Windows 6.5 for Sprint Pro 2, why the delay? - Touch Pro2 CDMA

I have searched and searched and can not find out if anyone has put the 6.5 WM from the Intrepid (a WM6.5 touchscreen on Sprint) on the Pro 2? Seems I can put a cooked ROM and the HTC 6.5 upgrade, but not a Sprint version. If I am missing something in the searching, then please tell me what terms to put in the search to get back the results desired. Many thanks!

You're not missing anything. Sprint hasn't released a 6.5 rom yet, and there is no ETA for when they will. If you want 6.5 on a Sprint TP2, your only option is to install a cooked rom.

Will the cooked ROM have the Sprint features? Where is the most reputable site to download a copy of the cooked ROM (I am paranoid) for the TP2 Sprint?
Many Thanks-

I have the sprint tp2, I have NFL / TV / NAV. Not sure what else you would want. 6.5 improves this phone so much.. it's worth doing. Unless someone can tell me how to make it work the only thing that does not work is the Auto Speaker Phone when placed face down, and the auto screen off when placed against your head.

Many thanks for the info. I was excited until I read the last note you made. Those two functions I can not live without. The phone 'locking' when by my head is a HUGE deal, this never worked correctly on my Diamond, had to install a locking program. The speaker aspect is also needed... Damn.. I will start looking for a fix for these issues prior to my upgrading.

Mrcoolgli - For the Speaker phone setting. Have you looked in start > settings > all settings > personal > phone and then bottom tab all the way to the right is an advanced tab.
There is a check box for turning on the speaker when the device is placed face down during a call.

at ppcgeeks.com there is a sprint stock rom with manila 2.1 from chazybaz13. I flashed it this morning. It has all the sprint tabs but I didn't test to see if they all work. It's using the latest 6.5.3 build 28005
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91859

Rulvaren - your right, that fixed it. so now my phone does everything it did before faster and without locking up. I would even go so far to say my battery seems to last much longer as well. I am using the MightRom ROM.

There are a ton of ROMs on PPC Geeks, and they have all of the Sprint carrier cabs to get Nav, TV, NFL, Nascar, MMS, etc.
I'm using a 6.5 ROM on Sprint right now and everything works (and yes, the speakerphone activates when you place the phone face down, and the phone locks and backlight turns off when you place it up to your face).
Hit up ppcgeeks.com and there is a wide variety of ROMs and tweaks to choose from. It's like the xda site for CDMA devices.

Thank you all. I now get it, thanks. Sometimes I feel I should call into the Mr. Obvious show, just didn't make the connection.

I've seen this solution a few places, and I'm baffled why I'm not seeing the same thing. I navigate to: start > settings > all settings > personal > phone
but what I see on the bottom are the following tabs:
Phone | Network | CDMA Services | GSM/UMTS Services | More
I don't see anything about 'advanced,' and the 'more' tab has only settings for 'Automatic pickup.' Any ideas why I can't find the speaker option?

Go to the phone dialer screen (hit the talk button or something so the dialer comes up).
On the dialer screen, hit menu, options, advanced, and then check th ebox that says "Turn speaker on when device is placed face down during a call."

Check out this video I saw and it totally aweson Sprint TP2 Win 6.5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ll9v05PHlU

windoze 6.5 is still in junk mode. it took microsoft like 20 years to get something that looks cool and now they just have to get it to work without a huge margin of error, but i guess thats too tough for them to do. so yeah thats probably whats taking so long. sprint is like "Monk" and microsoft is like alright we narrowed it down to 230967014376 bugs which is within tolerance specs to release. everyone who games still runs xp and it hasnt been supported officially in a few years. im still going to run 6.1 till 6.5 does something more significant than increase the drop down menu to 64pt.

Hope you can help me with this

NuB with a couple of questions...

