Just download the CAB (from the 23017 build) and install it. Upon opening the app, it'll download an update and install that too.
Then you can use the Market Place (although it's pretty much empty)!
Only My Phone app? Is it because of region (Windows Live, facebook, etc. are only in US markeplace) or these apps are available only for WM Pro?
EDIT: It is regional. But after getting into US marketplace and downloading Windows Live Mobile it gives me the error "WLMLauncher is not a valid Windows CE application" or something similar. Anyone else got this problem?
EDIT2: Nevermind. After reboot it works.
There simply isn't anything in there yet. In Germany I get Microsoft Tag (which doesn't work with the Vox's camera) and Microsoft Office Mobile, which is installed anyway!

I was using TyTN II before I got the fuze, and using opera on the TyTN II I could access hotmail and google reader's iphone interface through opera mobile(not opera mini). However I can not do that on the opera browser on the fuze. When I install macromedia flash player 7 google reader starts to work(however without the stars to mark the items) but on a soft reset it stops working, the starting page loads up but the items do not display. The same goes for hotmail which works with a fresh install of flash player 7(again inbox displays but nothing happens on clicking e-mail items) and stops working on a soft reset. I am confused as to what is happening here. Sorry if this has been answered, I could not find it. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to change the user agent as that renders cingular video unusable for me.

I know what you mean. On my "good old" HTC Touch I could do almost anything with Opera, but now I can't with my Pro.
If anybody knows something more about this, please help us. I would really use my online stock-trader application again; now I'm stuck with the mobile version...
BTW, Could it possible be a JAVA-issue? Somewhere oOn JAVA.COM I read that they don't support Windows Mobile anymore?

Ya, I would have said to change the user agent, but you said you don't want to do that. As far as flash I didn't think that Opera supported it. Skyfire does. It does pretty well actually, to the point you can watch you tube videos on the actuall website. not the mobile site. It isn't quite as good of resolution, but you might want to give it a shot.
It's weird that the things I mentioned were wokring fine on opera mobile on my TyTN II, but have problems on the fuze. Like I said after a fresh install of macromedia flash player 7, they seem to work partially but stop working after a soft reset. There is got to be a solution to this. Advanced users help please.

I don't know how exactly everything's supposed to work, but some portions don't work for me either, even under ie and firefox (desktop)
I think this is related with some kind of ajax library not fully supported in this current Opera Mobile version. As far as I can see for example at http://www.google.com/ig/i the igoogle gadgets simply don't get their content displayed (maybe a problem with iframe refresh?)
I add it working though with the latest OperaMobile cab version downloaded from Opera's website.
Is there a way to have that one running just like the preinstalled one and not as an alternate browser?
Just found another mobile browser, called "Irisbrowser", that almost supports anything. IMO its better than Opera but hasn't got the nice looks of Opera. But works fine with Flash/JAVA etc.
If any of you still have any problems with Opera, you can install and try the Beta version of Irisbrowser. It's available for free at http://www.irisbrowser.com/
I'm currently running Opera Mobile 9.5.15202 (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459378) and, at least with http://google.com/ig/i, it just works great!

Wondering if anyone knew of a working app for Windows mobile (6.1 pref!) to use Amazon from your mobile phone? The website is a little cumbersome. Ideally something akin to the existing Android/Iphone/Blackberry app perhaps. But the main feature being to quickly look up a product's price, and save it to wishlist/basket would be nice too.
Saw ShopEdge, from edgeq. com/ shopedge.aspx , which would be a nice start, but it won't work on my handset (Orbit 2) and they don't provide support. It loads fine but every search results in message: "Amazon system is not available through this device at this time. Please try after some time" even after trying for several days when the internet connection works for everything else.

The web exception most likely indicates a problem communicating with a web server (not definitely - just most likely). This problem may just disappear after a while, but it may not. I'm afraid getting in touch with the devs is the only thing you can really do, since this problem is specific to the software.
Just make sure that you can browse the internet okay before trying it again, then be 100% sure that you're using the correct username and password (try logging into the twitter site first, to be sure). Other than that, there really isn't anything you can do.
Although, saying that, since you've only spent £1.69 (or there-abouts), I'd recommend getting Panoramic moTweets instead. It's much better

I from the Netherlands and there was a change in the Internet settings. I need to remove the portal.mmm and now it works good again!
Can i intall TT 1.6 again after a hard reset? I heard something about that Marketplace removes the .cab after install. But there was a solution for that. But prob it's too late now. Or not?

