yes it does. Had it running with :Navigon MobileNavigator 7.4.2 build 802 for PDA.
Doesn't work for the moment, tinkered to much, need to do a clean install.
The version 7.3.4 work perfect but no landscape mode ? I use it with the new map Q4 2009 but at the moment , it's just a test version download on navigon website, I don't buy it and I hope if I bought it, the new map 2009 stay active ...
Is this correct MN7 not work in landscape mode? Do you use navloader or something app to rotate the screen on start?

I have installed version 7.4.2 build 802 for PDA and Q4 maps. It is not working-I get black screen and then program quits. Navigon is on the root of my card, so is 2577 folder. Any idea how to make this work? thanks

You have to use some kinda script etc. to rotate and fix your HD2 into landscape BEFORE launching Mobile Navigator. Same game on the HD and other 800x480 devices.

Can anybode tell me what i can do against the false resolution? okay, MN is runnning and i can use it, but i´m not happy with the "look and feel". Especially the names of the destinations in the search menu are definitely too small (if not unreadable)

Unfortunately I'm not living in Australia, however as I quite like a lot your land (been there 2 month a long time ago...), I have the map Australia-Q2-2009... and this map is working very well with my official version of Navigon (7.3.4)...

even the program it self is piracy according to TomTom.. I bought traffic and speed cameras to my Kaiser and wanted to transfer that to this phone too which I could do except callign TomTom and fax a copy of the recipe on the phone with TomTom installed on.. which I couldn't since it aint pre-installed on the Raphael.
So yeah it's piracy, even without the maps.

in most of the time it will say that you have to uninstal ttn6, v6 maps will probably work but why use it? v7.25 maps are the latest

I install TOMTOM 6.030, works fine, set com4 speed 9600, takes a few mins to fine signal.

Sounds to me like you haven't enabled map sharing in TomTom on your phone. I had the same until I did that, and now it works fine.
i've upgraded to the latest version, and have enabled map share in both tomtom home and on the device. I still can not get map share to update.
I'm not sure then. The only difference between what I said and just enabling map corrections was that I reported one (I have been living in my current house for >4 years and TomTom still don't have it as a valid address. I have reported it several times through MapShare and it still doesn't appear as valid).
Ok, i will give that a try - my estate sill has roads that don't exist and although they have been reported many times, have still not been corrected. The 7.25 maps still don't seem that upto date for my area!
Have you / are you using tomtom traffic. I enabled the month trial, and it appears to update ok, but i never see any traffic information on the traffic map. The update symbol changes to green after an update, therefore indicating that it has downloaded data. On the liscence screen, it reports that traffic is enabled upto 22/10/08.
Thx it works fine. I had 65000 changes for my 6.8 Europacard.

How did you guys manage to get Home 2.4.. to sync with navigator 7? Is navigator installed on the phone or storage card?
Mine is installed on the storage card and Home 2.4 can't seem to find it.

mine is installed on the phones memory. only the map is on the storage card.
no problems here with TT Home 2.4
You need to make sure that tomtom app is installed within programs. Depending on what cab you have used, it may have installed the application under a strange (german i think) folder name.

the only thing thats different is that the 7.451 allows you to use Mapshare with Tomtom Home.
I don't have a clu what else could be different (did not find any other changes so far)

I basicly tried every setting in Tomtom and in Tomtom Home, and suddenly it all worked.
perhaps a stupid question, but did you allready try to mess with the settings in TTH/extra/mapshare prefferences..... and what does it say in the bottom right corner: After this update ...Mb??
just press OK and let the update run

Tomtom doesn't give any Resolution errors, so it should work for any resolution, but the Tomtom Version Tomtom 7.910
Tomtom 7.910 needs v 8.XXX maps, but you should be careful some map versions are only for PNAs ... You you should download the maps compatible with PDA or PDA&PNA
Tomtom is the best for Europe, but I do not like its simplicity, I like iGO 8.3.X Maps are updated monthly
Tomtom can not identify your device's com ports as well, for example, it may find your internal gps as a bluetooth gps, or viceversa.. So you should search for any kind of gps device in settings of tomtom in case if it does not recognize automatically

Its not true...
QVGA TT doesnt work on VGA or WVGA.
Maps are update continualy via map share.
TT identify COM ports without problems on all HTC devices or zou can set port manually.