Afternoon all,
This seems an excellent place for a new XDA IIi owner to start things off! Please forgive me if I repeat anything or if I am posting in the wrong place, just let me know and I will gladly fix it.
I'm just at this stage trying to get used to the XDA and add value to it by means of software and customisation to the extent I did with my P900 and P910i which I have been using for the past 2 years. In some ways I'm finding it quite hard to get my head fully around the XDA IIi?! I actually started out with the IIs a couple of weeks ago but found it to be way too unstable and too much of a problem so I jumped over to the IIi. So far things have been better but I have a few "things" I would like to ask in the hope that someone can help me.
Erm.. where to start...
1. Ok, O2 branding, the O2 active stuff and the icon in the title bar. Can it be removed? Currently my O2 icon is just a blank whit square, it never displays properly and just makes the phone look, well, pants!
2. The headset supplied with the phone seems awful! I get lots of complaints about volume fluctuating. Does anyone else find this?
3. Can you actually just turn the phone off?? If so... how?
4. When listening to music, I cant put the phone into "sleep" mode, ie turn off the screen whilst still having the music play. Is there a way around this?
5. I use AAC music files too, I have Betaplayer which obvioulsy plays them but I cant make the phone recognise an AAC file and associate it with betaplayer... is this possible? Currently I have to open the player then open the file.
6. Firmware. Gulp.
I updated my P9xx's regularly, not without issue I suppose though! Do you guys recommend regular firmware updates?
Currently I have:
ROM Version 1.10.00 WWE
ROM date 12/24/04
Radio Version 1.00.00
Protocol Version 1337.39
ExtROM Version 1.10.124 WWE
Any advice on f/ware would be greatly appreciated. It can be such an ordeal but if its recommended I would like to do it really.
There are more things but maybe I should be quiet now and see if anyones got any comments!
Any help would be gratefully received and as soon as I get up to speed I will put back into this forum.
Thanks
Fronty.
1) The o2 branding software can easily be removed. I myself have wrtten a couple of replies to this sort of thing and so have others. If you do a search for "o2" "activeUI" "remove", you'll find the steps needed.
2) I've only used the headphones for using the phone once or twice apart from the first XDA I ever had. If you go to start > settings > system > Microphone AGC and enable the auto volume, this may help. Noone's complained about my voice being too quiet or fluctuations since I got an XDA2, never mind the 2i I have now.
3) If you tap the network signal strength, there is the option to "Turn on flight mode" - this is phone OFF. More indepth explanation of this is included in the manuals you should have with your phone. If not, I believe o2 do a .PDF you can download from www.o2.co.uk/xda
4) If you're using WMP10 then I know what you mean. On the XDA2 I used to be able to select the Contacts button as "screen off", but whenever I try this on WMP10 on the 2i it won't map the button. I prefer to use a third party program called Pocket Player 2 from Conduits (http://www.conduits.com/products/player/). It's fantastic, highly customisable and the only drawback is that it's not free. Well worth the money though. And you can turn off the screen and map other buttons during playback.
5) Can't help you on that one.
6) I always update mine once the official update from o2 comes out, though I must admit I've presently got one from the Australian o2 comparable i-Mate. It's a slightly more stable ROM but is sometimes tricky to install. There are instructions on these forums on doing it - I followed them myself. Currently there are NO official updates for you to upgrade to; you are on the most recent o2 ROM. You'll soon know when one exists, if not already from the http://www.my-xda.com/xda2i_soft.html page.
Hope this helps, please post back if you need further help.
Cheers

[Issues] Open Touch v4.0 | WM 6.1 | T-Mobile Wing!

Folks,
I'm starting this new thread since the release one is getting way too big to manager.
Please start posting issues related to my rom here, make sure they are actual issues and not user error.
Regards,
Windows Live / Hotmail Problems
Does anyone else have problems getting Windows Live to sync your hotmail? I finally got it working with the push support, but it does not allow me to download attachments. Anytime I try to download an attachment it says failed to sync. I've tried the 3 latest versions available from this board and none of them seem to work. I've also tried these combinations with both versions of biggy 4.0 to no avail. With open touch 3.0 (Windows live biggie) the Windows Live service was working perfectly. I can't imagine that having windows live built into the Rom was what made the difference. Any one have any ideas? If this is simply an unfixable bug do you know if the gmail imap works like a push client? I tried to configure gmail, but it wouldn't allow anything quicker than a check every 5 mins.
Once again thanks ttran for your hard work in creating this great rom. Without it I'd probably be an iSheep by now.
thanks in advance
Not sure if this is an operator error or the rom error but I installed the Black Dialer from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1649317&postcount=1
I followed the instructions and did a soft reset, after that the Micro v4.1 run really sloooow. I have to perform a hard reset and reinstall all the other cabs.
So is it because I installed the wrong dialer cab or is it something wrong with the Micro v4.1? Whatever reason is I hope this is a good info for other ppl, too.
Other than that the Micro v4.1 run amazing fast and I do miss the black dial from the Lite Black version

