hie guys!
i need your help urgently!!!
I am just got another pc using vista, but i encountered a problem during installing activesync 4.5. When i wanted to run the program, it came out a warning windows saying that the program is block by due to certain reason, and it offer me solve it by downloading a program from a windows web. tried to download it and install it, but still the same problem occurs.
Anyone could help me to solve this??
Another problem, is there any solution if i use mac, and wanted to upgrade my rom from mac? thanks in advance...

for Vista you need Microsofts Mobile Device Center

^^ He's right and by default (On most Vista Machines) it should be already installed. So just try to plug in your phone and it should detect and install automatically.
Thats right starmena, but with the standard software that comes with Vista, you just can access your files on the Phone and the storage card. You are not able to install apps and sync your contacts, emails, and stuff.
btw. cant help you with the mac stuff sorry

i agreed with some of the reply, the one that is pre-installed on the vista, cant use it to upgrade rom and other. is there any solution to it?

Hi i got a problem with activesync with my pc on vista..i knoe tt now is using windows mobile device center..but everytime i click sync , my hp will prompt me to install activesync4.5 or newer on the pc..., which i already done so ...since windows mobile device center is newer...How do i solve this really persistant problem , likethis i cant do transfer of many thing..I really appreciate all help

Which phone is it? I mean the model / name of the phone.
As I can see you might not have tried to restore your phone, or maybe you dont know how to do it. If you do know then try to restore your device.

Im running mod. 1.2 by DFT...Everything is running fine..My problem is that live isn't working .Im aware that I need to call M.S after a few steps...Ive downloaded the WP7 unlock tools and have read the tutorial mny times...The problem is after i've installed the certificate, & unlocked the phone & run the tom instaler. when I get to connection setup.xap, I get this message box: windows cannot open this file. windows needs o know wat program you want to use to open it. windows can go online to look it up automaticaly or you can look it up manually. what am i doing wrong here.. what step am i mssing..any help woul be appreciated

can someone please help me, im trying to run windows market place on my tytn ii windows 6.1 phone , i have updated the rom to the eOS_4_888_FiRe_pp6 rom but for some reason the windows market place won't connect it just says windows cant connect to the id services at this time please try later. I don't know if its a problem with me using a cooked rom or not but I could use some helpp pleasee
