I got a HTC fuze the other day to replace my iphone. I am having a problem with the wifi connection. In order to connect my phone to my home wifi, i have to reset my router everytime. When its connected, it says connected. But when the phone goes to standby mode and restarts back up, the wifi does not work. I have to reset my router to get it to work. It does end up connecting in the end, but its a pain to reset it everytime. my laptops and iphone work just fine on the same network, is there setting that is wrong.
i already perfomed a hard reset on phone, I disabled the proxy. but still this occurs, what could it ?
Am I the only one having this problem?
Have you tried connecting the phone to a different wireless router? If you have to reset the router it points to something on the router. If you had to reset the phone every time instead I would say it was the phone. I would make sure you have the newest firmware on your phone and router.

I've had this problem for a while now, but hoped it may had been fixed when upgrading to a WM6.1 ROM, but it hasn't.
After a bit of wireless usage (don't know how long) the wireless router stops responding. It's like it crashes.
I'm using a Dlink 524. I have to go unplug the router, and plug it back it to reset it.
I also have 2 other laptops on the same network, and they are connected to the wireless network 24/7 for weeks on end with no problems.
But when I connect with my phone/wifi, it crashes my router.
I don't even know where to start looking to fix this problem... Any ideas?
So I just rooted my phone today at my friend's house, I used his wifi just fine, no hickups. I don't have a service plan at the moment, so the only way I'm even using it is over wifi. Well when I got home, I tried connecting to my wpa2 secured network and I can't connect. What happens is the phone recognizes my network, I put in the passkey and it just sits and does nothing. I connected to it before I rooted my phone (and then this started happening once I changed some settings, but I figured it'd be a moot issue once I rooted.)
So far I can't get it to connect.
Any ideas as to what's going on?
Ok so I updated to ICS yesterday and it was working great, then I decided to do a reset to factory reset and now it won't maintain the connection to my WI-fi.
my phone and laptop do maintain a connection to my WiFi so i know it's not my wireless router. My transformer does connect for a brief second and then it loses it right away and it keeps trying to obtain ip, then connects then disconnects and so on so forth.
Anyone know the problem?
Oh yeah and my tf101 is not rooted, 100% stock.
Thanks,
Elton

I have having an issue connecting to a duel band (5ghz) Wireless N network. The other network is G+N (2.4ghz). I was on Prime 2.1.1 and I believe it was able to connect to the duel band N network without issue.
Mine is a dual Netgear G+N and I can't connect to either one, this is too weird. My brother has the same tablet and his also says "problem authenticating" same as mine.
Ok so I did a reset 3 times and I reset my router and now it works.
Simple fix: restart router
the wifi is broken.....
Hi,
I have a problem with wifi connection on Honor 8 (FRD-L09C432B399, EMUI 5.0.1) - I have no problem to connect to wifi networks, but wifi is spontaneously shutted down regardless of whether I am connected or not on router/modem. The wifi switch is still on (blue), but all visible networks disappear, the phone disconnects from the connected network, and it takes a few seconds before the phone finds networks again and automatically connects to the known network. I made a factory reset, but without success, rather it seems to me that the situation has worsened and wifi fails nearly every 10 seconds.
Any suggestions how to fix this problem? Thx.

Are you sure, 'Keep wifi off, during sleep' isnt set to 'Always'? As you already have resetted to factory set it shouldnt be. Although please verify.
Yes, it is; also 'Wi-Fi+' is dissabled.
Just bought this Moto G Fast phone today, brand new, and I'm having issues connecting to Wi-Fi. Whenever I attempt to connect to a Xfinity Wi-Fi access point, it attempts to connect and tells me sign-in is required. I get to the screen where I enter in the username and password, but it then disconnects me from the access point, and takes me off the sign-in page before I can enter in the information. This happens in an endless loop. Never staying connected for more than a few seconds before it disconnects and reconnects.
I tried doing a factory reset multiple times.
I tried forgetting all wi-fi networks.
I have tried resetting the wi-fi, Bluetooth, and wireless network settings.
I tried doing a hardware Wi-Fi test, and get the green check mark.
I tried turning off my phone, waiting for thirty seconds, and turning back on my phone with the issue still existing.
I have tried resetting my phone multiple times.
I have removed my SIM card and reinserted it.
I can use my computer to connect to this Xfinity Wi-Fi access point, and then use my computer as Wi-Fi hotspot. My phone is then able to connect to my computer to access Wi-Fi to this Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot indirectly. It however cannot connect directly to it by itself.
I'm able to connect to other Wi-Fi access points without issues, it's just Xfinity Wi-Fi access point near my home that I can no longer connect to. My computer however is able to connect to this same exact Xfinity Wi-Fi access point without issue. The connection from my computer to the Xfinity Wi-Fi access point is stable, I'm able to watch YouTube videos etc on it. However for whatever reason, sitting at the SAME exact desk my computer is at with my phone, my phone isn't able to maintain a constant connection for more than a few seconds.
I don't have physical access to the router.
Thanks for any help! I have the feeling I should just return the phone, but I don't want to pay the $49 restock fee, and this seems to be a software issue, and not a hardware issue, so I'm not sure anything is wrong with the device from a hardware perspective.
