hello my att tilt has a white screen i´have tried everything and when i say everything it means that,,,, ok last night when i was triyng to update my 8925 it gave me a white screen so i put it in bootloader and try to flash the att rom but i couldn´t.... so i read wiki and i did mtty or something like that but now my tilt doesn´t show anything it´s dead if i turn it on the only thing it shows is a white screen and if i put it on bootloader it´s the same i can´t get my tilt to load anything...... i also tried the thing with the micro sd card but it doesn´t load anything...... like on the other methods only shows 0% and then nothing happens

It sounds like you don't have HardSPL on it. But did you also run the program as administrator?
i did everything that you told me to do (flash from sd card) and yes i´m running as administrador
the phone turns on but only a white screen appears and i have installed HardSPL but now i try to reinstalle and doesn´t work

The first and most important thing before doing anything with your phone is read a lot and understand. If English is not your native, then find someone that understand to explain to you.

Hi. Can someone please help me out? I was trying to flash my cingualr 2125 from wm 5.0 to 6.0. I was using Kar Hoe's instuctions and I used the typhoon instuctions instead of the tornado instuctions. I didn't know there was a difference at the time.
I did all the steps up until step 5 on the typhoons where it states you will get a white screen. At that point, I accidently hit my usb and the phone disconnected from active sync. I thought if I took my battery out, I could just do a reboot and get the reboot screen. Well I got nothing. I cannot even turn the phone one. I cannot even connect to active sync. I thought maybe I fried the battery and bought a new one and no luck. I have done a hard restart and all other things that I could think of.
Does anyone know if I had hurt the phone and if it can be fixed to get to the bootable screen. I would be happy just to get it to power on and stay with wm5 just to have the phone working.
I really appreciate your help.

Aah i remember doing the same once i screwed up my newly acquired tornado with typhone rom. phone was dead no bootup screen nothing, i tried every thing asked everywhere, thankfully i had warranty period so went to them with very innocent face and made up a story that "i switched it at night and it wont boot in the morning" they bought and gave me a new phone after a week. any ways GOOd Luck

think your in trouble mate. Using the wrong rom and cancelling it half way is a big no no. Least you have a fancy paper weight

I have just acquired a tornado (in it's o2 guise) and it will only get as far as the wm splash screen. I thought trying a hard reset or flashing it with a new rom might revive it. However I tried hard reset (holding down the 2 soft keys beneath screen while pressing power button?) but it just kept booting to the splashscreen. The phone doesn't boot far enough to be recognised by Activesync so can't flash it. Can anyone suggest a solution? Would going to bootloader mode allow me to flash it? If so, how do I do that?

try this.
1.switch off phone
2. remove battery
3. re install battery
4. hold camera button
5. while holding camera button plug usb cable to port
6. after some second u will see three color bootloder screen
7.format binfs
7. then u can flash correct tornado rom
you can us alternative method for going to bootloder mode
hold camera button while holding camera button press power button(not hold)

Thanks for the tip. Just one question, will this command CID unlock the phone too? It's just the phone isn't CID unlocked, I've tried using instructions and tools on other threads to change the CID value of downloaded roms to that of my phone, but all Typhoonnbftools produces is a 512 byte .nbf file which isn't good for anything. Any suggestions?

When I run format binfs from teratermpro I'm told it's not allowed. What do I do now?
First off, try a couple different times. The "format BINFS" command is case sensitive - where your capital letters are makes ALL the difference. You may need to try a couple times, but I believe "format" is all lowercase and "BINFS" is all capitals.

Problem is I have tried using Typhoonnbftools to change the CID over numerous roms, the file it produces is only 1kb or smaller which is no good for anything. Just try to flash with a legal WM5 ROM from the magnufacture's web site while the device is in bootloader screen. I hope it will work.

This is my problem. There isn't one on their site! I emailed them but they were no help at all.
edit: Have also searched loads of forums etc. no-one seems to have it and there are lots of people looking for o2 roms.

Well, I found 'magic' WM5 for SDA, but since it CIM locked, and upgraded to radio 2.0, phone refuse to upgrade (downgrade) to WM5, he said I needed newer file or something... It's stucked in bootloader

Hi Guys.
I just got a Fuze after waiting since June and I'm proud to say it's my first smartphone. So I wanted to put a cooked ROM on it and I fugred out that I need to use Hard SPL for any ROM.
When I go to update the ROM with Hard SPL it goes to the progress bar on my computer and the device starts the enterbootloader.exe program. However, the second that enterbootloader.exe starts and the device goes black, I lose my connection to my PC. What am i doing wrong?