On the videos looks like tomtom have a lag of 20 30 meters, and trying myself igo and copilot doesnt have lag at all, so, why use tomtom?

i have used tomtom on the HD2 and it is very fast, the video above does not do it justice, try it yourself and see.

hehehe I'll try when I'll get the HD2.... Here in italy we are the first country in Europe for Mobile selling, but we are the last country we receive the HD2.... Cool!!

I shared QVGA version of 7.910 on one web site, but before sharing I tried it on Htc HD, Htc Diamond, Htc Diamond 2, Htc TyTN II. So these resolutions are, QVGA, VGA, WVGA.
TT sometimes identify your Internal GPS as a bluetooth GPS, I say this information if some can not find their internal GPS, aim is to help to solve issues not to say bad things about TT.
If you have licensed version you may find correct maps, but ones that do not have should be careful to download maps that are compatible with PDA.

I've tried TT 7.910, 7.915 and 7.916, but all have a refresh lag.. So normally the screen (your position) is updated every second, but at my HD2 it updates in 5 or 7 seconds!
I've tried the internal GPS as wel the COM4 and 9600 baud GPS...
Google Maps works perfect (as far as I can see).
Don't know what to do about it.

Xmoo, The TomTom application works indeed but as soon as it starts it says it can't find any maps and then tries to make an internet connection in order to download maps at www.htc-citymaps but it then results in an error as the webpage doesn't exist.
How do you get TomTom to work with the maps and speech ?
Note: the installation CAB was 9 MB's hardly enough to conatin a full working navigation tool so it's clear that i'm missing data.

..try to move them to the "My Documents" directory...
An other issue could be that the maps you are using are not compatible with your tomtom version..

I have managed to get it working, i had to create a 'CurrentMap.dat' file and place it in '\My Documents\TomTom'. This tells tomtom which map to look for.

With WM 6.5 you don't need the TomTom Audio Fix anymore
All 7 versions of TomTom wil work with the HTC TD2.
I have had 7.450, 7.915, 7.916 and many different builds.
Now I have v7.916 Build 9192.
There is a new version of TT

If you select "Other", choose COM4, baud rate can be 4800 or more, 19200 may be a good choice. Note that some versions of Tomtom 7 do not show properly the list of received satellites, both with "internal Gps" or "Other..."
One most recent version of Tomtom solves this problem and also solves the audio cutoff issue (for WM6.1 users).

No i have the TD2 also and in the beginning i used internal GPS and it worked great accept for the lag.
Go to settings from windows and go to external GPS
in Programs my setting says COM4
in Hardware my settings says None and 4800
in the third tab(toegang in dutch) chek the box

I tried outside including on top of the roof at work!!! waited for 30 mins, to signal at all!!!! not even one grey bars!!!

I was wondering if it would help if I cohse to install a custom FW like Dutty's.
But I will try to get the latest TT and GPS Mod Driver and report back here on how I get on.

..I had all version installed; actualy I use the latest one.

Edit: You can try Google maps (active GPS) to find the satelites.

I installed this and it works great! The only problem is, how I delete books I don't want? I've tried deleting from both the Reader/Books folder and also via the ereader interface. Both times the books still remained when I navigate to the ereader tab in sense?! Any suggestions or am I doing something wrong?

My ROM doesn't have the Document reader .
Tried Mr X's CAB, doesn't work properly, I can launch the Book library viewer from the installed directory which shows a bunch books which don't open, which I presume is because the books aren't actually an the phone lol.
There are a couple of other excutables as well, one is the reader I think but that just states it's not a pocket pc app or something like that and the other just keeps trying to access something and fails?!?!?! (sorry for being vague - just recalling it from memory, as uninstalled the CAB now).
Have no idea how to add books (or where to put them) but was able to delete the thumbnails which were already there.
Obviously the production of a working Ereader CAB is getting closer, I guess I'll just have to be patient.
Not sure why but this works fine on my ROM until my exchange server does its encryption thing then I get a tab but when i go to it its blank with no options

Sense not respond
Also tried to install. Sense can not launched, after removal, Sense works prorperly.
Do anyone know how to fix it? or pls advice another e-reader.

hi, I'm a little bit confused about compatibility... does this e-reader tab work on Artemis 9.0 Ita ( WM 6.5.5 - Manila 2.5.2012 (Leo 2.10))?
Is this supposed to work on TM-US version of HD2? It seems to work but whenever I do a soft-reset I get an error telling me services.exe has crashed.

tried, it works, but it disappointed me.. it's a poor app, I removed
I cannot register to htcpedia.com I tried several times, emails to admin with no reply...
where else can I download the cab file?
