Here is which helps me a lot, thank you
I have already looked a lot and I do not find real solution
If somebody can propose me a tried solution, I thank him
I am looking for this too and have searched high and low, but with no solution. I also want the notification to sound through the speaker rather than through the headphones too.... Hopefully someone can help us Armand63.
Perhaps Koen-ronse can use his skill at searching?

It seems difficult but never knows one, it is soon Christmas!!
Regrettably, Christmas is crossed and always nothing!! Have to I hope for the New Year's gifts of New Year's Day?
I am also looking forward to this.happy new year
Oh yes please!
It would be soo nice to have this function implemented..
Cross my fingers, and hope someone can come up with a solution!
Happy New Year
it would be great when the phone is in the dock and the resiever is turned off
Hi,
I'm searching for such an application too.
Speaker output even if headphone is plugged.
I need it for Navigation voice output even my TD2 is inside CarCraddle (with Headphone connection). Till now I use "HyperGPS_WM6_B9" which activates speaker output too.
But I do not need the other functions, like TMC from radio, which needs a bit too much energy.
So, it is possible to activate the speaker, but till now I haven't found other solutions, even registry manipulation.
Greetings
Sure would like this too, I miss too many calls when I have my headphones around my neck instead of in my ears. ^^

Hi guys! Has anyone experienced not very loud speaker while calling? Whe you are making a call you have to put volume to highest level to hear at least something. I don't have a Raph yet but I'm hearing this from multiple people. Can someone please write me how is he/she happy with the phone's speaker (the one you put to your ear when making a call) loudness?
Thanx
Hopefully the other people have actually taken the Screen Protector that comes on the device whilst in the box off and replaced it with the separate one provided. The protector provided has the necessary holes for the sound to come out so you can here.
With that done, the sound on mine is more than sufficient and I can get away with 60-70% volume in a London street.
Well that's a good news. Thank you for the response!
It has nothing to do with the screenprotector.
I have both devices side by side and called to my voicemail on the same number and the phone speaker on the Raphael is definitely not as strong as the one on the Diamond.
I have a hard time deciding which device to keep as speaker volume is important to me.
But the volume on the Diamond speaker is much higher than on my previous devices as the Touch, TyTN II, etc.
Hope HTC issues a ROM update to increase the volume as the hardware should be identical
Hi,
I'm having the same issue with the speaker compared to my TyTN II, hopefully there will be a fix..
Michaël
Same here.
Loudspeakervolume is really low... :-(
(compared to a Hermes, Diamond and TyTN II)
Maybe there is a Registryhack for changing this ?
Mogul had same issue, fix came fairly soon after launch
Mine is low and really sucks

I´ve the same problem. Someone try this app ?
This app doesn't work.
Can't load the driver.
Interestingly the volume and sound through the headphones is great, exactly the same as the diamond.
You should think, because the hardware on the 2 devices is the same it really is a software problem.
Is there a registry setting for the earpeace volume??

anybody??????
Doesn't work for me, dowloaded several other versions. Some of them craches my Touch Pro..
Low volume speaker and poor signal strenth problems
My phone speaker is also almost unusable on highest volume setting. Listening to music on the rear speakerphone is fine.
Tried doing a hard reset to see if Skype or another add-on program screwed up the software and no go -- still same problem!!
Second issue...I have the UK version of Raphael and am currently using it on ATT network in the USVI and signal strength is very labile and weaker than on a cheap phone when compared side by side. Could this be the radio software on the Quad band UK version or poor antenna on the Raphael.
Very disappointd with both poor sound quality AND poor signal strength.
Any and all thoughts and constructive comments welcome!
docclayton
Anothe quick note....called HTC support this am and they are NOT allegedly aware of this speaker problem.
This is almost making my device not usable... If they dont fix this asap I will get rid of the device
I think we should all call HTC support to make them aware of the speaker problem.
I will call them today, but they probably will tell me to send in the unit for repair or something like that.
:-(
Speaker problem
I confirm the same speaker problem. Unfortunately I can not hear the phone call. Music plays ok, but the speaker volume when receiving a call is incredibly low. Any solution?!?
Please, my eyes bleed from reading in the forum, but as far as I can tell noone has succeeded...
I am looking for a tweak or cab or ROM or anything that can boost the audio output of the FM radio through the earphones!
I have tried everything and nothing works.
It is important to me because I ride motercycles and I want to be able to listen to the radio.
Thanx to everyone for the great work you are doing here!
Link
And you might search for a lesson in googling as well
I ride a motorcycle as well, and I think listening to the radio while riding a bike is just outright dangerous. But that's just me
Ouaou thanks! You are great!
But none of these work.
Audiopara increases all the sounds except the radio through the earphones. I have tried it.
If you could use your skills in helping people rather than making fun of them you would be much appreciated.
currently no one has been able to increase the vol on the FM radio i think that it is more of a hardware limitation than software, i could be wrong and yes all volume boast cab, and audiopara files does not work on FM Radio, i guess we got to to wait and see
I guess a setting in audioparam3.cvs can change volume for FM raido.
Some version of Energy ROM has very low FM volume and very loud mp3 volume but it has been improved a lot.
Thank you both for the answers.
So flywhc are you saying that if I change ROM, since I am currently using ENERGY, the radio might be louder?
Because the stock ROM was equally low volumed as ENERGY ROM
I believe it is related to some settings in the ROM so some ROM has louder volume some has lower.
I guess settings are written in audioparam3.cvs