Despite the many knocks that marketplace gets, when it does something right, it really does do it right. You just go back to marketplace and you can reinstall any previously purchased apps from the front page. I have to do it quite regularly. Just 1 click and it installs all the crap I've bought from them lol.

But TouchTwit has not done an update. I have already e-mailed to them but i dont get any awnser. Anybody knows if there comes an update for TouchTwit? I payed for it...

Touch Twit have announced a while back to stop supporting wm 6.5 (they consider it a dead OS) and looking forward to WP 7 (bah!). While Twitter changed the way you login, TT didn.t (and probably will not) release an update to fix this. So the chances to see TT work again on wm 6.5 platform are pretty slim.(you can always bug the developers to fix it...who knows). I suggest you switch over to Panoramic moTweets (they still support the app currently 1.8.5) - payed app or PocketTwit (i.m not sure about this one if it still works) or just use HTC Peep (although it kind of slows down the whole system)

Well, still no reply from touchtwit devs, after lots of mails.
I can accept a "we will not support blah blah" answer from them, but I absolutely won't accept no answer.
And to think that I recently bought this app... and it stopped working less than two weeks afterwards. Really feel stupid for something I paid which I could use for free. Pun intended. That's why I'm so damn furious.
I gotta rethink my "try & buy" policy really hard I suppose...

touchtwit market place cab removal
kinda new at this ,but i thought that if you have sktools there is an option were you can create a cab file from a program installed on your phone. so if someone were to purchase this tt1.8 you can recreate it using sktools. anyone can correct me if i am wrong
this has happened before on my hd7 and i would hard reset it, and now its happened to my titan, my at&t wireless account app has disappeared after i updated it from the marketplace, it does not show up in my hub list, yet when I go to the market to reinstall it all it does is say "share" meaning that i already have it installed but it isnt visible for me to access.
does anyone know how to bring back this ghost application to my hub list?
I have a similar problem on my Mozart too, I installed a .XAP game (please don't stake me), but it didn't appear anywhere on my phone. Now it's taking up space and the marketplace says I already have it installed on my device. I also tried redeploying the .xap. It installs and everything's fine, but I still can't find it anywhere.

You know, I'd be way more inclined to help you if you'd just bothered to actually pay for the game. Piracy is pretty much a forbidden subject here on XDA, and you're not going to get much respect if you come here asking for help with it.
I'd bother paying for the games if I actually could you know, but since there's no Zune Marketplace in my country I can't. Piracy isn't the reason I'm coming here for help. It's just a .xap problem that could be from an application from any source.
I thought you said you were able to check the marketplace, and it said it was already installed? I know there used to be countries where WP7 was available but Marketplace wasn't, but I thought that got fixed with Mango.
Argh.. I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and hope you're more legit than you sound ("don't stake me"? Really?). Check the Xbox Live app, otherwise known as the Games hub. I keep mine pinned to my Start screen for easy access.
I can use the marketplace, just when it comes to billing for my UK account it requires a UK credit card and I don't have a thing like that. Virtual credit cards and etc. don't work. Anyways. It's nowhere to be found in the games hub or the applications. If I try to download the trial it gets halfway and says 'Attention required' with error code 8103010d, which, according to Microsoft's forums hasn't been resolved yet. I don't want to have it as much as I want to delete it right now.

I bought the Asus Vivo Tab which has Windows RT on it. I'm aware that Windows RT / 8 Have the white-list functionality inbuilt into IE.
I've amended the iecompatdata.xml file so I could add my own sites and that has worked fine for a number of sites that weren't on the white-list yet.
My question relates to running facebook games on Windows RT. In the list, I put in URL's for certain direct facebook games (e.g. apps.facebook.com/gardensoftime ) . However, this didn't work when I put this exact URL into the .xml file and still has the adobe flash error requiring 10.0 or higher (even though Windows RT comes with 11 + ).
Could you help on:
Is it possible to put in direct links to facebook apps into xml file and them to work?
Is there any other way to view/utilise the facebook apps on the website?
Apart from waiting for the app to hit the microsoft store - is thre any other way to access them?

Doesn't Win8 RT have the desktop IE 10 app as well? In the desktop version, you can manually disable ActiveX filtering on a per site basis.

That doesn't help it either. It's not ActiveX Filtering that's stopping it - I'm not sure what it is.
Some games work and some don't. A lot of the playdom games don't work (this isn't for me, it's for my mother and I'mt rying to get them working for her).
