Background on all tabs in TF3D

How get my background at the home screen on al the other tabs?

it´s a good question, i want 8 different pics for each tab, also.

You haven't tried very hard looking for a solution....

No, I'm using a stock HTC WWE ROM.

Much better effect. All tabs have wallpapers. BUT, the above defect is seen on all secondary manila pages.

I had exactly the same problem with the V2.1 (like I said on the previous page) but the V2 works fine.
I used to have a stock HTC ROM but I'm using Essential 1.4 at the moment.

So can I say that you do not see any problems on the V2 like I mention above?

I tried this one, but it caused the screen to crash, thank god that touchflo 3d still worked,
and I still could digged up the ARP to remove this program.

On my old stock ROM and my new custom ROM the V2 cab worked. But if you use landscape mode you should make your own high resolution for all tabs cab files to install (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511&highlight=hdwall). For some reason the rotation is quicker this way...
And Flip It makes it even quicker still...

Well, the stock ROM and Essential 1.4 both has the probs shown in my second pic. Could you check if ya see it as well?

No i wont have custom roms.

For some strange reason i got it to work fine now..
I also had the white "block" up in the right corner,but now it's gone.
Install TF3D2 Tweak http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502102
Rotate to landscape and go trough menus and back and the block is gone
Maybe not the easyest way but it works.
You can also use changescreen..

The corner defect is solved!

Yes, it does now some bugs... but i still prefer this ROM above a ROM with TF3D 2.1
The icons and wheater at the start are so helpful and handy.. since i flashed this ROM i haven't seen WM anymore, TouchFlo is now even deeper integrated. All the settings and options are in TF style.
The new and better calendar is also a big improvement.

I prefer the new ones, some screens were just really black and white only..

That are the top bar icons, not the TF slider icons

Were the problems really bad, only I was thinking of flashing Udk's R1 ROM. If it's too glitchy then I might stick with stock ROM. I'd be grateful for your thoughts thanks!

Well at this moment from what I observed in 2 days of use:
1. problems with Wifi (turning on/off by itself) and signal indicators (I had no bars at all, or at most 1-2 lines of signal) - this was solved, you need to wait the latest ROM release
2. some problems with Weather tab, couldn't remove all the cities
3. Opera is not the default browser, when clock on internet tab, IE opens instead of Opera
4. Some random problems in picture gallery, unable to reproduce them
5. The speed sensation is that it's a little slower and unstable

Many thanks for your response! I might hesitate for a bit and wait to see if a new release (R2) fixes these issues you found plus any others. I've tried reading through the specific thread for this udk ROM, but it's hard going!

I tried with Advanced config but it's not working so far.
Any idea ?

got it working with mixing in some manila 2.1 files. got some bugs however, like not being able to change the wallpaper through standard menu (only hdwalls works) ...

Did a little more finetuning and attached the files you need to customize the home-tab like on the screenshot. Install "cmE Home Tab Appointments.cab" and restart sense afterwards to get the new homescreen. "home_tab.zip" contains the same files, in case you want to edit or copy them yourself.
note: this is NOT bugfree, since I couldn't decompile the original lua script without errors, and couldn't find any help on this. BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE REPLACING.
known bugs:
can't change wallpaper anymore. use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511 HDWalls to work around this.

Not bad but you have to configure everything using the new manilla file.
Max is 2 appointments .

This is excactly what I was looking for as well, great, hope there will be a bug free solution soon. It's really important for me to see multiple appointments.
The solution in the post directly above this seems not favourable...

of course people will have to report bugs they encounter, since everything is running right for my needs

- You posted two captures, one with weather on the right top, and another one without weather. Which one would we get if we install your files ?
- Is it necessary to edit your files to customize the language ? I'd like to get this interface fully in french.
- Is it possible to add a few shortcuts to applications on the today screen ?

1. It's the second screen.
2. No need to edit any language files. All the files (except 1 XML file for the date - but you don't need it) are language independent.
3. No. I've used Manila 2.1 scripts to show more appointments. I wasn't able to fully decompile the original manila 2.5 files and didn't get any answers to my pm's. As the shortcuts-part was one of the crippled ones, when decompiling, there is no possibiliy to use shortcuts.

