Check the last few pages on that thread, there seems to be an issue with this app and the HD2 (incoming voice records at a low volume), hopefully it'll be resolved soon.
If voice on the other end is recorded at low volume it means that the program or tweak simply doesn't work, and the microphone registers vibration from the speaker...
i hope any one succeeded to register both sides well on hd2 plz hopefully tell us , im realy missed it from hd and now the leo dont work!!!!!--???????
ACR Time Bomb
ACR code had a time bomb which went off somewhere in mid 2011, ACR is not working anymore.
Device HTC HD2
ACR Tested - ACR 1.2.4, 1.2.5 and ACR HD 0.0.14
Nothing works. 1.2.4 and 0.0.14 gives Fatal Error and 1.2.5 gives a "Select storage" error"
this is my ACR what I use, and works perfectly:
Works for me too using stock rom
you can try Resco Audio Recorder.

Video calling finally,
Hi guys, we have video calling available where I live now…finally… and news about the possibility of having it with the new WM6, please say yes…
yesssss,

@Laurentius26
What does it mean?..That your link down?..that you make it to incorporate video call function? Your Vanilla here still works perfect and very stabile.Instead of Resco I hope there will be video call to test.
The best ROM for now (very verry similar to Grayme..)

Possibility? Yes. But it's still going to take some time. No one is still able to figure out how to make Video call work on WM6 for the Universal. For now, we're stuck on WM5. But Patience is a virtue.

p.s changed the title to avoid confusion, i though someone had cracked it

Is'nt it strange when the world is moving towards 3G video calling UMTS we all have converted our hands sets to 2G by upgrading to wm6 and loosing out to video calling.
The wait is getting desperate we need the video calling fast for the 3G network and for the crossbow wm6 version specially the UNiversal.

I think full duplex (both ways @ same time) I couldn't test it.. waiting for my TC.
I am using Resco Recorder and only my voice will be recorded...
If you have it on loudspeaker it will pick up 2 way conversation. In handset mode it will only record your voice not the callers, well it does but very very quietley.
Unless someone knows different how to do this.

Several people mentioned Vito AudioNotes... sorry, I can't say it will work, though... still waitin' for my polaris
Don't bother trying Vito AudioNotes, just tried it, it only records one side, just like the rest of the apps. And yea, i know this is an old thread, but someone may wanna know this anyway.
Is there a solution for 2side call records on Polaris yet?
Hey all
It's my first post... and i hope i post in the right sub-forum...
i've recieved my xda orbit 2 and im really happy with this phone !
But i need VoIP, and i can't install / activate it. How do i make that? i've searched the forums and i installed following:
SetupVoIP_v0.3.CAB 94.2 KB
witch i found posted by mahmood here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355277
Installation was fine, but everytime i start it i get a error... i've tried a softreset, deinstallation, reinstallation, new downloaded and reinstalled but everytime the same error... can anyone help me?
oh... have completly another question: what is GPS Foto? What does it exactly make?
GPS Photo is a picture with embedded GPS coordinates, so you can see in progs like Google Earth where the picture was taken. Pretty cool feature

VOIP in France
I've bought a HTC Cruise to use it on VOIP with the WIFI but I try a lot of software and the result is poor.
I 've a neufbox with neuf talk ability and I prefer WM6 VOIP because it's not necessary to use another keyboard and contact list to phone.
First one I remove the SFR rom and use these rom : "Polaris_WWE_0.54_Full_bepe.rar" in english plus "WM6VoiP.CAB" and "SetupVoiP_v0.3.CAB" result phone connection , numerotation I listen but the other part listen nothing .
If I try to use fring the two part are listening but with a poor sound quality and a 30 seconds maximum duration !!!
I 've try neuf talk mobile : nothing to listen.
I want to know if somebody can used the VOIP in France ?
thanks
I prefer WM6 VoIP as well, Fring was not working at all with my provider sipgate. I could only receive calls from a landline within the first 10 minutes. After that I had to restart Fring to receive calls again. When I phoned people outside the UK Fring disconnected me after 32 seconds. The only disadvantage with WM6 VoIP is that the sound is a bit quiet but I can hear people well using the USB headset.
I got the VoIP running by installing the WM6VoiP.CAB first. Then done a soft reset and installed Sip Config Tool 2.0.1 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=303493.

I use Skype from time to time.
It works pretty fine for me and for my interlocutor.
Of course, it's more expensive than the others VOIP providers but results are OK.
@+
I use SIPgate which works well on the TC, using the standard VOIP cabs I found on this forum.
I am using the native WM6VoiP.CAB together with SetupVoiP_v0.3.CAB on the original WWE Rom and having VOIPStunt as a SIP provider.
It seems to work, however the sound quality is rather poor compared to when I use VoipStunt from my laptop, "internet calling" is in searching stat all the time, but still I can use VOIP normally, that is probably a windows bug.
Also when the Wi-Fi is used and the phone turns off its monitor after 1 minute, I lose the connection. Any suggestions how to help it.

