Screen aligment H4300/H4350/H4355 - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
Does anybody had the screen aligment data for the HP iPaq H43xx?
Or does anybody can take a look in his registry.
install a registry editor (like PHM registry editor).
You can see it under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH
and than CalibrationData, where you van see al lot of numbers. that is the data.
Or you can install http://www.codefactory.es/descargas/family_1/product_3/MSP_RemoteAlignment.zip (remote screen aligmnet, where you can recieve the information, and it will set it in the folder where Remote screen aligment has been installed. Tha file is called Callibration.dat (or something like that).
Kind regards,
Vincent

Edited so maybe it is easyer to recieve the data with Remote Screen Alignment (from Code Factory).
Anybody? it would me amazing is someone can help me.
Vincent

out of curiosity whats stopping you entering it maually

I connect my PDA to the computer, and then i use a remote control to insert it manually.
And i cannot use Align screen, because my screen is broken, and before i also did it by manualy, but i lost the data.
Vincent

aahhh why didnt you say so?
all you need is either an app called my mobiler or everywan
these will show you the device onthe screen so you can align it that way
although im confused as to why you aliging the screen as if you screen is broken then you cant use the touchscreen anyway
Everywan remote can be found here
http://www.sparus-software.com

Used both. But it doesn't work.. i can't allign the screen by software..
because the touchpad have to reconize the point for the data.
It is just a little broke in the screen.. but it is at the point where i have to align the screen. so.. Anybody else can send me the data?
I really need it.
Regards,
Vincent

Anybody? who can take the few minutes to take a look?

where i can get this SW from? can you help?
Thanx a lot for your consideration
Various places, but I think an easy option is the Remote Control app by Microsoft.
It's old but it works.

LG KS20 stuck at splash screen

Hi,
I was stupid enough to try and alter a reg key for the default sip without taking a backup (I know, basic rule number 1). Now the device is stuck at the Vodafone splash screen (before the Windows Mobile spash screen). I can hear the first right sound when I connect it to my computer (not the default USB connection sounds, but the one you get normally when connecting), but it doesn't sync and I can't get into the device via Explorer
I need my contacts (no backup of this either) and my messages. Anyone with good ideas?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
No one?
I did a hard reset, but have managed to restore the cemail.vol and pim.vol.
If anyone has a good idea how to get my messages and contacts back, please post it. I have written what I have tried so far in this thread

Broken Screen - Recovering Contacts/SMS?

Hi folks
I'm waiting on a nice shiny new Samsung Omnia arriving from my mobile provider, but in the meantime I'm still using my old HTC Trinity handset... and have managed to break the screen on it. I'd love to recover my data, but ActiveSync hasn't managed to get my contacts into Outlook and I don't think it can get my SMS.
Any ideas on how I can recover my data, preferably in a way that I can then put it onto the new Omnia when it arrives?
Thanks in advance for help everyone!
Uso SOTI controller or whatever it's called to see the PPC screen on the PC screen. Navigate using PC mouse etc.

QFT. Use SOTI Pocket Controller (which you can download a trial for free from SOTI's website) and you can control your PPC on your PC's screen.
^^ What they said, but use MyMobiler (which is free forever ) from here.
Also you should be able to use ActiveSync/Explore to install DotFred's PPCPimBackup (here) - it's just an .EXE you need to copy somewhere on your Trinity, then run it (using the MyMobiler screen to guide you) and backup all your contacts and SMS messages (and calendar, tasks etc. if you wish) - if you have a lot of contacts/messages, make sure you un-tick the "use memory for temporary files" option.
The resultant backup file can then be copied back to your desktop PC and you can perform the reverse operation - with or without the help of MyMobiler - when your Omnia arrives.
Cheers,
Mark.
I am in the same situation.
I had an Eten device before and now have a Diamond.
The problem is that the screen is broken and most (all ?) of the controlling apps need a software PPC-side, and without screen it's quite hard to install.
As long as MyMobiler can establish an ActiveSync-type connection with the phone (i.e. if you've got the phone and PC connected via A/S) you'll be fine - MyMobiler will install the software on the phone itself....I don't even think it asks any questions.