I added percent and mem feedback to the screen using QM, removed them and could not reenable htc task mgr. I want to say there used to be an option in the HTC x-button settings to show on today screen. That option is not there. Currently searching for the reg key.... will update post

Using battery status?? I get the noise while using the cpu scaler UNDERclocking below 149. If it annoys you that much raise your min to 149. Otherwise, just try setting different processor speeds...dont over do it, see if that doesnt help.
ttran...I finally resolved my problem with Pocket Nester! Turns out it was user error... I had the files on my storage card in My Documents instead of having them at the root level. I noticed that it was seeing some of the folders on the storage card but none of the ones in My Documents. I moved them to the root of the storage card and it works!
since there is talk about the dialer i thought i would ask... in OT Biggy 3.0 the dialer had buttons that were quite large.
in this version the dialer is alot better, because it has the contacts built right into it at the top. however there is alot of space between the buttons, making them too small for my fingers.
is there a skin that just makes the dialer buttons bigger without downgrading back to the 3.0 version?
great work ttran, i am running 4.0 biggy w/ cube... just fyi and no issues thus far (only been testing for 2 days though)
Radio issue?
I'm not sure if this is a radio issue or something else, but here goes.
I flashed the lite black rom late last week.
I've been running a BT GPS for a while now with this phone. I've had my BT headset paired as well. I can use both at the same time. Monday, while talking on the headset, it just ended the call spontaneously. A few minutes later, after getting a call back on, it just ended the BT portion, and I had to actually pick up the phone (Horrors!)
Today, the cell phone side seems to be having troubles. (I've not tried the BT headset again, but still running the GPS) Several times I have had a "!" next to the phone icon in place of a signal strength meter... no signal or some error. I've had connection errors with the GPRS as well.
I may try out the micro with the newer radio in it, or look more into flashing an older radio version on here.
Let me know if you need any more details.

Hi,
I'm aware of the issues with the current radio, that why I posted the old radio and splash from v3.0.
Please go back to the first page of the actual release page for v4.0 to download it.

The dialer I used for v4.0 is different than any others. I did not include it in the micro since there are so many people with different wants and needs.
Some dont like the color of the dialer, some don't like the way the buttons are too small, and etc.
Thus I just plan left it out, so you the user can install a different dialer on top of the existing one.
But I think the one you try to use does not work correctly as a cab.
I've tested the micro version by installing different dialers with success.
I will try and locate a similar dilaer to mine or just create a cab for you folks as soon as I get some free time.
I still need to post different colors for the back ground as well.
Been busy working on my personal rom which will be for version 5.0 and the other versions of 4.0.
i'm using OT 4.0 biggy vista and everytime I set the backlight option to turn off after 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds and the power to turn off in 5 minutes instead of 2 as soon as the power goes off and I turn it on it's right back to 30 seconds and 2 minutes. This ain't a major issue it's just a pain in the ass cuz i'm using slide to unlock and evry 30 seconds I have to keep unlocking it.

I personally like it that way better, That way the HTC task manager and the OK button dont overlap and creat confusion. Instead, I use Quickmenu since that has it's own task manager. It shows you what's running and you can close them as well using Quickmenu.
Take a look into it

Yes you're right. I had to hard reset the Wing since that Black dialer doesn't have the removed option. Well it's a learning experience for me too. And fortunately that v4.1 is UC, all I need to do is remove those cabs from the SDConfig.txt file and re-run it again and voila all the cabs I need is back on the Wing.
Can't wait till you post the cab for the dialer.
So far I love the Lite Black but I like the speed on the Micro better. That's why I try to get the Micro as much closer to the Lite Black as possible.
1 more thing I notice on the Micro, after installed "JUVS HTC Home.v2_1_1005722_s0" cab sometime when I switch back to the home the area where the HTC Home should be got "scramble" for about 2 sec. I still try to duplicate it and report back. It already happened to me 2 times today.
now people have to read 2 threads for 1 rom....... mhhhhhhh.
Just can say Thanks for your great rom.!
It runs perfect..

HTC s640 Windows Mobile 6.1 Release Date?