As I am tired of looking at the default tab icons for sense 2.5, I decided to replace them with new ones. Since I have leeched so many nice stuffs from this community, I thought it will be a good idea that I contribute some of my work.
Please note that icons/graphics are not created by me. I gathered the images from internet searches and credits to original graphic creator. What I did was to source for graphics, compile, edit/resize, convert and to pack them in a cab.
Tab icons for Document Reader and Ebook Reader are included. However, I did not include any sliders. To use these icons, simply download the cab file, install to device, and do a soft-reset. Tab icons are also fully uninstallable.
This is my 1st time attempt in making icon set for sense. Please do not expect a perfect job. Feedbacks are welcome.
If response is good, I may consider releasing other versions in the near future. Thanks!

Added 2 variation of this tab icon set (20-02-10)
1) Semi-Transparent Slider
2) Fully-Transparent Slider
Please uninstall the previous version before installing the transparent ones.

I installed the cab to storage card, did a reset, but it is still showing default tab icons.
My HD2 is on:
ROM Version: Stock 1.66.707.1 (76641) WWE
Manila Version: 2.5.19211619.0
Radio Version: 2.06.51.07
Is there something else I should do?

I have just installed to main storage, and it works even though my HD2 version does not have the e-reader and Documents tabs. My HD2 just looks fabulous now~!
Most importantly, it has solved my difficulties in identifying the tabs between "People", "Messages", and "Emails".

Very nice icons. I installed this on TP2 (custom rom, sense 2.5 2011), all icons are there except for mail and internet tabs. I don't have the ereader and doc tabs, could that create the problem?

Hmmmm... unlikely. Probably file names are different in your version of sense. Hence, icons in my cab didn't correctly replace the default ones.
I am running sense 2.5.20113626 and created the cab base on this version.
Sorry. Maybe someone more experienced can help to point out the actual problem.

In case you don't like it, i made a blue one as well.
You don't have to uninstall the tab icons. Just install the new cab will do.

[FIX] - Fix for the overlapping dialpad icon in Phone canvas in WM6.5.x

I did not find any similar post on this forum so I'm posting it here...
Here are working fixes for the pink square in Phone Canvas and overlapping dialpad icon that some of you may encounter with WM 6.5.x.

1°/ Fix for the overlapping dialpad icon:

2°/ Fix for the pink square during phone calls:
Once you have installed the PQDHD2 fix you will notice a small pink square during phone calls.
Just install the De'Key PinkSpotFix cab below, and that's it. All graphic glitches will be fixed.
Please note that this second fix will (probably) only work with the regular HTC dialer (i.e. the white one), and not with custom dialers.

Fantastic, now It's time for 6.5.3 rom update - no more buggy dialers!

Hi is there anyway to make this fix work for other dialers? Such as the Rhodium Dialer.

Thanxs very much. Working great. But can you tell me why the installed data package is so big (1 MB + 4 MB) ? Seems like just the icons has changed... And a complete dialer usually takes up to 14 MB so this cant be the case as well. Any ideas whats inside the cab...?

I tested with Rhodium dialer and it is not working.
Primary, it messes the bottom line of the dialer (the one with the 'Talk' button)

That's bad. As I underlined in my 1st post, the fix will work only with the regular HTC dialer, and not with custom dialers.

I looked inside dlls, but could not find what menus have been changed, as there are a lot
Do you know what is the correct menu, so I can give a try to change them?
(or if you have the original dlls, I could try to search to find it by myself)

Unfortunately I don't have the original dll. Hope someone can help.
Nonetheless, the first fix should work with a vast majority of dialers. I don't know why it does not work specifically with the Rhodium one.

Alll the current diallers were fixed a couple of weeks ago. They were posted by alexx in da_gs mobile releases thread in dev and hacking forum
No work around or cabs needed, just two files to copy to windows directory.