Thanks, I'd not heard of MyMobiler but I just downloaded it and it connects to my phone quickly and automatically without even having to set it up in the first place. Nice one.
Hi. I accidently cracked the screen on my s740 and now i need to extract my sms from the phone. I have already installed my mobile, but the damn program doesent seem to work. I have win xp, but when the phone syncs to my computer, my mobile says: "Not connected" -> "Connecting" -> "Running on your mobile" -> "Not conneted".
It is slow as hell and doesent respond in windows, it doesnt seem to be able to connect to my phone.
So, here is the deal, my screen is busted, and i have a very important sms in my phone that i HAVE to extract from the phone.
So, can i copy some file from the phone, containing all the smses and then extract in windows on my computer? If not, how am i supposed to do? PIM Backup can only be run on the phone and my screen is cracked.
Please HELP!

Try this...right click on the my mobiler icon in your pc's taskbar, choose "configure mobile", then "install". Sometimes I've had to manually force that step to get it to allow connection.
EDIT: also, is it making a solid activesync connection to begin with?
Reviving an old thread
What happens if I can't make an activesync connection? I think at some point I disabled the auto-connect on the phone and now it may require my input to connect.

Need Help XDA orbit - Touch screen broken

Well I have managed to break my touch screen on my 02 XDA Orbit , not a big problem as I have a spare XDA Orbit.
The problem is I need to access to the broken one, the phone powers up into the unlock screen, but I cannot get any further due to the touch screen being dead .
I have loaded mymobiler onto my PC to try to control it through that. The program requires an acknowledgment on the phone so that the application is installed, cannot acknowledge this because of the broken touch screen.
I would like to know if there is anyway of unlocking the touch screen, so that I can control the phone using keys or through mymobiler.
Any help is appreciated, I have used the search engine and google, but cannot find if it is possible.
For what purpose do you want to access the phone?
If you got a spare LCD-Display, just replace the old one and you can acces the device.
Or does your data get lost if you take out the battery?
Another solution for exporting contacts and other data is Jeyo Mobile Companion. So you can save your data and repair the device afterwards.

Thanks for the reply. I have several applications on the phone that I need info from, so that I can register them on the new phone.
I do not want to remove the screen from the working phone just to get at the stuff I need. I might end up with two broken phones
There must be a simple way of deactivating the screen lock feature

black/blank screen touch pro, please help D:

Hello, thankyou everyone who takes the time to read this and to help. My HTC Touch Pro, the screen is completely black, it turns on and I can recieve calls and I know the keyboard works, but I cant even tell who it is or what I'm typing since the screen is blacklight and won't show anything. It powers on and off and charges and i can hear the sounds so I think its just a problem with the screen.
I've tried MyMobiler and Pocket Controller, but both cant work for me because I first need to connect to Activesynce or Windows Mobile Device Center, but I can't even see the password I'm typing so I can't unlock the phone to view it on my computer (( so I can't get it to connect to activesync or WMDC.
I really wish it was'nt locked with a password because then everything would be easier I'm so upset by this DDD:
I can't hard reset either because I can't see the screen at all.
Should I try to open it up and replace the screen&digitizer myself? I really don't want to try spending extra money fooling around with the phone if I'm not sure it'll work.
What I'd really love to know, does anybody know how to view the phones screen on the computer without having to unlock the password first from the phone? If anyone can help me with that or find some other method than I'd realyREALLYReallyyyy appreciate that sooo much. I could just type the password from the computer or hard reset and everything.
Or if theres any other method of fixing this that would help too...
Also, I can't take it to Sprint store because its out of warranty/insurance, so
I'm just trying to repair it myself. I've heard of this happening to people before but have'nt ever seen it get fixed.
Again, THANKYOU to anyone thats reads or tries to help !
Have you tried "Hard-Resetting" using the 3 Key Combo? (Hardware Mode)
Or were you trying with the "Clear Data" option? (Software Mode)
I had this when I went snowboarding with my Touch Pro. Turns out slamming the slider shut quite hard fixed the problem.
Hope it helps.