Hi folks,
Does anyone have information RE: the release date for WinMo 6.1 for the HTC s640? The Touch got its update a few weeks back, can we expect the same?
Telus is promising an update for RevA capability, I assume this will come with 6.1.
Im interested to know as well, been waiting.. and waiting... and waiting and getting very tired. When will we enjoy the upgrage?
Pretty stupid we haven't seen an update for the S640 yet! Telus doesn't even have any 6.1 Smartphone Standard devices... something that I find awefully wierd considering their promotion of WM devices and smartphone in general. This is seriously stupid. Even the old crusty S620 has the WM6.1 upgrade kicking around for it!
ya, new update came out.
and it's a wm6 update.
lol
nice telus.
I just installed the update on my phone. GPS still doesn't work for me; a Telus rep told me it would be included in this update.
No WM6.1 and no GPS. I am very disappointed by this.
quick update... I was able to get GPS working on my s640 using the instructions/apps found in this post: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36639
When using the GetSPC app on your phone, enter your HEX ESN in the top input box, push the left key twice until you don't see a cursor, then click the middle button. There is an "invisible" go button that the s640 doesn't display in this app... it should generate your SPC in the lower box.
I'm able to use both Gmaps and Live Maps w/ GPS now.
Enjoy!
I can verify Tatusmi success with his GPS, I updated my s640 via HTC's website, and followed along the instructions from the link he provided and the SPC program (after figuring it out it was case sensitive).
Good work Tatusmi, a feature that should have always been active now works.
I got the above to work )for a telus s640(. (although I lost everything on my phone because my activesync was messed).
But the HTC update to 3.0 worked great. The GPS enabled instructions worked flawlessly. I got google maps to find 10+ gps signals and was able to find my location.
but, I can't get TOMTOM to work. Won't find the internal GPS
NAV4all just sucks.
I am working on Garmin mobile XT to try it out - but I keep getting stuck with it triing to find a bluetooth unit. And it doesn't give the option to choose internal or com port or nothing.
any ideas?
nevermind, I got garmin to work.
Just couldn't get it to work automatically with some card id or something.
had to open garmin. go to settings -> about -> and the cardid is listed there.
once that is good, everything shows up properly.
I can write WM6.1 rom for s640. My ICQ - 731889 - write to me.
strik3r, I don't use ICQ anymore... can't you post here or use PMs?
Glad I could help you guys with the GPS!
I dont know about anyone else , But id be more excited to see Android on this device then 6.1 .... dont get me wrong winmo is a good plat. But Android would be killer ..
Ive been doing a little research .. and the Htc Vogue has a android version running and you can fallow the few steps to get it running with haret . well kinda .
Anyway just curious to know if anyone else has had any luck with linux on this device or anyone willing to help getting linux running on this device .

I've received confirmation from telus that they're not going to upgrade the Iris's rom. apparently there were compatibility issues, but i don't buy it.
I think someone should do this themselves, much akin to what seems to have been done in the other forums to other phones aka the 620. I'd do it but I really have no idea where to start.

I also received confirmation from Telus that this phone would never see WinMo 6.1, nor would any of their other existing WinMo Standard devices.
The line they gave you about compatibility is bull though, I called HTC about it and they said there is absolutely no reason why this phone can't run 6.1, it has more than the minimum required hardware.
I'd love to see a cooked version of 6.1 for the phone, but I also don't know where to start. I also don't use ICQ anymore so I can't seek out striker's help. Andrioid would be neat too, I don't have any experience with it... but anything is better than tired ole WinMo 6.
Well what a pissoff. 6.1s so nice. Makes me angry I didn't get a touch
IT WORKS on TELUS S640 with GOOGLE MAPS!!!
Thanks for all the information , I could not locate the driver that was listed in c:\windows\system32\drivers so I found drivers that work. Awsome, thanks everyone. Just a side note to take the phone out of diagnostic mode just ##3424 then hit "send" (same as to put into diag mode).
Confirmation on S640 GPS
i just want to confirm, so the s640 tweak for the gps, worked for telus s640.
i just need to confirm that once this is done, i would be able to use google maps to get my location using the internal gps of the phone or how ?
cause right now i am using a bluetooth gps to get navigation on my winmo. with out having to do anything to the Registrer or any other tweaks.
can you please confirm

Crazy week at work means I won't be able to flash my phone any time soon (I forward work to it). But I'm curious of a few things when someone does flash their phone.
If you use any of the following apps, do they still work?
- CHome Weather 1.2 (NRG MiniWeather)
- CHome Configurator
- Tasks Panel
The same app unlock method is reported to work, that's good news.
Help, I upgarde my phone to WM6.5, but my original OS was in Spanish and was from Telcel company (Mexico).
It Change the layoout of my keys, my applications, etc.
How can I remove ATT content and remap my keys layout to spanish?

