Problem with AutoKeyLock & Vito copy/paste...

Hi there,
I just discovered the AutoKeyLock program and immediately hit the problem with "Cannot hook the keyboard".
So I renamed my VitoCopyPaste.exe to .eze and rebooted.
This allowed AutoKeyLock to work.
Just out of interest, I renamed VitoCopyPaste back to .exe and it ran fine. So that suggests to me that both applications can co-exist as long as AutoKeyLock is started first.
So, 65000$ question, is there any way to control the startup order?
BTW I'm running Dr. Gonzo's WM 6.1 ROM on my Vox if that makes a difference?

You can't use both apps on your vox, you must choose one or the other.

That's not true! I have them both working when I automatically start AutoScreenLock and manually start copy/paste.
I can see them both in task manager, Honestly!

No, if autokeylock is launched first (screensaver active), vito copypaste don't work, if vito copypaste is launched first, autokeylock don't work.
It's a fact, only one soft can hook the keyboard.

I am using "SmartToolkit 1.0.0.RC08" for: autokeylock, copy/paste and key mapping, ( "celle task" is mapped on center d-pad button).

Believe you, yes that you can run both binaries at the same time.
The $65,001 question (which is what Fireburned is trying to say), is if both applications actually function when running together?

Running the two apps is ofcourse possible, but the beauty is they wont work simultaneousely . Its very simple, how can two apps lock the same hardware device? Think about it. You are using a dialup modem and are already connected to some network through it, now you start and another dialer and again want to use the same modem to dialup some other network, is it possible ?

Shaunak.it, I don't know too much about Windows Mobile but in other OS's you have the concept of chaining where several programs can register an interest in a particular interrupt or device.
Thinking about it, WM must support something similar, otherwise how does the screenshot program see the * key pressed whilst both AutoKeyLock & Vito Copy & Paste are running?
Returning to my original question, is there any way to control the order that programs are started at boot time?

Yeah! the other program will get access to the device only after the first service let go of it's hold

try to make an sms text message and use vitocopypaste to select some words and cut/paste it somewhere else.
you will notice it doesn't work, because a carriage return is automatically inserted when keylock releases the hook to vitocopypaste.

Thanks for the app! Just installed now and testing... when I click menu > today I get an unexpected error and the app crashes out. Running TESS 1.7 ROM.

Congratulations on getting this out the door A very nice UI too!
Now for the criticism
1. I'm getting the error on "Today" as well - maybe because I have Manila running detached. Screenshot is attached.
2. "Camera" menu:
- Burst mode is obsolete, no on/off needed since it simply does nothing on Topaz
- Burst picture size is obsolete
- Setting the "Picture Size" for "Sport" mode to 3MB will crash the camera app. The option should be removed. Who knows if this might not even harm the camera itself.
3. Spelling error on "Phone" Settings, on 2nd page you have "Multe Call" instead of "Mute Call"
4. "PushInternet Engine", you're not disabling the underlying service, which saves extra RAM and battery, see my thread on XDA-Devs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532948

Sorry to reactivate this topic, but there is still to much bugs remaining:
. today tab will still crash the app
. the entire tool was designed for Touch HD, only the name as been changed (maybe the cause of bugs, not enough converted for Topaz)
Then, could you please post an updated revision of your app fully compatible and especially designed for Topaz (or is this app abandonned)?

It works perfect on my D2 with official 6.5 WWE rom. No bugs discovered.

@radzi: you have to google for NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab and install it. Then softreset. Then google for netcfcfg.cab and install it. Go to this app and point all app to use 3.5 framwork. Another softreset. Then it will work just fine.

i had install Topaz Settings tool in my phone,but it seem like some problem there.
when i click menu->Today, it will prompt out an error.
same think if i click menu->pushinternet->on\off key
i wan to disable it because at there mention that (*With PushInternet Engine Disable, you can get back 10mb RAM free)

Cotulla, sorry, but I don't know why my Qtek s110 with R1 don't work touch screen.
After flashing and install R1 rom, when I see Windows Mobile wellcome screen and appear "tap your screen to set up your Windows phone", LCD touch don't response...
Any idea???

Mine is 96M with it, why?

32M is used for RamDisk.
That's why it marked as "R" - RamDisk.

If you didn't read up on the subject you really shouldn't flash. If you did read up on the subject I don't see how you could miss that roms from 7500/7501 are never compatible with 7510 it's mentioned so many times

I tried it on my x7500 .Everything is working with the exception of some buttons and joystick and MicroDrive isn't accessible-divices are different .

Any feedback on the rom? ...surely it's perfect?

Haven't had time to spend time with it yet, but so far it actually seems perfect It doesn't have problems with ringtones anymore. I'll send more of my impressions soon. Thanks so much for this rom I've really been waiting for your next release- Your're the best

The rom works very well.
There are a few steps that I take before I find my X7510 to be a perfect phone.
1. QuickMenu V2.8.410.1610.CAB from this topic
You can place the Q button in the middle of the screen.
Woks very well on this rom.
Oh, and disable the battery icon or you will be having two of them.
2. Microsoft Voice Commander with the 6.5.x fix.
Can be found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=100022
Use it with CyberonVoiceCommander.cab to be able to speak in names and command in other languages.
It has some issues with 6.5 roms, and it might be fixed with disabling a few functions.
3. Intent_MIDlet_Manager_11.1.7.1023.cab
Works, as always.
4. TomTom 7 - v7.910.9185
Works now.
The only thing I have issues with is getting Random acces to work in WM6.5.x releases. The version of randomacces is quite old and the realeases that has the program cooked in are using Random acces 4.1.
I cannot find it anywhere and am having difficulties finding it when I extracted the 00_OS.nb.payload into a dumb directory.
Please help, I find the random acces in contacts very neat.

My HTC Wired Remote Control RC E100 does not work either.
And it did work on other 6.5 releases, it might be a driver problem.

same problem for me.
Also, the weather is not saving the location and when i switch to the music tab media player launches and with an error "cannot play the file..." (without tapping anywhere else.)
I've also noticed the screen has decreased in sensitivity ... but this might be a problem with my phone.
When I try to launch office or a zip file I get an error saying that office is expired.
let me know should you need more info.
Finally: WELL DONE! you're doing a pretty good job!
