I have a diamond, I'm cooking my rom with the build 21900 but I have problems :
1) I use the diamond phone canvas dialer and when I have an incoming call a white popup appears two or three times , quickly. Then, the phone canvas dialer with the slide arrive. How can I disable this popup ?
It happens with the build 21806, 21815, 21820, 23001 too.
2) For the sms issue, I tried to replace htmlnote.dll with an older one posted on this forum but I can't open a sms threaded conversation, I can't write new sms. How can i fix this issue ?

While receiving a call, the Canvas always comes with the curtain which could slide down to have all options, can change registry to disable this? Quite troublesome for this function...

Here it is disabled and i would like to turn it on... So i guess when you find a solution i will too

I didn't like the curtain either and followed the thread kindly given by jpfa.
Whilst the dialer works well, one word of warning - if you install this, it is not so easy to uninstall.... I found the bottom line of telephone numbers (which includes the number 0 which is used in virtually ALL calls) becomes hidden after un-installing.
The part about the pop-up message notifying you that you need to put the phone to your ear after disconnecting a headset is quite annoying. I think on balance, more annoying than the curtain in the first place..... If you don't connect a bluetooth headset, this won't affect you, but if you do..... Well, you've been warned!!!
The end of the story for me is that I re-installed the Rhodium dialer. But I wish I hadn't installed it in the first place!

I recently flashed a custom ROM that I really, really like, stable and fast (HelteROM). But there's a HUGE glaring issue that's wrong with it, and that's threaded SMS.
For some reason, I can't respond to texts at all while threaded SMS is enabled. Opening the SMS from the TouchFLO 3D tab, opening them from the inbox, it's all the same: the words SMS/MMS show up on the taskbar, but otherwise the screen doesn't change. The SMS doesn't load for me to reply to it.
Tapping the X does nothing to remove the SMS/MMS text from the taskbar, either. I have to press the Home key to be kicked back to the Home screen, and I STILL haven't been able to open the SMS to reply to it. ;_;
Turning off threaded SMS from Advanced Config lets me respond to the texts just fine, so I know it's a threaded SMS issue. Is there some sort of cab that I can install to fix this issue? I've run into the same problem numerous times from different custom ROMS, but I've dealt with those by flashing different ROMs instead. I wanna stick with this ROM, though, so I could REALLY use the help!

I have the same problem that you describe on my stock Sprint Touch Pro. I cannot open or reply to SMS messages when threaded SMS is enabled, but I can see them in classic view.
This happened pretty recently, and I think it was because an e-mail that it for some reason didn't like was forwarded to my phone as a text message.
I've tried deleting the cemail.vol file and that didn't fix it. If you figure this out, I'd love to hear the solution.

I've recently posted on the Windows software development section of the forum, but i've been adviced to try here instead. After using the Asus P525 with WM5, i've switched to the P750 and i get many problems and bugs. Some of them may be directly link to the P750, others are certainly linked to the configuration of WM6.1 :
1/ How to get back the "Call history" button instead of "Dial" ? I want to get the full call history, and not mixed with the contacts
2/ How to set by default the numeric pad ? Anytime i press a number on the button, it displays letters instead, like if i had to type a SMS from it
3/ How to restore the long press on the "#1" to launch the voicemail ? Now it launches the smartdial stupid thing
4/ Why can't i select anymore the profil (tone, vibrator, silent) directly with the jog dial button ? Now it select things in the today page
5/ Why does the noise signal for the double call function (receiving a call while there's already one established) disappear when using a bluetooth headset ?
6/ Why doesn't the red led notification disappear after checking a new voicemail ? It keeps warning me whatever (not the case for checking a new SMS by the way)
Also, two others problems : a/ the backlight screen that turns on itself randomly b/ disconnection of the Bluetooth headset. There are two patchs for that on Asus website. I'm testing the results.
One last detail : i have tried a hard reset yet.
ROM firmwares : V6.7.0 (there's no 6.9 for the french version but i'm curious to know what bugs are fixed in that version)
Radio firmware : V4.6.8-P2

is it possible to make a mod for incoming dealer as a popup function like palm pre?
when i'm working with word or excel and haven't time to talk with someone or i don't wanna block the dealer, this function will be pretty cool.
its a simple thing but this can be very comfortable i guess

First or all...in my opinion, hitting the ignore is just ask quick as acknowledging a a pop up window but we all have our preferences.
There's a software called Magicall by Mobilion that will block the call from ringing but still show that a call was made via system notification (pop up window). You can set it to notify you in what ever way you like (window, light, etc) You can set it for specific numbers, all, numbers from difference outlook categories, etc. I find it useful when at work and only want very important contacts to come through and all the rest gets sent straight to voicemail automatically.

people complained for years about the little popup window for incoming calls..
then as soon as we get a great incoming caller window you want the old system back..
try build a rom without the HTC dialer.. I've not tried the MS one for a while but It may do what you want.

I have been having an issue with recieving any sound notifications indicating that my SMS messages have been sent. All of my other sound notifications work fine though. I brought the handset back to Sprint in order to let a "technician" look at it. His claim was that since there is no option in my sound settings for sent SMS & only MMS, that it must have obviously been an oversight with the HTC creators. (yea right)
My HTC Touch Pro 1 was able to emit a sound notification to indicate that a text message had been sent, so I refuse to believe that this is just a mere mistake by the programmers. Is there a program out there that can correct this issue?
Also, the Touch pro 1 had more character options to choose from than the Touch pro 2 while in the symbol portion of full qwerty mode. Is there a way to increase my symbol options? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi I have the same issue after upgrading to win 6.5. I had 6.1 before and I had the message sent notification. I've been searching and all I see are archives on how to disable it...I'm soo used to the Notification and I actually like it..htc says theres no text notification for the 6.5 version..Ugh
I have the same probelm - but I'm sure it worked initially with WM6.5... I've installed AdvancedConfig, but no option there either.
Can no-one help?
