I've try a lot of mods on my new diamond 2 to have background on alltabs and no one works.
Some give me nothing or pictures without the top. Any advice welcome

There is a smal bug with Dirty Rain Animation - no tranparency.

There is a lot of settings.
You can have different backgrounds on home tab only or on all tabs.
And it works on my D2 with WM6.5 and Sense 2.5.19211619.

your wallpaper resolution must be increased.
The size of the picture is 1800x1200, seems to be large enough, no ? or to big ?
the basic picture in a lanscape picture -> should it be the problem ?
Should I reduce the size as I see various background picutre available on internet are smaller than mine ?
The landscape is better when the picture size is in square. No black part any more But then only the low part (1/3) of the picture is visible. Which is the better size of a picture to be fully visible on both mode ?

if you use nrg weather app and are having trouble with it and the theme

it used to work for me but with the one I have now I have to us a reg edit and go to security/chome/defaultsettings/ctestuiplugin change disabled to 0 and go to
software/Microsoft/chome/ctestuiplugin change disabled to 0
here is some cpr. files if the clock slide changes back.just install the cab one is for 3.0 to 3.2 and one is for 2.0 to 2.3 then go to options in the weather app layout options and pick one of the cpr. the weather app over writes the cpr file in windows so win you pick a layout it will kill the clock slide till you put the cpr files I made in it
here is some original wallpaper that came with the htc diamond and I added a bronzeres.dll with black diamond icons
and if you are using my theme I added a clear clock so you can add your own wallpaper the original had a black background all you have to do is add the files to the windows folder on the phone and if you us the black bronzeres.dll just switch to a noun slide theme thin add it

I apoplogize ahead for my ingnorance! I am downloaded the cab you posted, but I am very new to this nd I don't know what I need to do w all the files. I assumed it was a an auto installation cab, so if anyone can help I appreciate it, I really like the theme nd it looks like you did an excellent job.

It sounds like you unzipped the cab file because otherwise you wouldn't see all the files. Redownload the cab and save it to your phone, but do not extract the files from it first. Then use file explorer on your phone to start the cab install by clicking on the cab file.

i have this installed and running on a Blackjack 1 with 6.1, everything seems to work right except the clock and the slider panels. The clock is the standard clock not the one on the screenshot of the OP, the slider panels are blue no matter what back ground i use.
Is the default background supposed to be the black diamound one? I bet its not showing up because this is not made for a landscape device. could this be made for a landscape device?
OK look at the second posters avatar.....my screen looks just like that. Isn't it supposed to have the diamound style clock and background? When i switch the the diamound green or diamound fire they both show up fine, just the clock is not diamound and the panels are blue.

ok, well thats to bad, it is really a cool home screen. I didn't think there would ever be this kind of screen on a smartphone.
Great work though! I wish i could figure out how to do this kind of stuff!
Well i took a pic of something black and made it my home screen and with the blue sliders it looks pretty good! So i don't have the clock like i wanted but, all the other stuff works and i have a pretty cool looking home screen!

So I installed cab on phone succesfully, but I went to settings, more, regional settings nd I tried to change the time format like you said but it only gave me a few to choose from ( 11:19:42 am or pm) but wouldn't let me enter in 00:00:00 or anything else. Please help & thanks.
edit: FYI it seems to be working just fine w/out adjusting those settings, excatly what does changing the time format do? Thanks again nd I luv the new theme, keep up the good work.
johnnyeoneal: you have it right I just put the 00:00:00 for currant time and if you didn't change your time to that format it would not line up with the diamond like boxes

