Now that I have found out that it is possible to auto rotate any app with adding two entries in the registry, I have a problem with TomeRaider3, I can't get it to work, so perhaps someone can help me out, please.
This is what I have done:
Go to: HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSensor/
In "ModuleName" I made a new String called "TomeRaider3" with value data: \Programme\TomeRaider3\TomeRaider3AU.exe
In "Whitelist" i made a new String called "TomeRaider3" with the value "Dialog"
Then a Softreset and nothing happens.
I have made this for apps like TomTom, Resco Explorer, ListPro and it worked very well, except for TomeRaider.
I think the problem is that I don't get a working WindowClassName for this app with the help of the tool gsen for the Whitelist entry.
Everytime I start the tool I get somethink like Afx:097465:0 with different numbers every time.
With the tool getactiveclass I get the value "Dialog", but it won't work, also with a blank value no success.
I don't know exactly for what the whitelist entry is responsible for.
So please can anybody help me out, 'cause it's my last app to get to auto rotate and I don't want to use a tool for this.
Thanx in advance, any help is appreciated
no one ?
Edit: I have found the solution for TomeRaider and have posted it in thread linked from nighthawk, thank you
Try following this...

It might be that certain applications either don't handle the rotation, or ignore it/force it to remain in one orientation...
He's fixed it. There's a comment on the thread linked above, by Nighthawk.

I've spent a good half hour searching for the answer to this and can't find it. Find posts on everything else under the sun, but not this. I want to make the PocketCM Keyboard into my default input panel. I know I've seen it before but I can't for the life of me find it. I tried using Registry Wizard to do it earlier and only ended up completely trashing my phone and making it non-bootable. So that's obviously NOT the answer.
Edit: This program seems to be the answer, SIPChange
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271008
Search for program called SIPChange.
If You experience problems finding it, give me a message.
Thanks! That was what I needed. I got it now. I went ahead and edited the first post with the fix in case anyone else needs it.
Has anyone figured out why the Shut Down button on psShutXP only turns the phone's screen off? Can anyone help fix it?
Hermes by any chance? Do you have a poweroffwarning.exe in the windows folder? Mine doesn't, and I've had no luck getting it working either. It seems that it is done differently using gwes.exe on my phone.

i think it is because htc removed the shutdown command from the library. Try dave shaws xda-shutdown. It calls the shutdown.exe and actually allows you to shut the phone down.
go here to grab a copy
I really like psShutXP though. Therefore, I am determined to fix it. Holyfox created a VGA fix. From what I've gathered in other forums, psShutXP simply calls up the wrong exe in some devices (in my case, the Kaiser). All I need to do is change the path for the shut down function right? This will be my first "programing venture." I know a lot about every aspect of computers and programing except for the actual programing.
I could really use some guidance if anyone is willing to point me in the right direction. Im not asking for a hand out. I have checked the registry as well as trying to decompile the exe. I am using resource tuner, which I played around editing MS Calculator and it was fairly simple. However, when I went to edit psShutXp.exe, the only things of significance that I only saw are the gif file and a dialog box for the timer. Neither of them actually help me. The only other files i can tell that are associated with the program are to readme.txt files.
Once again, I am not asking for you to do this for me. I want to learn. Any guidance would be helpful! Thanks in advance.
I think Aserg has got it working. Didnt test it yet myself coz I dont have access to downloading from office. But you can check out his post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1141775&postcount=168

Thanks! I can't download until I get home either. I'll check it out then!
I realized that I know almost NOTHING about my phone!! My word completion is not working correctly...all the websites I've gone to say something about changing the registry values...but I have NO CLUE how to get to that, let alone change it! Please someone explain this to me step by step! I had the Tilt before this and I loved word completion! Thanks

There's a fix you can find somewhere that disables T9. That's what causes the Fuze's weird word completion. However, by using this fix to get the Tilt's style of word completion you will lose the hardware symbol key (it won't work anymore). I will upload the cab later. I think I need to download it again

I am kind of new here but I did find setting about word completion
start/setting/input/option/T9 setting
there are some check boxes that say word completion try enabling or disabling them and see if that helps.
There is a program called total Commander that has a registry editor just Google it to find it
To the best of my knowledge there is no working solution.
I tried the registry changes ages ago that turned off the crappy t9 but it fecked up the full size software keyboard, when I clicked on the numbers tab it refused to go back to the abc option and I had to hard reset, changing the reg keys made no difference.
Other tweaks ended up auto completing words even when I didn't want them to.
Hope you get lucky, if you do, please post back
here's the solution: http://www.fuzemobility.com/autocorrect-and-autocompletion-solved/
Opps
I lied- sorry- it is fixable
haven't checked the link above but here is a soluion that i had tried previously and it now works perfectly.

read post 65 and 67
This solution will require free and instant registration with ppcgeeks to download the cab file but you just transfer it to your phone, navigate to it and click on it- no need to play with the registry.
Kudos to goodthings2life at ppcgeeks
First let me say I have tried the registry edit fix and it did not work. I simply do not have have nor does it show owner information in the today, items tab. I have soft reset after each change and no icon nor any entry. I also dont have a "me" entry in my contacts. I have some third party software I have purchased and now they have defaulted to trial versions because I can't input any owner information. This is a real problem for me and I would greatly appreciate any and all knowledge in this problem. I have a sprint HTC touch pro 2 that was upraded from 6.1 to 6.5.
Owner information..
Took me a little time to find it.......Programs/Settings/Menu/All Settings/Personal/Owner Information .....
Use the one from Sense...under sense settings tab. If you insist!

Read the above post, and it has owner info. You need to remove the redirect key using one of the registry editors, and soft reset.

I have G-alarm, the best and highly customizable alarm program for wm6.x devices, and it requires owners info for activation after the trial period. Because I have a Sprint Touch Pro2 that I upgraded to wm6.5, the owner's info was missing in my phone too. So I contacted Ageye, the developer of G-alarm, and he gave me a website that he made to correct this problem in different ways. My favorite way is to do the following:
Use a registry editor (e.g. the free "PHM Registry Editor") and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Owner. You should find a key called "Hide". Please change its value from "1" to "0" and restart your device. Now you should be able to find the owner settings.
Ageye has other simple alternatives that you can read about by going to his link. Good luck with yours.

the shortcut dont want to start because of he is not trusted with certificate. should i do something else?
you'll need to edit the registry to allow unsigned apps to run without a confirmation screen.
schaps advanced config 3.3 has the option in it.
Or there are probably a few cabs around here somewhere, to change just the one thing, if you can find them.
Did you install mortscript?

a .cab is an installation file for ppc.
the '...not signed with a trusted certificate...' error is a safeguard put in place by Microsoft, to allow only official apps to be run, freeware hasn't paid MS to include a certificate, so most people disable the check in the registry. All custom ROMs do this as standard, most experienced people will disable it immediately upon buying a new phone, and seeing as this has been around for several years, most cab files are probably on the older forums.
Anyway, as already mentioned, schapp's advanced config 3.3 has the option to disable it.
Just google any phrase you want with 'xda' at the start to search this site, or add a 'search this site' button to your toolbar.
