n00b problem abt kaiser unlocker

I downloaded the unlocker, did exactly as what it said, and after I flashed w/ the patched radio I cannot enter the system!
The screen is dark after the AT&T 3g animation, and no response.
But I can use the original AT&T rom to flash it back.
Anyone know a solution?

Read this first and post your questions there, so that the flame jockey's will not fry you...

I did exactly as what it told and I have tried several times.
Go to that thread and ask there....okay ? you will get a better response there.

Noob question about flashing (sorry, I DID read the stickies!)

Ok here goes. Be nice, I'm new...
I have a Stellar in front of me (or Kaiser, TyTynII etc) which has managed to get itself into Boot Loader. I'm usually pretty good at getting these out of it but this one has me stumped, and I'm hoping someone may be able to give me some suggestions, or confirm my suspicions that it is kaput.
It's in Serial mode at the moment, showing
KAIS130
SPL-1.82.0000
CPLD-8
on the top of the screen.
So I plugged it into the computer and it nicely popped into USB mode which then let me flash it, using the file: RUU_Kaiser_O2_UK_1.82.206.1_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32_Ship
This appeared to take, started the process, splash screen loaded, windows mobile loaded OK and for all intents and purposes was back at the factory reset (which is what I wanted). HOWEVER.....when I performed a soft reset it went back into Boot Loader and I'm now back at square one.
Any ideas? I can't install any homebrew ROMs on this, it HAS to be the standard ROM for reasons I'm not at liberty to post here (don't worry nothing illegal is going on, suffice to say, I shouldn't really be here!)
I have at least 2 others that are doing similar as well and would like to get these fixed also. All help/comments gratefully received and I apologise again if this is covered somewhere else.
It seems you have not done any SPL hard flashing yet.
Did you really read the Flashing for Noob sticky ? It's there .. first you need to do hard SPL, SIM/CID Unlock, then only you can change your ROM to anything.
Please go back and re-read.
Sorry. Will this do anything bad to the device, only I've never done anything like that before, I've just run the ROM flash file. I've never had to do anything like you suggested before. It needs to be put back to factory as it is going to get allocated to someone - which means I then have to install a clone over the top of this.....sorry if I'm being thick. I did read the document you suggested but that resulted in me getting more confused.
If this is not the right place for me to be, please feel free to close this thread and I'll keep looking elsewhere. Cheers.
Hi,
First of all: what do you want to do? Read this to clarify your intention
Take your time, read through the WIKI first.
After that, if you still want to flash, go to the Noob sticky.
If you don't have the passion, I'd suggest just use the phone as from factory. Reading the Wiki still will give you insight and many good tips/tricks without flashing.
Edit to addI apologize.
After re-reading again, it seems that what you're trying to do is reviving the dead Kaiser. From the SPL version, it's not yet 6.1. You can check out here to see any other official ROM matches, which what you currently use seemed to be correct.
Mod, please merge this with Kaiser stuck at Bootloader thread ..
Good luck.
Edit 2
It seems that when you did a soft reset (by pushing at the small hole using stylus?), the other two buttons (camera + power) are still pressed (or due to hardware, kept being pressed), thus resulting in boot loader displayed again?
Well that's why I couldn't work out why I couldn't get the ROM to stay.....this has never happened before! So yes, I am trying to revive a seemingly busted Kaiser. The customer handed it to me in Boot Loader mode. Usually running the RUU fixes this and we can then go about rebuilding it. However in this case it really doesn't want the factory ROM but I need it to! I can quite easily get it into USB mode and flash it by running the .exe file on my desktop - but then that's about all I can do. I can't give it back to the customer as the next time he performs a soft reset or switches it off, it'll be back in Boot Loader...ARGH!
Oh, and apology accepted!
And another thing, I just tried running the exe file again and got as far as the screen alignment and the poxy thing just locked....cue soft reset and back to Boot Loader. Me not happy.
Edit: A quick check of the Hardware and all the buttons appear to be OK - nothing looks like it's stuck down
If you want to take the looooong road, perhaps you can do flashing Hard SPL, unlock SIM/CID and then flashing any other ROM/Radio. Once you get a stable working device, you can flash back the OEM using this method
I'm not sure if this custom RUU can help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334890
I haven't tried that, so it's just an idea for now.

If you are still having problems with the bootloader check out my sticky.
If you need help with the flashing process check out mskip's sticky.
Only create a new thread for new issues that have not been discussed before.
Good luck
Thanks

OK, I too skim read (I read a lotta threads ).