well i just installed it up onto the rom of dr gonzo, working not too bad, except its showing 2 blank boxes instead of the battery and the time on the right top...
mmm I did not take any shots but they are the same as the screenshots u can see in themes topics apart ov the upper bar (the one with status icons, battery connections etc) and the bottom bar they remain in the color of ur scheme... I 'm using Fireburned WM6.0 NEO 1.1 ROM with default brown theme...so they were in brown... while the manila theme was the black one taken from the HTC DIAMOND----pretty ugly combined with brown bars...
Speed was comparable to the NEOPLUGIN and the WM 6.1 panels....
2 advices:
* when u are in manila interface and u press home key...u will return in ur windows default ennviroment...later manila will come back again...(i think there is something similar to a counter that refresh manila after a while)
* as previous said it happens sometimes that when u are doing something manila home interface comes on top...
yea i just realised the thing with the home button a bit annoying but i could live with it... the only thing are the white boxes
I didn't have white boxes at all, just the normal top bar...
When I Lock the phone , it is gone

Weather in Manila 2D
Today afternoon I have installed Manila 2D. Weather function was OK. Now I have reinstalled Manila 2D and weather function is KO. On screen with weather when I press the right button (menu) and select "1 Add location" or "3 Settings", nothing to happend. Only warning about download data for weather forecast is displayed. Which weather plugin I missed? Any solution for me?

And it doesn't work in portrait - so it is no option for me.
have you installed the newer version of the manila or the one provided in the rar file? i had this as i just installed the one from the rar file before.
@ frauhottelmann: I had the same issue when installed just using the lastest release...
but after i followed shadowmike instructions HERE everything went well except for the 2 things I mentioned before.
I did follow the instruction, but it might be the ROM. I used a beta 'Rose' edition which I made the day before...
mmm very strange...i did not have the 2 white boxes issue and with the same rom Fireburned WM 6.0 NEO I experienced ur situation only with the 30 september manila released and with the same rom without hardresetting but just uninstalling previous manila...i had no problem following shodowmike's instructions..

the samething happend to a hp ipaq user who was running 6.1 standard.
the bottom row of icons being messed up are from not installing the 96dpi mod.

I know TD2 has 800x480 screen and if we give any image for the "Home Screen" of that resolution/size dose not look that original, instead not look that nice as original image.
I have read several post where it is said that the TD2 require a little less size images to display correctly without compressing/loosing the quality, not sure of that size.
Also I read one post where it say how do we convert a 800x480 image so that fits into TD2.
So my question/Curios is do we have any tool developed by any member here where we give input to a 800x480 image file and get converted to the TD2 require size file

1) Diamond BackgroundChanger (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427463)
This will only rotate the background image of the home screen in TF3D mode. I dont think this has ny logic to generate the wallpaper as per TD2 specification.
2) Same as above for today screen.

it's not about the resolution they have, it's about how sense works! so...despite a high-resolution pic, u r gonna have a low quality background. the solution is only one: create a cab using hdwall 0.28 or download some from the several threads of this forum

yea i supposed that and tryed with hdwall but i still have a problem,i installed the cab and all works good,tabs has the picture on the background (except calendar but is better) the problem is with hometab,after the first softreset after installation of the cab,for a second after the sense loading i see the picture i choose and in less than 1 second it switch to the "animated wallpaper" i had before i tried to remove it but seems cant,the only way i found is to load the picture from animated wallpaper but have a very bad quality... i worked with different options on hdwall but didnt find a solution

finally i could change bg in all tab with transparent bar
i found solution by installing bg4all first & then bgwizard in this thread, and then change bg with bgwizard..

bgtweak works only with stock files (shell32.exe & aygeshell.dll) & I couldn't find that stock files suit to my ROM version. but with bgwizard i could change background without need of other files..

I've tried on HD2 official room 1.48. It's work for the home tab but for others the taskbar remind as the one on the home tab. Therefore, I've tried to reverse to original settings through the program but not work's after many reset, remove of the soft, re-install to try again to reverse to original settings I'm stuck with the wallpaper taskbar selected...How can I get back the original black one without hard reset???

Appreciate if you can help me to get back the original settings (black bars).
So far, I manage it by using default black wallpaper. Is it your soft which created 3 files named up, down and back on root of My Device? if i remove it taskbars become hugly grey.
