Spb Mobile Shell 3.5.1 Contacts & Missed Calls - General Questions and Answers

I searched and could not find the answer...
Do we know how to change the Contacts button at the bottom and the Missed Call widget to point to some other program? I would like to open Phonex's contacts and missed calls.
Thanks

anyone?
I would be surprised if this cannot be done.

it can be done simply by using invisible widgets, take a look at Mskip's ultimate or elegance for mobile shell, bye.

The today screen I'm looking for

A big digital clock with the current calendar (current date highlighted) in the background.
On either the right or left side of the screen are large user configurable buttons indicating Task, Contacts, Weather, Apps, etc.. When you push a button, a menu slides out allowing you to view Tasks, the weather, quick dial contacts, or apps to execute (i.e. Gnome GUI sliding menus).
Anything like that exist for WM5?

help making my own rom or cab files.. please :D

hello all,
id like to start off in thanking you all all for some of the fantastic roms some of you have made... i like little touches in all of them and i thought i would have a go at customising mine to my own perfection.
i really like this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=364901
but i know i cant use this on mine because i have a Wizard G4 and thats for the elf.. ive cid unlocked it so that i can flash any G4 OS only rom using that Hardspl thing!! (sorry forgot what it was called)...
i really like the black glossy background thats in all the folder views and the icons and everything about it from that link^^^. i wanted to change the font so that it was like the 1 from that link too... i like the way it moves the icons down the side when you go into a folder too,, is this possible on the wizard??
the apps that i was looking to install were:
Google Maps
Glossy Black Bars
SIM Manager
Clear Temp
office
HTC Touch Keyboard
any cool games
Threaded SMS (New)
Internet Explorer with Zooming Features (New)
Adobe Reader LE
.NET Compact Framework 3.5.7283.0 (New)
GSAlarm Clock (New)
Windows Media Player with Touch Style Skin
Automatic Network Detector for wap/gprs/mms
Windows Live (newest version) because i use hotmail for emails and messenger to talk to my mates.
i seen someone that had on their today screen the option to read emails as soon as they came thru and it notified you on the today screen like it does with new SMS messages...
i really like the iphone dialer and i'd like to see which contacts are ringing me so is there a phot contacts program??
i'm not to bothered about any of the closing programs or task managers or commander stuff or battery bars,,
if someone could help me find the things i would need to make a rom like this i would really appreciate it.
or if anyone can reconmend something that shows the info when emails arrive on the today screen then that would be cool...
Thank you
Kev

REMAP a button in Call Status Screen

OK. I used the SSMaPa program to remap my Agenda one to all calendar tabs but I can't seem to get it to work in the Call Status screen.
I am using an Alltell branded HTC Touch Pro and that's the one glitch. When I'm in a call the calendar button is available but to goes to the MS calendar not the agenda one calendar.
PLEASE anyone have a clue on this.
I'm also using SPB mobil shell as well if there's a way around it there but I bet it's coded somewhere in the registry I just can't find it
thanks
Shawn

what is the best dialler PROGRAM for TD2

what is the best dialler PROGRAM for TD2
it depends on what features you are looking for.
For me, I prefer Iconsoft Phonex. It is skinnable, it doesn't have the slide to answer on an incoming call, it is fairly ram neutral (if you disable the HTC dialer), it has full screen images of the caller on an incoming call, it does not hide the keypad on an incoming call (unless you want it to).
The disadvantages are that if you do disable the HTC dialer, on some roms the bluetooth icon no longer appears; it doesn't link to the Manila contacts buttons; you may need SSMAHO to link the call history to Phonex instead of HTC dialer. However, I think Phonex is good enough that I don't use the HTC contacts tab....
any idea about this guys ?
Dialer
I use Inesoft address book.
Very easy and big numbers on the dialer for fingers.
Don't know about any bluetooth icon showing on the dialer .

V2.2 has Slide to answer. Check the options. You can have V1 (non slide 2 answer or V2 Slide to answer)