I did the upgrade. Not much to get excited about. It doesn't bring much along with it at this time, except for maybe some bug fixes.
CHome Configurator works... sort of. There is a minor glitch in mine in that it hides one of the collapsed panels, but shows it when it is the main panel. Its kind of weird, as it is just a blank space placeholder in that one slot. Its like the panels are overlapping or something, maybe. And it seems to slow the phone down, as well. Like its thinking about something, constantly.
I'm trying to figure out how to get Titanium like the non-touch HTC guys have. That actually looks better, I think. (If anyone has a link, let me know?)
I Just flashed mine, will try to udate on what I notice besides the new orange startup/shutdown windows logo and a beep.
So far what I have observed (will update as I come across them):
_________________________
1. Seem to be running slow even after formatting and rebooting.
2. Contacts now display their pic while browsing in the contact view. pretty cool
3. Phone will remember the last contact highlighted unless you quit the program in task mgr.
4. Can now create groups using contacts.
5. Can't *SMS* or MMS to more than 10 contacts at a time, even while using PowerSMS. WTF?! Hopefully I put in a weird setting somewhere, anyone know how to bypass that limit for SMS?

nice find! I am now incented to get pictures of all my contacts...
The sending SMS 10 contact limit (even with PowerSMS which worked on 6.1) is killing me!!! I browsed the registry and didn't see anything obvious. This blows!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know you cannot delete those settings but you can disable with the modaco nodata program, then load the settings for Telcel and works fine.

The best way that I have found to unlock the GPRS is by finding UAMgr.exe in the windows directory, create a shortcut to it in My Documents and click it to run it. Choose menu, tools, then choose unlock gprs. you should now be able to change the settings and also add connections.
Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know what happens to the i637 Jack after WM 6.5 upgrade in regards to being locked to AT&T?
I bought the phone in the US, convinced AT&T to unlock it for me and I am now using it overseas with the local Wireless Phone Provider. Will the phone remain unlocked or will it lock back to AT&T after this upgrade from WM 6.1 to WM 6.5?
Thanks

SIM unlocking stays across ROM updates.
Question!
What happen if during upgrade your phone disconnects and not turn on? Do invalid warranty? Is there a way to repair it?
*.bin files ??

Do you mean that I will need to call AT&T after I upgrade to WM6.5 and ask them to unlock the phone again to be able to use other SIM cards in it?
I guess I just don't understand how the provider can "lock" the phone so no other SIMs can be used on it.

once unlocked, it stays unlocked after flashing a new ROM. There is no need to get ATT to do it again.
Anyone figure out the 10 contact limit for sending SMS on WM 6.5 for the Jack yet?
I upgraded my i637 to WM 6.5 this weekend. All is good except for the annoying delay on the home screen when the phone goes to sleep.
When you press the power button to wake the phone up it takes a good 2 seconds before the clock is shown. That did not happen under WM 6.1
I saw a fix for the WM6.5 Lockscreen Delay http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=527219 but it did not do anything for the screen wakup delay on the Jack. Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful.

I've noticed the same thing. Lame.
Also, the Home Screen is displaying the wrong softkey menu items (messaging Reply/Menu instead of Start/Contacts) periodically for no reason. Annoying. The only perceived benefit from the 6.5 update appears to be battery life, from everybody's feedback. It certainly isn't a better OS.

