Anybody got any issues with this?
I can get it to authenticate me, but when it start syncing my data. All I get is protocol errors.
I'm back to touchdown (nitrodesk) for now. But I'd like to see the standard application functioning properly.

Was a bust for me as well using the Hero rom. I am using some beta app called RoadSync that supports push mail from Exchange.
Hmm.. I have had no probs with both the ION Work Email, HTC's more advanced Email, or Hero's Email on a variety of roms connecting to our Exchange 2007 server at work.
Has worked like a charm for me!

I've tried the mail.apk in your shared files hosting. But it's the same version already in the nk02 rom. I've got this rom currently installed and it's not working for me
Sadly it doesn't work.

It's not the same version. It's an updated version...
mm.. the .apk tells me it's the same version (1.0.0) as already installed. I tried removing the old app already, but it's not allowed ?!
i can't force reinstall it as it's the same version. If you happen to have a way to update the version by 0.0.1 orso, I thinki it could work.

This Mail.apk is from the new HTC update that they have received in Portugal. The file size is actually different from the old. I am going to guess that they did not yet fix the bug that is affecting you.
Is they any 3rd party free exchange client for android? The stock Hero one doesn't work for me. RoadSync works great, but it's in beta and once beta is over will cost $50! I believe Touchdown is $25.

I trust you to say it is different, but I can't get the old one uninstalled so I can't try your version. It doesn't allow me to upgrade as it says it's the same 1.0.0
as already installed on the nk02 image.

I'm currently testing Swype on my X10.
I've tried v1.56 and it works perfectly.
v1.60 however keeps on crashing, even after removing the older version and restarting the phone.
Has anyone succesfully installed and used v1.60 on the X10?
Does 1.60 bring any noteworthy improvements?
When did 1.6 come out never got a update for it with my beta version?
Seems to be working ok here. No fc's yet. Maybe try a reinstall!
1.60 didnt work for me either. strange though that it isnt even available officially through the beta programme. I went back to my official 1.56 version as 1.60 just kept force closing.
The 1.60 also keeps crashing on my X10
Would be nice to know, if anyone else running rooted .24 firmware experiences the crashes?
just as an fyi i'm running rooted .23

why is that weird? It crashes on mine too.
Thing is I have to wonder where this version came from because its not available as an official beta.

It's in beta stage, not available to the public yet, unless someone post a download like for us all or you can apply to become a beta test. I did

Anyone having problems with the Rom Finder app? It's no longer on the Market and the version I have installed has stopped working. It appears to be the latest (2.4.4) but I'm still asked to update when I try to install a rom. Grrr.

Well, we don't have any roms for the Xoom. That could be issue #1.
No, he means roms like for emulators if I'm not mistaken. Which app are you using exactly? I know there are a few in the market. I use Rom Buddy.

Rom gripper? As I understand it, it was taken down because the dev said there were too many bug complaints and it will be up again when it's working

Does anyone know a app like this that is still working?
I got an unbranded unlocked HTC Sensation and it still has the "old" market. How exactly is the new market shipped out and to whom?
How come some users get them it automatically and some "have to" install it manually?
If you are rooted you can install the new market by yourself. If your unrooted the update will be pushed sometime. Depending on your carrier and location.

Yes, my phone is rooted. Was just wondering why some users got it automatically and some don't.
If I install it manually from an apk. How can I be sure it a "legit" file. Someone could easily has planted some malware or similar into the apk....

Have some trust in your fellow forum user. Search in the theme adn app section for the ics market leak. I assume that one will be legit.

However the Market Enabler doesn't seem to work with Market 3.2.0
Hey just curious if anyone has had any been able to successfully get Google Wallet working with an AOSP rom on Verizon. I am aware that the current method works for Touchwiz based roms, however, the NFC libs are supposedly included in CM.
I can install the .apk fine but mine errors out when attempting to add the pre-paid card. Anyone else have the same issue?

I'm running CM10 and I'm also looking for a work around to get Google wallet working, keeps telling me that it's not supported.

So you cannot even install to add a card or is it showing as unsupported after you installed it?

I can install the .apk but when I run it I'm told that It's not currently supported on my device/carrier(VZW) and then the app closes.
Are you using the "hack" version that is stickied here in the General section? I didn't have the unsupported error and that is the app I used.

any updates?
I have rooted T-Mobile phone, original software that came with the phone at the release date, system update is recently downloaded OTA but not installed.
Two or three T-Mobile minor APP were removed using Titanium backup.
Understanding that three is probably multiple updates since release date, and I will be loosing root:
I am trying to achieve good wifi calls and free tethering.
How do I go about to update the phone to the latest software (not interested in custom ROM): can I just install the update?
Is there a specific post or guidance for this situation? really appreciate all the help.
Android version 4.0.3
Software number:1.53.531.16 710RD
HTC SDK API level: 4.11
Kernel version 3.0.0-01053

Did you try upgrading with kies air? You can install it from the official page by doing a Google search but I don't know if it'll work since you're rooted but its worth a try.
