Help!! Big problem with rom error!!

Hi. I have installed a rom to HTC s710 and i run another program on computer, after runnning that rom installation the process was stoped whit error(35%).after reset phone i haven't any soft. only i have a starting logo and nothing else. The hard reset do nothing-the same resaults (starting logo). I can only turn on "3 colors screen" but there when i want install a rom, process going to 3% and then i see a error and the phone is restarting.
What can i do whit that problem?? How to install rom from this "3 colors screen"??
I was installed rom many times when i have a windows mobile on my smartphone but now i don't know what to do.

I think you should do the USPL before flashing. I would guess that your error is something like 'corrupt ROM'!?

I couldn't use a uspl-cid bypass(uspl_116_jockyw.bat) becouse it should be running in windows mobile. In 3 colors screen i run the VOX-USPL-RUU(romupdateutility.exe [1,37 mb]). the process come to 100%, reset and old starting screen and nothing(on cpu wrote me : error 270:update error, image file is corrupted.). Maybe i doing something wrong. Help me in steps.
1. i pushing a camera button and conneting usb.(i have a 3 colors screen-information: ONBL 1.19.0000, spl 1.19.0000, cpld - 04)
2. what next??

Problem while flashing

I was planning (and trying) to flash my device (Universal) with [UPDATED - 2008.12.31: Tomal v8.5] WM6.1 Pro CE OS 20764 and while the progress is at the stage of getting the information about my device, I don't know what, but something happened, and it caused error.
soft resef seems not to work and now only thing I am able to see on my screen is (while hard resetting)
"Press 0 to restore factory default Press X to exit"
tried "0", it says "clearing now" and then, nothing shows up.
tried "X", and again nothing.
released and re-plugged batteries and nothing.
connected to PC and PC didn't recognized the device, and also ROM Upgrade Utility didn't do anything.
Besides those, I have no image on my screen, no color, nothing.
Please somebody help me
PS: I have read, searched, tried to find, googled etc, but couldn't find the same issue

I understand you already READ the Wiki, so I would try to reflash another ROM starting form cero, of course you knnow to have your battery at 100% and all the procedure.
Can you enter in bootloader mode?

I am trying to ROM it in bootloader mode, and it stucks on 10%, 7%.
I tried 2 different ROMs till now,

Upgrade
CE
Completed​" is seen on the screen and it freezes.
and yes, i voted.

I figured out that I was trying to do the wrong thing with mtty1.1.42
and that was not my fault, I exactly did the things that are mentioned.
but a typo or something was there, in wiki, like "On PC type “;task 28 55aa”; as in Technical Stuff wiki page and hit enter. This command suppose to "Restores DOC to its original layout". After you ran the command, you will see "WAIT" and wait until you see the command line “;USB>”;." I removed the bold sections, and now everything seems fine.
PS: It was written & # 8220 (without spaces) instead of ”.

PROBLEM SOLVED

i have same problem..i tried all roms (wm5,wm6).but none of them didn't go about %7.
I opened mtty 1.1.42. then I choose USB and saw blank page,pressed enter
"USB>set 14 0" entered but I saw only
"USB>"
at the end nothing have done
why it stop %7 ?
pls help me.nobody can repair my universal in Turkey.(no pocket pc service)

How to resolve flashing issues while installing new rom
I had the same problem on February, and I gave been to that link

and it resolved my problem by following the exact instructions given, and it resurected my Imate JasJar, now I am doing the same operation for installing the Tomal 8.5 special, and I did have encountered the same problem, but fixed it again with that same post.
Go for it, it should work for you. <Instructions for those stuck on Boot Screen> or tap onto google this, it should take yoou there directly

"catch-22" Phone don't want let me flash a new ROM, PLEASE HELP!