Sleepy Sprint CMDA after upgrade

I am having problems with a Sprint HTC TP2 after doing the 6.1 to 6.5 upgrade. I have had it into Sprint repair twice and hard reset it about 6 times. There are two problems I am encountering:
1) for about 2 minutes to 30 minutes at a time I cannot turn the unit on. The flashing green light is out during this time. I can call the phone and it wakes up, but you cannot wake it with any of the buttons. The reset button does not work either. You can pull the battery and that will reset it. Sometimes in this phase the white light behind the hard keys will light if you pull out the stylus, not always.
2) at random times the phone software gets really slow. For example, the flippity floppty clock animation will hang up and not move for 30-60 seconds, then it will move a little and eventually it will catch up. Other apps will do similar things, the clock is the obvious because of the animations.
This has occurred even right after a hard reset, within a few minutes. With no additional apps loaded (as Sprint told me the first time that was the problem.)
Sprint unofficially told me to downgrade it back to 6.1 using a variety of websites to follow, and officially told me to contact HTC support and gave me their 800 number.
Thoughts? Anyone else having this problem? Advice?
Being a Sprint corporate employee at a service and repair center, continue to go into the store if it is convenient for you to do so. Every eTicket they create builds a case for them to replace your TP2 with a new one. I would strongly suggest using Microsoft MyPhone to back up your information so if they do swap you out, you just need to log into MyPhone and sync your information.
The issue is with Sense
I experienced the same issues with the Sleep of Death in the device and had to remove the batteries everytime I finished a call. I got tired so I reflashed the phone, set it up and hard reset it again.
The problem persisted. I would have to click on the windows buttom and then could not click on the Today or Settings tab( I woud just hang there!) Then I disabled the SENSE UI and worked with the 6.5 default settings and no more lockup issues. Also, installed SPB Mobile Shell and it worked for 3 days without issues.
This makes me suspect the SENSE and HTC apps are causing the lockups. I am interested if other people are experiencing these issues. I installed MAX Manilla 2.5 two days ago and the device seesm to be stable. The only time I have issues is when I update the contact tab. It locks up, but that is not a function of Max Manilla but the core HTC contact app.
Had my phone for a week with Sense 2.5 and WM 6.5, stock. No problems like the ones mentioned in the thread yet...
It all depends on what you use your phone for. Try my ROM, see link below...
Sprint 6.5 Rom issues
There have actually been some similar issues with the new sprint 6.5 however, not to the extent of the phone having actually been stuck in sleep mode. Some things I can recommend that may help is to check your task manager frequently because programs don't fully close when you exit out of them. In addition to this you should consider installing cleanram which helps clear up memory. I’m not allowed to post the link because I’m still a new member however just follow this thread...
xda-developers > Windows Mobile Development and Hacking > Windows Mobile Apps and Games
[APP]htcAddicts - cleanRAM v2.1 (RAM Cleaner)
Also, there seems to be an issue with the manila 2.5 sense and the htc clock, if you have the htc clock open it can run sluggish at times..But I recommend that you pull up you quick tabs and minimize your htc clock for the sense 2.5 to run faster. Lastly keep the stock plain black screen saver because if you use a custom or different background the system can run slower.
I too also have the sprint tp2, and the 6.1 rom is considered to be one of the fastest and most stable rom for cdma tp2s. However, the downfall is the downgrade :/...
I have also worked for sprint corporate repair center, what might help and save you time before going to the repair center would be to call the technical support to see if they could solve your issue. Because by doing this a ticket is already created and the tech will be able to see the troubleshooting that was done. In addition to this repairs can be difficult and frustrating at times due to the fact that the problem that you’re having must be repeatable in order for sprint to repair or replace your phone (it really depends on the repair center). If you find that you continue to have errors with your sprint 6.5 rom, I would recommend trying other Roms to see if the issue is in fact the rom or the device...
Hope this can help!

Sprint 6.5
Thank you for the good advice. I took my device into a store and they did the usual hard reset ( cannot reproduce the issue) process. I sat there and activesynched with Exchange server , made a call and had the phone locked up two times. I do have over 1000 contacts in my list ( Business, clients and my consultants!)
The tech said he had never seen this issue and ordered me a new device.I use the Clean Ram and task manager programs. I also ran a process explorer in the device and it finds Manilla to be the culprid of the issues. So I have installed Mobile Shell and am using that until my replacement arrives.
As I sat in the store there were 4 people with HTC TP2 with unresponsive screens. All 6.5 roms.
Sprint WM6.5
I have no idea what all the hype was about or what I'm missing in this upgrade. IT'S HORRIBLE!!! It's almost 10% cosmetic and 90% buggy. In my opinion, WM6.1 was stable, fast, and professional looking. The upgrade has done nothing for me in terms of productivity. It has turned my phone into a cartoonish, VERY sluggish, and a freeze worthy POS!!! I despise this upgrade, the colors, the themes, and most of--the stupid, sloppy, rolodex-like clock.
Anyone know where I could find the necessary information to 'downgrade' back to WM6.1???

WM6.1 is always faster than WM6.5. Besides WM6.1 has sense 2.1, which is faster than sense 2.5.
Downgrade 6.1
