if you use nrg weather app and are having trouble with it and the theme
you can try chome configurator here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=393104 go in to it and hit ctestuiplugin and hit show exit out
it used to work for me but with the one I have now I have to us a reg edit and go to security/chome/defaultsettings/ctestuiplugin change disabled to 0 and go to
software/Microsoft/chome/ctestuiplugin change disabled to 0
here is some cpr. files if the clock slide changes back.just install the cab one is for 3.0 to 3.2 and one is for 2.0 to 2.3 then go to options in the weather app layout options and pick one of the cpr. the weather app over writes the cpr file in windows so win you pick a layout it will kill the clock slide till you put the cpr files I made in it

here is some original wallpaper that came with the htc diamond and I added a bronzeres.dll with black diamond icons
and if you are using my theme I added a clear clock so you can add your own wallpaper the original had a black background all you have to do is add the files to the windows folder on the phone and if you us the black bronzeres.dll just switch to a noun slide theme thin add it

hi everyone, i have a samsung i600 with original winmobile 5; i installed on but the screen has nothing, just "start" "Contacts" and the battery icon. nothing more. u know why?

I've used it on my i617 with wm 6.1 and it still doesn't work.........

I apoplogize ahead for my ingnorance! I am downloaded the cab you posted, but I am very new to this nd I don't know what I need to do w all the files. I assumed it was a an auto installation cab, so if anyone can help I appreciate it, I really like the theme nd it looks like you did an excellent job.

It sounds like you unzipped the cab file because otherwise you wouldn't see all the files. Redownload the cab and save it to your phone, but do not extract the files from it first. Then use file explorer on your phone to start the cab install by clicking on the cab file.

hey coo theme who created it?

i have this installed and running on a Blackjack 1 with 6.1, everything seems to work right except the clock and the slider panels. The clock is the standard clock not the one on the screenshot of the OP, the slider panels are blue no matter what back ground i use.
Is the default background supposed to be the black diamound one? I bet its not showing up because this is not made for a landscape device. could this be made for a landscape device?
OK look at the second posters avatar.....my screen looks just like that. Isn't it supposed to have the diamound style clock and background? When i switch the the diamound green or diamound fire they both show up fine, just the clock is not diamound and the panels are blue.

sorry i did not make it for landscape and it would not work on it

ok, well thats to bad, it is really a cool home screen. I didn't think there would ever be this kind of screen on a smartphone.
Great work though! I wish i could figure out how to do this kind of stuff!

Well i took a pic of something black and made it my home screen and with the blue sliders it looks pretty good! So i don't have the clock like i wanted but, all the other stuff works and i have a pretty cool looking home screen!

So I installed cab on phone succesfully, but I went to settings, more, regional settings nd I tried to change the time format like you said but it only gave me a few to choose from ( 11:19:42 am or pm) but wouldn't let me enter in 00:00:00 or anything else. Please help & thanks.
edit: FYI it seems to be working just fine w/out adjusting those settings, excatly what does changing the time format do? Thanks again nd I luv the new theme, keep up the good work.

johnnyeoneal: you have it right I just put the 00:00:00 for currant time and if you didn't change your time to that format it would not line up with the diamond like boxes

VGA Themes ONLY

ok, so the diamond forum has a thread on themes..however. it is pages and pages about sites that hold themes that you have to wade through only to find that none of them are VGA (all QVG or WQVGA etc)
so, how about we have a thread that links to or shows ONLY vga themes??
ONLY VGA THEMES!!!
I've been searching for hours for good VGA themes for SPB Mobile shell and not had a great deal of success.
so, if you have managed to find some good ones...link to them here or upload them here.

HEAR HEAR!!! TOtally agree with you mate, am also trying to find good themes, or at least an ORGANISED database to get those themes instead of them being all over the place.

Mmmmm..... so what do you mean by "VGA Only Theme" ?
Are you refering to the images (background etc) or to the whole look and feel?
I also presume that you are talking about Themes with TF3D disabled as by default - TF3D is true VGA?

That's what I was thinking...all tabs, all icons, and all tf3d apps (i.e. weather) is VGA to my understanding.

I was thinking more of themes that use MS rather than TF3D since I very quickly got bored with TF3D as it was all form and lack of function for me.

