nope you may brick your device if you have eng spl. New radio is always tricky, so wait for update.zip file.

Sorry this may disappoint you. Actually I have a 32a, but not the TW version.
My SPL now is 1.33.2005. I figured I should flash back to 1.33.0009 before fastboot flashing the radio and SPL img.

I dont want to try non Engineering SPL though

I guess these imgs may brick some Magics if some guys try to flash them in to their Magics.

I have been running custom android roms for about 2 months. I rooted when i was running 3.32 firmware on my sensation but it didnt s-off. and i learnt about JB-wiretrick which offcourse doesn't work. my sensation is also not supercid.
Anyways i just want to s-off and upgrade to 3.33 firmware.
I have heard that firmware upgrade simply isnt possible while s-on.
I want to downgrade to 1.17 and use revolutionery method to s-off.
will it be possible ?

Firmware UPGRADE is possible on SON, just flash 3.33.x RUU. However firmware DOWNGRADE can only be done on S-OFF so the only way to S-OFF 3.xx firmware is JB wire trick which works as long as you get the timing right so you may need to attempt it several times before success

Actually Kohr-Ah, the man behind user freindly firmware told me that firmware upgrade will fail on device with S-ON. and i also didnt risk because i thought it will brick my device
Have you tried it on S-ON device ?

If you do as I told you to and flash a 3.33.x RUU, the firmware will be upgraded. what kohr-ah meant is that you cant flash a PG58IMG firmware file while S-ON but I know for a fact S-ON users can flash RUU

However thread says to install firmware located http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1412618
It means i shall still have to flash file PG58IMG.
Should i proceed with both steps

Neither of those is an RUU so wont work. This thread is maintained by Football and contains all RUU's available for HTC Sensation/XE/4G. Just download the 3.33.401.6 RUU exe file and run from a windows pc

It's neither; it's the 6.98.0002 HBOOT by Revolutionary that's based on the 98. I suggest you upgrade the HBOOT to the custom 7.0 or to the ENG HBOOT.

I wouldn't upgrade to 7.0 since it still isn't entirely compatible with all roms and downgrades methods, as far as I know. ENG Hboot is all right tho

I want to change stock rom, why? because i m tired to see AT&T things on my phone, i want to get that stock rom which doesn't has any of company things. my phone is now at factory state, i mean no root no bootloader unlock etc and i dont wanna root or unlock bootloader just change stock rom without any mod hope there is a way????? i will be glad if anyone would tell me a complete procedure if exist

No. If you want to remove bloatware or install a modified stock rom you need to have a custom recovery and being S-OFF or an unlocked bootloader.
What you can do if you do not want any of that, you can create a goldcard and flash an Unbranded RUU that will not have any carrier specific apps and you will still have S-ON and no root or custom recovery.

making a goldcard is necessary? i mean, if i will download ruu and run it, follow that it shows... will be possible to change my stock rom?

No, that is because the CID signature will fail (which is in your case CWS__001 that is AT&T specific). Goldcard is made in your sdcard and does not leave any kind of trace if that worries you.

Using any WWE rom will be just fine. But if you want the 2.3.3 unbranded RUU use this:

Create the goldcard, rename the file PD98IMG.zip and place it in the root of the sdcard then flash in hboot.

one more thing i would like to tell u, my phone is unlock for all SIM NETWORK..... will this impact on unbranded stock rom?
if i will use any WWE stock rom then i dont have to create a goldcard? and download this file that u have mention on ur reply?

Those are the links that I have. WWE are the unbranded ones and build versions should be 3.xxx. You will always need to use a goldcard, it doesn't matter that those are unbranded RUU's you device is not.
To extract the .zip file from those RUU's follow this:

Then there is something that was wrong from the first post....you are not at factory state.
If you are S-OFF flash any .exe file as it is and you will be fine and please stop opening threads on the same subject...

Boot in fastboot and in a cmd type: fastboot getvar all (delete de IMEI from there) and paste the outcome in here.

actually after getting an unsuccessful result i just followed ur step made a goldcard by ur link down at ur every post and then extract rom.zip from RUU.exe put it on root of sd card and hboot this time it didn't show INCORRECT MODEL ID error and then did a flash rom successfully

So what is your plan with a firmware?
If you are not s-off you can do absolutly NOTHING with a firmware.
This means with s-on you can´t go back neither with the firmware nor with the h-boot (wich is normally a part of the firmware).
You MUST go s-off before you can downgrade your firmware that´s the point.....also if your CID is matching

Oh really ? I never heard of that but I´m very interested about the process..
so can you please discribe exactly how to downgrade the firmware(h-boot, radio etc.) on HTC ONE MINI
with s-on if this works and is commonly used it would be great to hear more about that...
(so till now I was quite sure that you can´t downgrade to a lower version with an RUU)

To downgrade the firmware when you are s-off is no problem....it´s done in a few minutes...
So what´s going wrong with your downgrade?

In the Theory We can do downgrade with s-on. So anyone have the signed firmware from ATT?
