just extra?
That's the only additional thing I'd remove.
Since this is an AT&T based ROM please make sure you make the APN/RIL XML provisioning changes I posted so that us BBC users can have simultaneous BBC & MediaNet connections. They XML modification settings can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=384242
Once again, I look forward to the release!
Where on earth you find the time to bake roms while serving us all as a moderator trying to keep the boards clean & orderly is beyond me my friend, but I am certain glad you manage to squeeze it all in!
Thank You!
Quick Menu is part of HTC Task Manager...

Hey Kyph,
Out of curiosity, which of the two 1.65 radios are you using? The one in the complete package or the one in the secondary test.nbh?
Oh another thing, I'd beef up the PP a bit. Don't go crazy, but a nice 16mb version seems to be pretty snappy.
I'd also like to see the rgu's left in & the 3.5 fixed version of netcf that MS released in Feb. I also like seeing GPSTest in there, it really helps giving the GPS a kick start & seems to me it works better in rom.
Also, are you planning on using a dialer similar to retouched? I like those better than the big display type as it's buttons are slightly bigger.
Also, get rid of SimToolKit STK junk. & I'm sure you'll make sure it's app. unlocked from the start, right?
I like the really clean ones & I spend my $$$ on good apps, so no need for clear temp or CE explore or registry editors.
Also, what about HTC Home? It definitely works better in ROM, seems screen rotation, etc. is better if it's cooked in.
If you need a hand with anything, any testing or customized (Kyphurized) icons, folder icons, etc. Let me know!

I tried to edit the PP earlier on this ROM but was unable to do so. Are you able to have any luck with it?
You build it we will flash...........
After looking at the list of what's removed.....what's left?
Anyways, I personally prefer clean Romz over loaded....Thanks again, can't wait

I like to keep .Net CF out of the Rom for things just like that, fixes and such without having to pay twice for updates.

Everyone seems to prefer a different dialer, personally I rarely use the buttons (love VC) and prefer the clean look of the WM Dialer. This is something that is easy for each to install especially now that I'm supporting UC.

The version of HTC Home in this Rom seems to be messing with my volume settings, there have been times when I pick up the phone and all sounds are muted. If I disable HTC Home the problem disappears.

I've never really skinned one of my Roms but I have been playing with Cooking this one to a Black Theme by default, I just might take you up on this offer.
Kyphur, great to see you're working on a 6.1 ROM.
If you are able to change the PP, try using Quentin's work on q-mobile 1.2:
32MB Page Pool, 8192 File System Cache, 32768 File System Filter Cache, 131072 GDI/Font Cache.
Although I like clean ROMs, I also like everything basic to "work out of the box". And 6.1 ROMs seem to have weird anomallies that are beyond my meager skill, but I am confident that you will make it function. One TINY annoyance that a XDA DEV might know something about comes with the changing of the ringer to vibrate or ring. I use long endkey press to make the switch, but often the ringer is set at 0 while the sound goes back to normal. It would be convenient to have the ringer set to a predetermined volume to avoid this. If easily achieved
I also like the battery indicator that Confused Stu uses, VistaHide Battery meter (at top of screen) in mobile vista 1.3.
I only ask for this since I don't know where to find it, but hey... at least I'm willing to admit it.
Thanks for your efforts and letting us have a say in how you cook your ROM. You rock Kyphur!
I'd leave htc home for people to UC. I like the tweaked hermes version myself so that I can easily customize the weather db by zip code and such.