You should consider one of the Bluetooth helmet headsets, like the Parrot SK4000, or the Cardo Scala Rider with Radio.
I have the Parrot and it is awesome...
Thank you, but its a rather expensive solution, although much safer...
Besides I use 3 different helmets, according to what I am driving and the outside tempereture and weather, so it would be a lot of trouble to adjust the bluetooth to another helmet every time!
I tried itech clip radio bluetooth that was cheaper but it was impractical and had a very poor sound quality.
After all apart from me many would benefit if someone could come up with a solution.
search this forum and play with that audioparam3.csv you may get a solution.
alternatively you can change a better 3.5mm earphone. I am using SonyEricsson w series phone earphone. It has much better quality and loud. It may be dangerous for driving because it blocks noise!
Thank you. I started messing with audiopara and I will see if I can make anything out of it.
I also use 3.5 mm earphones. Sennheiser, noise canceling also!(I know it is stupid and dangerous, but I am addicted!)
Thank you! I started messing with audiopara and I will see if I can make anything out of it.
I also use noise cancelling earphones (senheisser). I know it is stupid and dangerous but I am addicted!
Thank you. I have started playing with audiopara but my hopes are down...
I also use a noisecancelling set (sennheiser). I know it is dangerous and stupid but I am addicted!
I have tried the various Audio Boost cabs and searching for solutions but no luck so far. None of them seem to boost my BT headset(s) volume sufficiently (or at all...only phone speaker volume). Same headsets on other phones are sufficiently loud, except my Fuze. I drive a loud car and suffer from some minor hearing loss and with the headset volume maxed out and the phone volume maxed out, I still need a bit more.
Any solutions?
Headsets are:
Jabra BT530 (normal headset)
Samsung WEP200 (old backup headset)
Blueant V1 (wife's)
I've been looking for a solution to this forever! I pretty much gave up on the bluetooth headset and went back to wired. I would love to use the bluetooth, but the in-call volume is just too low.

I have some issues with BT being to low.
Remember there was, if I remember correctly, in some really old MONX thread a discussion of the Audiopara3-file that might affect BT-volume.
I made a futile effort of searching, but with limited time I couldn't find it.
Sorry.

One of the things I have tried is replacing the Audiopara3 file but it has no effect on BT headset volume.

That's not what I meant...
What I meant was there was a discussion about a value IN audiopara3 that might affect the BT-volume..
Now, I don't know if this is imaginary, but I looked over some registry-settings, and I atleast think I got somewhat louder sound over BT-headset, but as I said, it might aswell be in my imagination.
What I did, was to increase the values in:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\waveDev\GainADC_HeadsetMIC_12h
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd\GainADC_HeadsetMIC_12h
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd\GainADC_BluetoothMIC_12h
and rebooted.
Do this at your own risk, I am in no way responsible for any dataloss or your phone or even that it's working or not.

Ok. I'm on EnergyROM_23504_RAPHAEL_10.Nov.2009_StandardM2.5.rar
Don't know if they are safe to just add either. I guess you could try though.
Suppose you would be safest to make a backup, just in case.
EDIT:
I just found this while googling. havn't read through the entire thread and don't know if it's any difference between the audiopara you tried but you might wanna give it a shot.
anything? that works yet? i have a bluetooth speaker lg msb100 that i carry around in my hard hat. its not loud enough please someone find a fix to this.
Yesterday I bought a second hand N5 phone and I can't hear much when dialing other persons. The sound is too low...someone around here with same problem and maybe a fix? Thanks.
You have to be very precise with the placing of the ear speaker because it is round, it is easily covered by your ear, making it seem quiet.
Please use descriptive thread titles. If you want help, you will get more help if you change your title.

Hi,
You can try this: [MOD][GUIDE][4.4.2] Headphone, Speaker and In-call Volume Boost for the Nexus 5.
aliexpress case management decided: full refund without return...
I had opened a dispute because of the mic problem. and also the unit was advertised as having a dvd player and of course does not come with one.
So now I need to fix my free head unit.
If I YELL into the mic, I can be heard with some static. However, Google voice commands will not work because of the horrible sounding voice input.
I installed an external mic, and no help.
In between insisting it was ok to close the dispute (which I guess was a scam attempt), the seller suggested that there was an external mic module that might help? or that the bluetooth chip may not be functioning correctly.
does the soldering external mic onto internal mic "fix" address this specific problem? if so, will google voice command then work?
I've been searching for answers for several days now and I'm not clear on it. I hope someone out there who has done this can shed some light?
Also... guys if the unit does not work, that dispute button apparently isn't just for looks.

From what I've read, they're all built and designed so horribly that most have microphone issues of some sort. They're all the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. All I'm saying is that if you order one and it isn't working right, use the dispute button. Maybe some day they'll actually make decent units and advertise them correctly
Is it. a microphone. issue or just. something in. the software ? it. seams everyone has this. problem mincluding me.. microphonen will. not. work anywere else besides bluetooth app (dialer app)
I took my external mic while in a BT call cupped it in my hands and put my hands to my mouth and talked into it so the headunit mic couldnt pick up my voice, the person couldnt hear me at all. Tried louder & louder & they couldnt hear me, I literally need to almost yell with my face 5 inches from the screen for them to hear me.
This seems to be a common issue. Even I have this issue. Fortunately the mic works beautifully during Bluetooth calls. Please let us know of you find a fix for this.
Cheers,
Rahul U S