I'm almost broken down :'(
since days I'm trying everything to update the rom of my smartphone with the following operation system "XP and Vista".
I've got a Xda Touch diamond, but Vista says I've got a Touch Diamond P3700. Now let me tell you the catch-22:
I'm connecting the phone via usb cable to the pc(any usb-hub on the back of the pc)
Vista and Xp says "connected". Now I'm running RomUpdateUtility.exe. In the same folder
is the new rom called "DIAMIMG.NBH"
Now I'M clicking "Next" and again "Next". Now he says"verifing the information on your PDA Phone.. Please wait..
After that he says Current Information about you PDA Phone: Image version: 1.93.407.1
So now I'm clicking "update" the new Image version is 1.00.000.0
(If I use another Update Utility he says to Image Version 2.03.207.2)
Clicking "Next" and then again "Next" My Phone turns black and then the phone displays the three-color mode
and below the "serial" change to "usb" and a few
seconds later the phone shows a bar of 0% and on WinXP the bar also shows 0%.
Suddenly the connection is off. And a few minutes later the update Utility(PC) says EROOR(262) UPDATE ERROR.
I even disbaled the standby and hibernation modes on the PC. And I even tried flashing from Internal Storage!
ABsolutly futile! The three-color mode displays DIAM300, SPL-1.30.OliNex, MicroP-Diam (Led) v11,
Psoc_Diam STAGE_PVT v=x32
Is may Phone locked for new roms?
Please HELP ME before I'm going sick ´:__(

dont rush out and get a new phone just yet.... all flashing problems are actually quite simple, you just need to be methodical and patient
Firstly, i always flash with XP, call me old fashioned but its what ive always done lol.
in the past when ive had 262 errors (whilst flashing my touch cruise RIP) the radio i had installed at the time prevented further flashes.
What you havent said is what your current rom is and what rom you are trying to flash.

my new htc touch diamond makes me also sick.
If I download from the HTC page the new software rom
there's no problem updating my Smartphone to 100%.
But if I try to use any foreign rom for updating he freezes by 0%.
What is that?
I can't use any foreign rom from other peoples,
I'm absolutly helpless to this issue.
Please help me anybody :=)

Please tell me you have read the wiki or at least the stickys on how to flash with either hardspl or uspl etc??
If not ur gonna end up with a fancy looking brick.... what have you tried so far and from where?

Need help installing Windows Mobile 6.1 on HTC TOUCH (Vogue)

Hi Everybody. This is my first post here
I own an HTC Touch (Vogue) from Orange (Spain) and I would like to install WM 6.1 on it. Orange does not provide with WM 6.1 and I found on the internet that there is a Sprint version of it, so I decided to install it. I get "Error 270" it says the image is corrupt. I tried to make an splxploit-windows and nothing happens... I took a screenshot (attached file) of what I get... and it stays there. Nothing happens at all.
I tried to install other versions also... HTC Magician and others just to see what happens and always I get "Error 270". The only one I could install successfuly is the Orange Rom
I tried everything and can´t find a solution. Any help there please?

PD: I am using Windows XP, ActiveSync 4.5 and in SPLXPLOIT-WINDOWS I am following this steps (I get stuck in step 4)
1) manually start in bootloader mode
2) disable USB in activeSync
3) check 'usb' appears at the bottom of the tricolor screen and that he device is recognized by XP. If not, try unplugging/repluging
4) run the corrected unbrick.bat
5) while still in (new) tricolor screen after loader update, upload a new ROM

Any ideas?

This is not a complaint... this is just how I feel::
It is really frustrating to post something for 1st time in a forum looking for an answer and not to get anything in three days.

[Q] RUU Error 262 on 31%

Hi guys,
i already read other threads in this and other forums about the same problem, but i couldnt find what i'm looking for, so i hope you can help me.
I wanted to Install an old Stock ROM on my Polaris (Had pcarvalho's extreme rom before - so you see, i already did hard spl).
But everytime it got stuck on 31% with the error 262 - update error.
I already...
- did a soft-reset
- did a hard-reset (But it still goes back to bootloader -> four-colour-screen)
- rebootet my pc,
- reinstalled mobile device center (because i'm on Win 7),
- switched to an other PC with windows xp and active sync,
- reinstalled active sync on this pc,
- re-downloaded the package and tried another package.
But still the same Problem: Stuck in Bootloader, error on 31%
What could it be and can it be fixed? Please help me, i dont want to buy a new phone

I think that error occurs because you have not unlocked the phone on when you flash ROM, right ...? about Windows what you use on computers is not a problem, like Windows XP or 7 all fine! >>>HR<<<