Need someone to recommend me a ROM

I have been searching for recommendations on custom roms and since I am new I do not know if they are up to date.
I have heard of manial 2.5 and 2.1; but do not know what they are.
Also I heard there are custom roms of 6.1 and 6.5 but what is the difference?
To install a 6.5 rom do you need the 6.5 stock rom or can you do it from 6.1 stock rom?
I want performance, stability, speed, web browsing, and landscape slide out usable along with so it will work if I turn the phone and all sensors usable.
I am wishing to getting a head start since I am getting my Sprint CDMA TP2 in a few days. Any TP2 users here that think this phone is good and had it for a while?
NRG (aka EnergyRom) is probably the most popular ROM, i've been using it in various iterations since 12/09. It works well though Sprint picture mail can be problematic at times and I've been unable to disable HTC's texting/sms app (It can be ridiculously slow when you have a long conversation). 6.5 is a little more touch friendly than 6.1 but it's not a huge change. I use NRG's rom with sensity and CHT v2.0(cookie home tab which increases home screen flexibility). XDAndroid is also very nice (I'll switch permanently once they get the headphones working)
I have used nrg rom and have currently been using the superrom.
It's bare-bones and very fast. I had to add some of the .cab's that
i wanted but they are really easy to find. Phone has only frozen
on me like once and i have a large amount of text messages stored
on the phone.

I hope it doesn't have the same flaws as energy rom. I think I will stick with the stock Rom first. Can you list me any internet, text, calling, landscape mode, sensors, physical keyboard etc. any other possible flaws it may have? Is it wm 6.1 or 6.5 layout?
Can you link me to the most up to date mighty rom thread and original maker?
The HTC messaging problem and sprint picture mail problems aren't ROM specific. HTC messaging can take 20+ seconds to load when you've got a ton of messages(it doesn't affect the web browser or email), you can bypass this by clicking all messages before replying to a new text (this opens the default text client rather than the HTC one). There are fixes that are supposed to bypass HTC messaging entirely but they don't seem to work.
The sprint picture mail problem is due to sprint picture mail not really sending pictures but instead links to pictures (you have to install arcsoft messaging and some other files to make it work). Sharky's rom may not have this problem (since it was developed specifically for sprint) but pretty much any other custom rom will.
Sounds like you already got your answer! Try my ROM Check my sig. for my PPC Geeks thread. Seeing as how that site is more geared to CDMA, that's where all my ROM action is.
Are there any other roms that are made for Sprint winmo 6.5?
How much memory RAM does your rom have on boot up sharky?
I just today noticed on stock I am unable to send/ receive text messages but can call and browse the internet. Problem happened after a few installs like flash lite, nfs shift, resco explorer, and maybe sktools cleanup has ran and broke it. So I plan on moving on to a custom rom.
Do any custom roms change radio? Because I HOPE NOT. I don't want an SAR change lol. SAR level change will be bad.
in refferance to sktools clean up.......you have to be carefull what you delete esspecially in the invalid registory entries and values mode......i usualy leave that alone unless i no for sure what i am deleting wont affect the phone.....and also just go to your file explorer/mydocuments/regsrybkp and restore what was deleted....
I couldn't find registry backup anywhere.
got your reply my friend..get back to you in a few hours...
ok...i am no expert...ther are a lot of smart guys in this forum when it comes to ppc's...thumbs up to them...what i no about this is experience because i have deleted 100 things before i learned...i no that if you use the registry cleaner in sktools it will tell you that things are invalid and so on....when they are actually valid....why, i dont no...but first check to see if back up deleted entries is selected to yes.....in your sktools program under tools menu go to settings...then scroll to invalid registry entries and at the bottom of that list you will find that option...the same for invalid registry values...if they both are yes then everything you deleted should be in your files program under 'registrybkp'....mine is under 'mydocuments'/'registrybkp'.....and if the deleted entries are there just tap on each one and they should automatically restore...and last, if for some reason you dont have any backups then a hard reset would be my advice to you.....i hope that helped .....good luck and just keep going by trial and error!
MR.X ROM! is super fast but you cant send picture mails

I have maybe a dumb question. What does a cooked ROM give me, more functionality and features or just cosmetic modifications?
Thanks
All of the above. More stability as well. Phone rarely freezes to the point where it needs a hard reset and also no screen of deaths.

Is there any way I could get manual or at least a list of features for each ROM?
It's either on the rom forum page or you check the rom out yourself. Usually the original poster in the first post will list a list of features and give pictures for their rom. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and don't forget to thank me if I helped.