You can download it (from the download section) and use it for free (or with an account just like skype)after registering for free as a Free Member from here : http://web2.telme.sg/cedel/index.php?option=mod_joinus
With "Route 60" activated (as a distributor) u can even call for free to 60 countries on fixed phones (from which 6 countries on fixed AND MOBILES for free)
I call then free from mi 3gphone to fixed phones, to 3gphones and also even to computers having the correspondent software from Telme installed (Deskcall NG)

Starting a new thread is always questionable but this is something quite new
and it seems that still many people don't know about ICR-breakthrough on HTC devices. As I know, the first working ICR on HTC was in some custom HD-ROM and smart people managed to extract necesary contents and built cabs from it. For those who want theory and more info - search HD and Diamond forum.
Something important: all the glory belongs to those who extracted parts from the HD-ROM and gave following files to us. I only put those files and my experiences with it together for Raphael owners.
I tried to get it working on my stock 1.9 ROM but no succes after so many attempts so it might seem it doesn't work on it - but I'm not sure. I always achieved only recording both sides via mic.
Now, when I flashed the elite-RC3 I tried few steps and it really works. It works the "inner-way", absollutely not via mic, recordings are clear and very good quality! Some steps are probably redundant but .. I made it this way and it works..
1. install this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=145688&d=1231739428
(it's from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3155880&postcount=87 )
2. extract this to windows directory:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=145698&d=1231743323
(it's from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3156069&postcount=91 )
3. soft reset
4. make a call and start recording when calling from dialer's menu - it won't work now,but do it
5. uninstall the cab from step nr. 1
6. soft reset
7. install this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=145741&d=1231759945
(it's from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3156859&postcount=10 )
8. soft reset ..and it should work
Why install and then uninstall? Maybe this is redundant but it seems it makes some needed changes to registry - but you can try it without it, I will NOT hard-reset my Raphael to figure out
Btw I had problems with Resco audio recorder, it didn't recognize end of the call and device crashed many times. Vito Audio notes touch works great.
EDIT:
step 0. for those who still can't see the record option in dialer: you can try one from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3124498&postcount=76
Anyone who tries any method leave a comment here please (with ROM version you have) so the ROMs-developers can obtain this info and eventually add ICR to their new ROMs. Thanks
EDIT2:
------
ROM-specific sollutions based on your feedback:
-elite-RC3: install the latest update from elite-RC3 thread - that's all
-NATF 4.0 & 4.1: use method in post #29 (or #63 - with no dialer included = for 3rd party audio recorders only)
-RomeOS2 1.60.2: use method in post #37 or #89
-stock 1.93: use method in post #29
-2.01.415.3 WWE: use the first (multistep) method above
--still no luck for stock 1.90, NATF 4.2 and any CDMA-ROM
--results with other ROMs weren't reported (or maybe I overlooked them - let me know)
Very appetizing but a bit too experimental and scary. Anyone else tried this?
Will uninstallation restore stuff?
Let us know if anyone gets this to work on a ROM other than Elite-RC3.
interesting method and I think i know some of the reasons why it works, I may have an alternative but I want compare first. Thanks for sharing
The method i use is just install monx's cab and then go to the registry HKLM\Software\HTC\ICR\Recmicgain (don't know the exact title) delete it and soft reset.
Where is the audio saved?
I have a Titan lying around that I can try it on if you think it will work on that. If it's experimental, I'll wait to install it on my Touch Pro. It's not activated, but I can call *611 and record that conversation.
Okay, I did everything written above to the "T". It didn't work on the Titan (maybe it's different for the Touch Pro). I didn't run into any critical problems, it just didn't record. When I try to record, I noticed the audio from the call goes out, and comes back on when I stop recording. When I play the recording, I only hear the input from the mic. This is the case with the standard notes recorder, and with Vito Audio Notes.
If someone wants to try it on their Touch Pro, let us know if it works!
tried on my TP....didn't work for me. I have v5 of the slide to answer Touch HD phone pad. I know the post only shows v4, but I grabbed a copy before he pulled v5 and since it worked, i didn't bother to load v4. Maybe this is why I don't see a record option anywhere? Do I need v4.......do I need to load up vito notes? thanks ...

you should have ICR control panel in programs menu after installation. There you can configure recording format and if you want to save recordings to main memory or to storage card. But I recommend to use some other - autorecording app.
Important notice: some people reported that they have to run ICR from dialer once to enable recording in other apps. It's uncertain if this has to be done after each soft reset..
For those who want to try this with other ROM : you must install some other dialer, I didn't have the recording option in the original one. As I remember, I installed S2A dialer from somewhere and it had this option.

followed the above procedures again after installing v4 of the dialer posted above and I still don't see an option to record during a phone call. Do I have to click on note or something? Strange....
has anyone tried this on a CDMA TP?
no luck on Verizon raphael
I tired this on my Vierzon Touch Pro but I get the same results. The other side is faint because it's being recorded via the microphone and not internally. How do you get the phone to record the audio internally and not via the mic? I did everything the original poster said. I'm using the scrosler 3.0 ROM.
This worked for me. No problems yet. Although I might add, both times it recorded correctly. When you said to record it, it would not work, but do it anyways. It seemed to work for me. Thought I'd let everyone know.

It really looks like it's working only on some ROMs. Obviously some new components the elite-ROM developers used are required. Something from HD-ROM?
Anyway if someone next gets it to work please leave comment here with info which ROM & Radio you have.

so I’ve been paying attention to all of these threads and I think I’ve got ICR working (the first link worked pretty good. The other person is not very loud though). What I would LOVE is if I could get
ICR to start automatically for every call I make and receive. Is there any reg edit or program that will do this for me. The reason for this is I have a brain like Swiss cheese, I can’t remember anything. If I can record every phone call without having to remember to hit the record button every time, this phone will be able to do one more thing that makes my life that much easier.
In another thread someone sugested resco. it has the feature i want, but the recording is terrible. it records through the mic. i just wish i could get thhat feature with ICR.
Somewhere in the blackstone forum someone posted a registry tweak that would let resco use the default ICR component, so properly record the other end of the convo, cant remember the topic though, sorry! (just letting you know its possible)
There was some tweak whereby you used the built in ICR first, and then use the resco product, and it worked, not too sure though.
Cheers,
Mike.
