Hi,
I'm currently using the MDA Compact on T-Mobile
R 1.00.10
G 1337.36
D 1.01.00WWE
What is the latest ROM version?
Is it worth upgrading to a different ROM?
What are the benefits?
I know that some would say that if you're happy with what you've got why upgrade but i would like to know if there are new features or performance improvements etc
many thanks in advance
you are using the latest rom for the UK MDA Compact, which is fairly stable, however the later roms being used by others have slightly improved audio performance, stability and an imporved bluetooth stack.
if you are happy with the existing rom, I would stick with it for now.

I would defenately try to upgrade to a 1.11 WWE or UK version, it will bring you more stability, more features, better and fast bluetooth, better soundquality, less need for soft-reset, better bluetooth and much more... I'm running on 1.11 WWE for a month now, and it's a breeze compared to the older versions...
Hey Guyz I was just wondering which WM6 Wizard Rom has the best Battery live of what uve tested so far
In My oppinion, Core 2 is the best regarding battery life
What do yout think about Mun_rus's ARTM with 10.2.0.8_WWE? been testing it for a couple of days but, even dough the performance of this rom is outstanding i think i have a battery drain issue... i;l further test it and see what i can come up with
Anyway.. my first post on this forum... i've been reading this forums a lot in the past 4 months and i must say WOW You Guyz ruuul!! Keep Up the good work
-In my oppinion the new rom 5.2.318(build 15342.0.0.0) is best battery life.
I agree with the previous reply the new (official rom) is the best for battery life and otherw
Yup, i agree.,.... whell se how bug free this new releaase turns out
core 2.0 works great for me
i have a better performace than my operator windows mobile 5
The Newest WM6 ROM definetly has the best battery life -
On the older faria (the real thing) after a normal day's work (9 hours after unplug) I'd have about 65-80%. Last two days I haven't been below 88-90% in same time period!! (faria wm6#2)
XDA Mobile 6 has the best battery life by far....of ANY of these... I put a guarantee with that.
so far ive used farias wm6 the first one, core 2.0n, and xda mobile. and id have to say that core had the best.

a big factor is how you set up your phone once you're running android. to give you an idea, when i first fiddled with android on my hd2, my battery drain was MASSIVE. as in you charge it full and it would go down to 50% in the morning. now, i'm very pleased with my set up as it's given me the best battery results as compared to when i was running wp6.5. to give you an idea, once my unit is fully charged, in the morning the battery indicator says it's at 98%. not bad at all considering she was on standby for more than 8 hours. my current set up:
rom: chuckyrom lite
radio: 2.15
android: mdj 4.6
cheers
Depends on how you use your phone. The android roms for hd2 are quite god already.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
I think there is no difference in energy consuming .
im using a htc hd2 leo..and i've changed the os from windows 6.5 to android 2.2 nand..but the battery life on android is very poor..how can i extend the battery life?
I am still on 4.4.4
I have read many threads, and Sony seems to be deliberately confusing things.
Is there any way I can load a 6.x version on this phone? My old Z3 Compaq was the Asian version, and auto-updated to Marshmellow. Batter life was great. Battry life on this one is utter crap.