i got the popup that asked me if i want to let bootloader.exe install and i said yes. then the screen goes black, and then i loose the connection between my device and the pc
mine disconnected cause i didnt hit yes but once i did then it worked
your having the same problem i had with my 8525 i never could make it work

first i couldn't get RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_1_90_3.zip to work so i used SSPLManual to get it to go, now no matter what i do it gets to 0% and the pocket pc locks up. im using a HTC Touch Pro with Sprint. the device says Upgrade ROM code error please try again. ms activesync says that it cannot recognize the device or something, and the hardspl program says error 262. ive been searching and reading for an hour and a half and cant figure it out. i really need my device to work by like, tomorrow, so please help me out guys :\
Try going to bootloader mode and flashing the stock ROM that came with it.
i held down the power and volume down buttons and reset it but it just goes to the tri colored screen everytime. there has to be something im just completely missing. to reset to stock rom i would just put the rom on a memory card or how ever the website instructions say to do it and put it in the phone and restart or how does that work
Exactly (if you want to flash the memory card way). Or you can simply connect the device through activesync when in bootloader and flash the stock ROM (download it if you don't already have it).

Isn't the Sprint CDMA? The GSM HardSPL won't work. From the bootloader screen flash it with an OEM Sprint ROM. Good luck
I have a Kaiser which I updated a while ago with WM6.1 official Belgian dutch. Since it became way to slow, I wanted to hard reset the device. Since a couple of hours, it has been stuck on the green WM screen saying The device is erasing the memory, Please wait...
I have been looking through the forum, but have not found the same issue.
It does not come up in acctive sync, so a normal relaod is not possible. Any ideas?

manually go into bootloader if you want to reflash the rom, if phone is powered on hold camera button in and the softreset button at the same time! it sounds like you possibly have had a bad flash, OR you had a bad download!!!
Not possible to flash anything
what I've tried so far:
- activate active sync to install hardSPL. Not working
- install HardSPL through microSD. Not working
- install ROM through SD. Not working
I tried a non HCSD for a change, and then I see the loading scree flashing up, but quickly says No rom found and returns to the bootloader screen.
The only thing that works is load the bootloader (red green blue white) into a screen that says:
KAIS130
SPL-3.29.0000
CPLD-8
Serial
When connected to USB, it says USB, but no disk is showing in Explorer or any connection is made to AS
The only thing I've done in the past is flash the 6.1 rom through the system provided by HTC with a file called RUU_Kaiser_HTC_NLD_3.29.404.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship.exe

put it into bootloader, connect it to the computer and then flash one of the htc roms. make sure its an htc rom, you cant flash a custom rom cause you dont have hardspl
I have not been able to find the original rom, only the exe from htc which says Connect with active sync. Do I have to set it in bootloader and then execute the program?

Just want to let you know I sorted it out!
Flashing the original rom does not need active sync, the bootloader USB connection is sufficient.
After this, the phone restarted in 'Erasing memory' mode, but was able to finish it and reinstall the whole rom.
I believe I got the taste of it and will start testing some other roms...

First I installed the spl, that went through without a hitch I downloaded everything, from the customRUU.exe, to radio 2.15, to a rom android sense, i tried flashing both not at the sametime changing them to RUU_signed.nbh, and when i run the ruu.exe it give me an error. When i try the other way, by changing them to LEOIMG.nbh and ptting it on my storage car, and shutting my phone off then turning it back on by holdong the volume button down with the power button all i get is the tri color screen with either serial or usb, nothing more, no image screen to continue, so i have to take out my battery and put it back in to restart my phone to normal. Im lost the process is very easy to do, but im having problem and i cant find anything in the forums to fix them nothing seems to be working. please help and sorry to be such a noob to this.

If you do wanna change it anyway then read this and watch the videos..........

O.K. I left my current wm rom from tmobile, and my current radio which is higher the 2.08, and i put android on my sd card. I clicked on clrcad.exe, then i clicked on haret.exe, it loaded, now its stuck on a black screen with green htc lettering.

Depending on what version of Android you go it may have to make the data.img file (your Android 'hdd' if you will). This process can take up to 15min, during which your phone will just sit there on the hTc screen or console.
If your radio is >2.08.... and you have copied the Android folder to your SD card correctly, on your first boot it will take some time to make your data.img file, and set its self up.

black screen and green htc?..... sounds like it could be the evo build, if so that one took well over 20 mins for me on the first boot, then another 10-15 to launch sense.....
if you abort it halfway through the first boot you should start over again by deleting the file data.img if one was created......

heh too late.I left it on for about an hour, so I deleted it gonna start over thanx when I get home ill try out your advice out by taking out data.img.
I just want to let you guys know I got it baby finally got android working. Thank you all for your help and patience. Only one problem I see, it drains my battery.