Did I brick my phone with this ROM

Hi,
I followed all the instructions to flash Wm6.5 Shifu ROM to my unlocked AT&T tilt. It worked fine for a couple of hours, and then the screen was locked!! I did a sift reset and the phone hangs on the screen that shows the ROM versions.
R 1.65.21.18
G 25.88.40.05H
D 3.29.shifu
I have tried taking out the battery .. same result...
Please help...
Regards
Nick
Have you tried to flash another ROM on to it like a stock ROM?
You should try to reload the ROM but you may have to load from SD because I don't think you will be able to connect to the PC.
You should really read the wiki. your phone is not bricked. see if you can put the phone in the tri-color screen. (hit:the answer can be found by searching tri-color, or reading the sticky wiki [top post]). If you can get it to the tri-color just flash another rom.
This post would have been better in the forum of the rom you tried to flash.
Welcome to the forums. Flashing a rom on your phone will be worth it. I really like Josh's because I find it very responsive. But try a few. And try not to start threads not directly related to the development of new roms.
Please post any ROM related problems in the ROM thread.
Re-Flashing the ROM, or Hard Reseting should solve this for you.

My phone now can only go into the HB booter only...

when i was flashing rom(noob),i think i format all the rom(include the factory one)in my desire and now why I turn on my desire, it only goes into the HB booter and nothing else.
i tried to recovery it and reset it to the factory rom,but it seems no use.
What can i do for my phone now?
thanks...
It seems that you are going to have to load a new rom. Check out the link from cyanogenmod's website. wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=HTC_Desire_%28GSM%29:_Full_Update_Guide (I was gonna make a link but this forum doesn't allow new members to post links)
Its a great guide to flash new roms to your phone. CyanogenMod is a good one but flashing is the same procedure for any rom. Hopefully this helps you out.

[Q] Extremely slow bootloader performance --- Please Help.

Hi, folks.
I'm having a bit of a pain point with my new HTC Inspire. After I downgraded the device, the bootloader takes forever to do what it needs to do. It stays on a black screen for about five minutes or so, then brings up the HTC white screen, vibrates immediately after that for about two minutes straight (engine burnout seems imminent here), continues booting for another minute or so and then, finally, loads the operating system.
Potentially relevant specs:
HBOOT: 0.85.2007 (PD9812000)
MICROP: 0438
RADIO: 26.03.02.26_M
S-OFF
I think I need to flash something new, but I don't know what. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, guys!
UPDATE: I tried re-flashing PD98IMG; did not work.
take out battery put it back in and while holding down the volume - button power the device on, now you will be in the boot loader and to to factory reset then try everything again

also this dose not belong in the development section it belongs in Q & A look before you post as this has nothing to do with development, mods please close
A senior member should know this does not belong in the developer forums
Wow; love the help. Thanks, guys.
Buddy, u will get more help if u post ur thoughts & questions in the proper forums. You've been told this before. So in that sense, we ARE helping u.
Right, so this isn't a general problem. I would think issues with bootloaders and such, especially in the context of rooting/unlocking a device, would be issues fit to ask this forum. None of the threads I've searched in Q&A have really helped me, but feel free to continuously tell me I don't know this site.
This is for development. Bottom line. No question of any kind should be posted here. That's why there is a q & a section. The system works if u let it
Well sense this started after you downgraded then I would start over from there. As for where this belongs. ALL questions go into Q&A.
Sorry for all the fuss. I'll make sure things go in the right places next time. Hoping someone can help me here; I just got this phone and would love to start using it!
You said you downgraded. What did you downgrade to?
@Gizmoe: Those instructions called for: 1.32.405.6
You should use "ace hack kit" to return your phone to gingerbread stock with s-on. And then use the same tool to root. It does both and is the most up to date and easy root/return to stock tool for the inspire.
Checking that thread out, I just realised that I did exactly what they warned against: my device shipped with a Gingerbread ROM and I downgraded to the Froyo one as per the Cyanogenmod instructions. I'm downloading the kit as well as the latest stock Gingerbread ROM. Will updating to latest stock ROM with S-ON get me back to where I was?

That's what I assumed. Ace kit should fix you up.
Thanks a lot! Out of curiosity; why does this type of downgrade slow down the bootloader so much? Doing a downgrade on the G2 I had was pretty straightforward (hence why I did this)
Great script. Feel your pain that it was done all in batch, but great script nonetheless.

I don't know. I have the original hboot so I haven't researched much about it. I just know it was an issue when gingerbread starting rolling out and HTC changed the version of hboot from 0.85.0024 to 0.85.2007.
Interesting. I've finally downloaded the kit; these long boot times make this excruciating, but I'm hoping this resolves it!
The problem is only on fairly recent Inspires (MFG after about Sep. 2011). HTC has shipped them with some different hardware than the earlier ones. The later hardware won't work with the earlier (or the ENG) hboots. I suspect this may be in direct response to AT&T being so anal about tethering. With froyo, you could get by the tethering blocks by editing you APNs. With GB, this ended for most users so many reverted back to froyo to regain tethering.