None of the TF3D themes I've seen improve on function: Clock taking up too much of screen, while the font size from date (day of week) is too small, and I can't even read the content of my next appointment (caused by font size & room on screen).
HTChome and its HHC are mostly (only ?) QVGA/WQVGA based.
I found HTC_Home_VGA.cab but that delivers unreadable fonts as well
It seems based on on a different HTChome.dll to be put in \windows that decrease the font to fit in the TINY -inoperable- boxes of a WQVGA screen.
Next, I found PJC_HTCHome.cab that delivers a properly readable screen ..... but ONLY with its built-in theme/icons. HHC (themes) does not operate properly with it, AND I saw that it stores its settings in different area of the registry.
Further I noted that using SecondToday was promising, but would NOT allow my agenda to be 'picked' on the second screen.
TF3D (when active) shows next agenda-item in too small a format, cannot be adjusted with either the Advanced-Configuration tool nor the DiamondTF3D config tool.
So... at the moment I have TF3D disables, and have PJC_HTChome on the 'primary' start screen (there, it IS showing the agenda item in a readable format).
I have SecondToday showing WLM, and BatteryStatus
Somehow in the process, I have lost the ability to QuickLaunch the AudioManager.
Perhaps that has a dependency on TF3D running ??
Status: Still no alternative themes for either TF3D, nor HTChome, and no properly working configuration manager.

I agree, which is why I dumped TF3D in the first place.
I have tried a few Mobile Shell themes and all have a few quirks in them, but on the whole they are getting better. there just aren't enough of them in VGA format

Diamond2 Background Changer? Action Screen?

Hi There,
is there already a proggy that auto changes my background every x hours? Or does the old Diamond Background Changer still work?
And what about an action screen like fabliv's 9 button for diamond1?

It's kevin2u Diamond Background Changer and Fabliv's Action Screen. Just search the board for "diamond background changer" and "diamond action screen" and you will get there.

And what about background for all tabs? I have tried Showaco´s but doesn´t work properly on wvga (the picture does not cover all the screen and does not eliminate default background either). Munrus´s for HD doesn´t work either, although it correctly replace all backgrounds it freezes the start menu. Is there any working cab for the topaz yet?

There is some windows program which creates a .cab that installs a selected image file to all tabs, I believe it also came from the HD. But that's not really a good solution, as you can't just select the background on the phone and then display it on all tabs, you need to create a cab and install it.

Thanks for your answer. It is not exactly what I was looking for. It seems that we Topaz owners have to wait a little more for applications and ROMs. Patience then.

as far as i tried the action screen doesn't work... Installing went fine, but it did not start correctly. At the home screen there appeared an option 'action' in the bottom left corner, but opening it just directed me to the contacts, not the screeen i was used to on the diamond 1

Background on all tabs on 6.5

I've try a lot of mods on my new diamond 2 to have background on alltabs and no one works.
Some give me nothing or pictures without the top. Any advice welcome

There is a smal bug with Dirty Rain Animation - no tranparency.

There is a lot of settings.
You can have different backgrounds on home tab only or on all tabs.
And it works on my D2 with WM6.5 and Sense 2.5.19211619.

your wallpaper resolution must be increased.

The size of the picture is 1800x1200, seems to be large enough, no ? or to big ?
the basic picture in a lanscape picture -> should it be the problem ?
Should I reduce the size as I see various background picutre available on internet are smaller than mine ?

The landscape is better when the picture size is in square. No black part any more But then only the low part (1/3) of the picture is visible. Which is the better size of a picture to be fully visible on both mode ?

is there any way to dont let all sense wallpapaer rescale all photos?
i explayne better,when u set a picture that is not a standard one,the pic is zoommed,i tryed different resolutions but always zoommed

it's not about the resolution they have, it's about how sense works! so...despite a high-resolution pic, u r gonna have a low quality background. the solution is only one: create a cab using hdwall 0.28 or download some from the several threads of this forum

yea i supposed that and tryed with hdwall but i still have a problem,i installed the cab and all works good,tabs has the picture on the background (except calendar but is better) the problem is with hometab,after the first softreset after installation of the cab,for a second after the sense loading i see the picture i choose and in less than 1 second it switch to the "animated wallpaper" i had before i tried to remove it but seems cant,the only way i found is to load the picture from animated wallpaper but have a very bad quality... i worked with different options on hdwall but didnt find a solution
