I have a G4 prophet with the following info
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 3.08.0001
GSM 02.47.21
OS 10.0.0.0
What I would like to know is can the SPL be downgraded as it seems to be causing a few problems that I did not have before. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I'm going to be crazy, The last 8 hours I tryed several times to change, update to the last Dopod ROM, I mean IPL 2.15 _ SPL 2.15.0001 but no way. Please somebody willing to help me.
Now I can find on welcome screen this information:
IPL 2.09

OS 2.15.13.27

Now I downloading the ROM you mentioned in your post, the ROM with no vendor id. As soon as I finish I'll post the result.

IPL 2.09 to 2.15
SPL 2.15.0000 to 2.15.0001
My device is already CID unlock. I' ready to make every change you tell me. Please, I try several ROMS without efford!!!
i find that the number of IPL shown in bootloader is 1.000....

is there any problem to upgrade to AKU3.3.?....
i did a little search in this forum...and IPL for the others are always 2.xx.00x...
i know that i have a G3 modal....and i 've unlock the CID...(but i wonder if i did it successfully...)...

I've experienced it but no solution unfortunately...
There should be no problem, just make sure you update to a 2.20 ROM first before you start upgrading to an AKU3.x or WM6 ROM
My IPL after unlocking and upgrading to WM6 remains 1 but SPL is 2..how to make both of them 2?

mine had a plan upgrade IPL/SPL to 3.08
haven't tried it...
but mine already aku 3.3
it works fine..as he said,don't forget upgrade to aku 2.2 as "starters"
what's the purpose and benifit to ungrader over IPL 1.0?
exe read what do IPL and SPL mean in the WIKI, it is like the BIOS of the mainboard in PC, basic inpot output system
I did as you suggested and found nothing regarding IPL SLP in the wiki. Lots of link on there does not display anything when clicked.

Hello, My English is not please not bad so well thus its. I am quite again and have several questions. Which is IPL and SPL on the boat screen on my MDA Vario? I wanted it gladly bottles however it went not as I wanted. My Bootscreem data is:
IPL 1.01
SPL 3.08
GSM 02.25.11
OS 2.26.10.2
If you have downgraded by flashing Button's Rom 1.05 for CID unlocking,then reflash the button's rom once more to get SPL 1.xx also and use lokiwiz02 tool to CID unlock,otherwise download WST_4.2.2 from the below link and run it to CID unlock the phone,after that upgrade to IPL/SPL 2.xx by flashing T-Mobile 2.26 or any AKU 2 official rom and than you can upgrade to any wm6.1 latest roms.
